Name Description

Odysseas Kyriakopoulos

 Mr. Odysseas P. Kyriakopoulos is Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since 2001. He is a Member of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Company. He studied Mining Engineering at Montanuniversitaet Leoben in Austria and at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in England. He received his MBA at the European Institute of Business Administration (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau, France. He has served as Chairman of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises from 2000 to 2006, Vice President of BusinessEurope (ex UNICE) President of the Board of Directors of the Greek National Opera (2006-2009) and Vice- President of Hellenic Exchanges Holdings SA. He is currently a Member of the General Council of Bank of Greece, member of the Board of I.Boutaris & Son Holding SA, of Lavipharm SA and of Lamda Development SA. He joined the Company in 1979 and served as Managing Director from 1990 to 2001.

Kriton-Leonidas Anavlavis

 Mr. Kriton-Leonidas St. Anavlavis was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA on April 4, 2011. Mr. Anavlavis holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Marine Engineering from the University of Newcastle Upon-Tyne and in 1989 he earned an MBA from INSEAD. He is a Member of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Company. He worked for Sulzer AG from 1985 until 1986 as Research engineer at the R&D department and for Royal Cruise Line (RCL), a Ship-owning and Operating Company as Superintendent engineer from 1987 to 1988. He joined the Company in 1990 holding Management positions such as Sales Manager of the Perlite Division from 1991 until 1993, Commercial Manager of the Bentonite Division during 1994, General Manager of the Bentonite Division from 1995 until 2007 and Chief Financial Officer of the S&B Group from 2008 until April 4, 2011. He has served as president of the European Bentonite Producers Association (EUBA), member of the Board of Industrial Minerals Association-Europe (IMA-Europe) and president of the Greek Alumni Association of INSEAD.

Kalypso-Maria Nomikou

 Ms. Kalypso-Maria Nomikou has been appointed Non-Executive Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of S and B Industrial Minerals SA, effective as of June 1, 2011, and is Chairman of the Human Resources & Nominations Committee and a Member of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Company. She previously served as Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company from 2001 until June 1, 2011. She holds a BSc in Economics and Business Administration and she has participated in seminars organized by international organizations and universities, such as the Harvard Business School. Ms. Nomikou is Chairman of the Board of Directors of A.M. Nomikos Transworld Maritime Agencies SA, of several ships owning companies and shipping related commercial ventures.

Ioannis Christodoulakis

 Mr. Ioannis E. Christodoulakis was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer at S and B Industrial Minerals SA on September 1, 2011. He previously served as Head of Financial Reporting & Administration of the Company. He holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Marywood and he studied Finance at the School of Business and Economics of La Verne University in the United States. He worked from 1982 until 2001 at the companies Siskos&Siskos, Price Waterhouse, Mobil Oil Hellas SA, Eliopoulos Bros and Mercedes Benz Hellas SA. He joined S and B Industrial Minerals in 2001.

Ioannis Paniaras

 Mr. Ioannis Paniaras was appointed General Manager, Global Marketing Organization of S and B Industrial Minerals SA, on September 1, 2011. In 2001, he served as General Manager of Otavi Minerals. In 2005, he was appointed as Director of Chitir in Bentonite Division. Mr. Paniaras holds a BSc and a MSc in Civil Engineering form Imperial College of London and an MBA from INSEAD Business School. He joined S&B Industrial Minerals SA in 1998. Before joining S&B he was manager of the European Activities of Knight Piesold.

Danai Voulgari

 Ms. Danai Voulgari serves as Group Legal Counsel of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since 2011. She served as Group Legal Counsel, Director of Corporate Affairs of the Company from 2010 until 2011. She joined the Company in 1988 and assumed the position of Head of the Group Legal Department in 2004. She holds a degree in Law from the University of Athens and she holds a DEA on Public Law from Universite Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne.

Aris Chatziparaskevas

 Mr. Aris Chatziparaskevas was appointed General Manager, Region Asia/Pacific of S and B Industrial Minerals SA on September 1, 2011. He previously served as General Manager of Perlite Division since 2008 and as General Manager of Otavi Division until the end of 2007. He also worked for eight years as Project Engineer/Manager of Mobil Oil Helllas and Mobile Oil Europe Ltd. He is a graduate of National Technical University of Athens with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical/ Production Engineering. He joined the Company in 1996.

Athanasios Kefalas

 Mr. Athanasios (Thanasis) Kefalas was appointed General Manager, Region South Europe at S and B Industrial Minerals SA on September 1, 2011. He is a graduate of Mining Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a graduate of Business Administration from INSEAD. He joined S&B in 1981. In 1995 he was appointed Bauxite Mines Manager and in 1999 he joined the Bentonite Division as Operations and Milos Site Manager.

Rob Steele

 Mr. Rob Steele was appointed General Manager, Region Americas at S and B Industrial Minerals SA on September 1, 2011. He is a graduate of Operations Management and Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University and received an MBA from The University of Chicago. He worked for Amcol International for 21 years holding Operations, Marketing, and senior management positions. He began working with S&B in 2001 on a consulting basis to help develop bentonite markets in North and South America. He joined the Company in 2007 and was appointed North American Bentonite Business Unit Manager in 2007. Has served on the Executive Committee of the Foundry Educational Foundation since 1992, and has served on the boards of AFS (American Foundry Society), DIS (Ductile Iron Society), and CISA (Casting Industry Association).

Dirk Steinkemper

 Mr. Dirk Steinkemper has been appointed General Manager, Region North Europe of S and B Industrial Minerals SA, effective as of September 1, 2011. Mr. Steinkemper joined Stollberg in 1997. From 2000 to 2006, he served as Head of the Technical Department. During 2006-2008, he assumed the position of the CCF Germany Business Unit Manager and between 2008 and 2010 he held the position of CCF US Business Unit Manager. He studied Materials Engineering at Universitaet Dortmund and worked for seven years in Mannesmann Demag as an engineer and project leader, before joining Stollberg.

 Ms. Eva Valavani is Group Human Resources Manager of S and B Industrial Minerals SA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Athens. She worked for Boehringer Ingelheim SA as Assistant HR Manager and for Eliopoulos Brothers SA as Human Resources Manager. Ms. Valavani joined the company in 1996.

Charis Kotsokolos

 Mr. Charis Kotsokolos has been Investor Relations Manager of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since November 11, 2008. He started his career in Unilever Hellas in 1998, where he worked as Financial Analyst for five years. He then took over the Marketing Finance Manager role in British American Tobacco Hellas. During the last three years, he joined the Corporate Office of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, initially in the group's Business Planning function and continuing as Investor Relations Associate in the Investor Relations Department.

Thomas Androulakis

 Mr. Thomas Androulakis has been appointed Group Sustainable Development Manager of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since September 1, 2011. He was Perlite Division General Manager until 2007. He studied Chemical Engineering at National Technical University of Athens and received a Masters Degree in Management Science and a Masters Degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering, both from Imperial College, London, UK. Mr. Androulakis joined the company in 1991.

Thanos Efthymiou

 Mr. Thanos Efthymiou serves as Mergers and Acquisitions Manager at S and B Industrial Minerals SA. He holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering from Athens Natoinal Technical University (1989) and he earned an MBA from ALBA (Athens Laboratory for Business Administration) in 1995. Before joining S&B he worked at VM Alert SA as Consultant Engineer and Project Manager from 1989 until 1994. He joined S and B Industrial Minerals SA in 1995.

 Ms. Rena Koumandou is Advisor to the Management of S and B Industrial Mineral SA since January 11, 2010. Previously she served as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility & Communication of the Company. She studied Economics and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Washington. She previously served at various positions at ESSO, and as Human Relations Advisor at the Titan Group of Companies. She also served as representative of the Federation of Greek Industries to the Board of the Organization for Mediation and Arbitration (OMED) and is currently Member of the Board of the Greek Mining Industries. She joined the Company in 1989.

Nikolaos Pagiaslis

Flora-Maria Kyriakopoulou

 Ms. Flora-Maria (Florica) P. Kyriakopoulou serves as Non-Executive Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since 1990. She is also a Member of the Strategic Planning Committee and the Audit, Nominating and Human Resources Committees of the Company. She studied Economics and Political Science at Universite de Geneve and at Mount Holyoke College and Political Philosophy at Brandeis University in the United States. She is a journalist, an artist and a businesswoman. As a journalist she worked for more than 10 years for Lambrakis Press SA, as a correspondent for ?he Guardian in Greece and as the founder, chairman and CEO of the radio station KANALI 15 in Athens. As an artist she has held numerous solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Her work is conceptual and includes painting, photography and installations. She was chairman and CEO of PAMONA SA, a fruit exporting company based in Nafplion for 10 years. In the past decade, she has worked mostly for the establishment of FOUGARO, an avant garde Living Space of Art in Nafplion, that was launched in 2012. She is both chairman and CEO of FOUGARO SA.

Alain Speeckaert

 Mr. Alain Walter Marie Speeckaert has been Non-Executive Director of S and B Industrial Minerals since October 14, 2009. Mr. Speeckaert has studied Financial Accounting at the Instituut voor Postuniversitair Onderwijs Antwerp and Management at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. He holds a Commercial certificate from the Sanderus School in Antwerp. He has served as President and CEO of the Sibelco Group Management Committee from 2002 until the end of 2009. During his career, he served as Commercial Representative of SCR-Sibelco, deputy Manager of De Nieuwe Zandgroeven van Mol, president of the Board of Sibelco Nederland, General Manager and Managing Director of SCR-Sibelco. He currently holds the Chairmanship of the Belgian National Federation of Silica Producers.

Efthymios Vidalis

 Mr. Efthymios O. Vidalis has been appointed Non-Executive Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA effective as of April 4, 2011. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of the Company from June, 2001 until 2011. He graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and also holds an MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, Harvard University. During his 20 years career at Owens Corning, USA, he held General Management positions including Vice President of the European Reinforcement business, 1986-1993, President of the Global Composites business, 1994. After 1994 he led the Composites and later the Insulation Business Units. From 1998 to 2001, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Member of the Board of Directors of S&B Industrial Minerals. Mr. Vidalis is Chairman of the Greek Mining Enterprises Association, Member of the General Council of the Federation of Greek Industries, Chairman and Board Member of subsidiary companies of the S&B Group, and Member of the Board of TITAN S.A., RAYCAP S.A., and Harvard University Policy Advisory Board.

Robert Champion de Crespigny

 Mr. Robert James Champion de Crespigny has been Non-Executive Independent Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since October 14, 2009. Mr. Champion de Crespigny was the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of Normandy Mining Limited until its merger in 2002 with Newmont Mining Corporation. He has also served as Chairman of the Economic Development Board of South Australia, Chancellor of The University of Adelaide, Chairman of the South Australian Museum, non-executive Chairman of a number of publicly listed Australian companies and advisor to the Executive Committee of the South Australian Cabinet. Furthermore, he has served as Australia’s representative on the Commonwealth’s Expert Group on Democracy and Development, Chairman of the Australian Gold Council, and Member of the Business Council of Australia, the Minerals Council of Australia and the National Gallery of Australia.

Gabriel Hawawini

 Mr. Gabriel Hawawini was appointed Non-Executive Independent Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA on June 1, 2011. He holds a BSc in Chemistry from Universite de Toulouse, BSc and MSc in Organic Chemistry from the same university as well as he holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Toulouse. He also holds a PhD in Finance and Economics from New York University. He is The Henry Grunfeld Chaired Professor of Investment Banking at INSEAD since 1996, having at times held various administrative and academic positions at the same school, that of Dean among them from 2000 until 2006. His academic career consists, among others, of professorships at the New York University. He is Chairman of the EQUIS Accreditation Awarding Body and non-executive director of the Board of Remy Cointreau, having also served as member of the Board of educational institutions (Carnagie Mellon University, The University of the People, The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, The American University of Beirut, The Athens Laboratory of Business Administration etc.) and corporations (Accenture, Cerestar, Mastrad) as well as non-executive director at the Board of Vivendi from 2003 until 2010.

Raphael Moissis

 Mr. Raphael A. Moissis has been Non-Executive Independent Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA. since 1996. He is Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee and a Member of the Human Resources & Nominations Committee of the Company. Mr. Moissis holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Manchester and a M.Sc and D.Sc. from MIT, where he has also served as assistant professor from 1960 to 1963. He is presently Deputy Chairman of the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Studies (IOBE), Deputy Chairman of College Year in Athens, and Honorary Chairman of ALFA BETA VASSILOPOULOS SA, where he served as Chairman for several years. He has previously served as Executive Secretary of the National Energy Council at the Ministry of Coordination, Deputy Governor of the Hellenic Industrial Development Bank (ETBA), Governor of the Public Power Corporation, Chairman of the Board of ATTIKO METRO SA, President of the Public Gas Corporation (DEPA), and President of the National Energy Strategy Council. He has also been a member of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Greek Industries (SEV), he was the founding Chairman of the MIT Club of Greece, and served as Secretary and Treasurer of Athens College, member of the Board of the Centre for Political and Educational Studies (KPEE). In 1982 he was named Officer of the Legion of Honor by the President of France and in 2008 Commander in the Order of the Crown of the Kingdom of Belgium.

Eleni Papakonstantinou

 Ms. Eleni Papakonstantinou has been Non-Executive Independent Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since September, 2004. She studied Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London. She laso holds an LLM Degree from Harvard Law School in the United States. She continued her studies in Brussels and was awarded a PhD degree from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles. She worked as a Legal Associate at a law office in New York and became Member of the New York Bar Association. Ms. Papakonstantinou is practicing lawyer at Law Offices Papaconstantinou. Among others, she is legal counsel of Toyota Hellas, Philip Morris/Papastratos, Swarovski and Amadeus, and Member of the Board of Kraft Food Hellas S.A. She teaches mergers & acquisitions and antitrust Law at ALBA (Athens Laboratory of Business Administration). She is also President of the Harvard Club of Greece and Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP).

Alexandros Sarrigeorgiou

 Mr. Alexandros P. Sarrigeorgiou has been Non-Executive Independent Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since 2002. He is a Member of the Strategic Planning and Nominating Committees of the Company as well as Chairman of the Audit Committee. He holds a BSc and a MSc in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and holds an MBA of Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He started his career as Financial Analyst with Owens Corning Fiberglas for three years and spent the next seven years with the Jefferson Insurance group (Allianz Group Companies) in the United States where he reached the level of Senior Vice President in charge of Asset Management and Operations. He moved to Athens in 1992, becoming General Manager of the Allianz Group, Greece, in charge of Mutual Funds and Financial Services until 1997 and Group CFO until 1999. From 1999 until 2004 he was the Managing Director and CEO of the Allianz Group, Greece and the Chairman and Managing Director of Allianz Dresdner Asset Management, Hellas. Since 2004 he is the Managing Director & CEO of the EFG Eurolife Insurance Group (Group Eurobank EFG) and Chairman of EFG Insurance Services. He is a member of the Board of the Greek Association of Insurance Companies. He has also served as member of the Board of the Hellenic Capital Markets Committee.

 Mr. Jan Carel Maarten Schonfeld has been Non-Executive Independent Director of S and B Industrial Minerals SA since October 14, 2009. He holds a degree in Business Economics from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
