Eggert Voscherau |
Dr. Eggert Voscherau has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BASF SE since April 30, 2009. In addition, he acts as Chairman of the Personnel Committee and as Member of the Nominating Committee of the Company. He is Member of the Supervisory Board of Zentrum fuer Europaeische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH (ZEW). He was Vice Chairman of the Management Board at BASF SE from May 6, 2003 until April 24, 2008 and prior to that was a Member of the Management from November 1, 1996. In 1969, he Joined BASF AG. In 1981, Dr. Voscherau held management position at BASF Brasileira S.A., Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 1984, he was Managing Director at BASF Brasileira S.A., Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 1987, he was President at Crop Protection division. In 1991, he was President of North American Consumer Products division (Pharmaceuticals, Crop Protection and Fine Chemicals). In 1994, Dr. Voscherau was President of Latin America North division. In 1996, he was appointed to the Board of Executive Directors, effective November 1, 1996. In 1997, he was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BASF Corporation, New Jersey.
