Name Description

Kennedy Mandevhani

Mr. Kennedy Mandevhani has served as Non-Executive Chairman of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since 2005. He served as Managing Director of the Company during the merger of British American Tobacco and Rothmans of Pall Mall in 2000. During which period he also sat on the British American Tobacco Zambia Board. He chairs the Old Mutual Asset Management Company Board. He is currently Managing Director for Dunlop Zimbabwe, a subsidiary of the multinational Indian Based Apollo Tyres Group. He is also a director of Tour Africa (Private) Limited. He also serves as Member of the Board Audit Committee and Member of the Board Compensation Committee within the Company.

Lucas Francisco

Mr. Lucas Francisco has served as Finance Director of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since December 8, 2015. Lucas has enjoyed over 9 years experience in various senior finance and internal audit roles within the British American Tobacco Southern African Area. Prior to his recent appointment Lucas was the Finance Director of British American Tobacco Mozambique Limited.

Stephen Nyabadza

Mr. Stephen Nyabadza has served as Company Secretary, Head of Legal of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since May 28, 2013. He is a registered legal practitioner and public notary. He is an admitted Lawyer in Zimbabwe and Botswana. He has worked for companies in Zimbabwe and Botswana and has gained experience in corporate law and company secretarial practices in these markets. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Legal Letters, with specialization in Corporate Law, from the University of South Africa - UNISA and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Eastern and Southern African Management Institute.

Clara Mlambo

Mrs. Clara Mlambo was appointed Managing Director of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited as of February 1, 2016. Clara joined the Company as a Management Trainee and went further to hold the positions of Head of Brands, Head of Trade and Marketing Manager. In 2006 Clara was posted to British American Tobacco South Africa where she was initially Cluster Manager Grocery. She then moved onto the DSS (Direct Store Sales) Project in South Africa as lead on two key work streams. After the DSS project she moved to Strategy, Planning and Insights (SP&I) as Marketing Planning Manager. In 2009 Clara became Area Head of Brands Sub Saharan Africa and later Area Head of Brands East and Central Africa Area based in Kenya and was part of the project team that ensured the successful transition of the West Africa Markets from Sub Sahara to the then newly formed West Africa Area. From September 2011 to December 2013, Clara held the position of Head of Marketing for the British American Tobacco Southern African Markets cluster based in South Africa. Prior to her recent appointment, Clara was the Managing Director of British American Tobacco (Zambia) Plc which is listed on the Lusaka Stock Exchange.

Rumbidzai Hondora

Ms. Rumbidzai Hondora has served as Head of Marketing of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since November 2013. She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Marketing Management South Africa as well as the Marketing Association of Zimbabwe. She has experience in trade and distribution, particularly in the FMCG industry, having worked for several local companies over the past eight years. She joined BAT Zimbabwe in May 2012 as TM & D Manager.

Francis Mwale

Mr. Francis Mwale has served as Human Resources Business Partner of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since December 2013. He joined the BAT Group in December 2013 as Human Resources Business Partner responsible for Malawi and Zimbabwe. Prior to BAT Zimbabwe, he worked in production development and sales for a telecommunications company. He brings to the role both Human Resources and Commercial experience gathered in Mining, Telecommunications and Banking industries.

Shingai Koti

Ms. Shingai Koti serves as Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Manager of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited. She is responsible for Corporate and Regulatory Affairs for Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi. She also serves as Spokesperson in all three markets. She joined BAT in May 2013 from a sports institution, where she was the General Manager for Media & Public Affairs. She has previously held roles in organizations in Germany and Zimbabwe. She is also a media practitioner, having written and produced for radios stations and publications in Southern Africa.

Zacharia Mupachike

Mr. Zacharia Mupachike has served as Head of Supply Chain of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since April 2014. Zacharia joined BAT Zimbabwe Leaf Division (then Export Leaf Tobacco) as a Leaf Trainee buyer on April 1, 2005, being a mid career recruit. Within BAT Zimbabwe Leaf Division he graduated to become a Senior Leaf Buyer, worked as an Operations Planning Administrator, Leaf Logistics Supervisor and held the role of Logistics Manager for four years (2009-2013) before his recent appointment as Head of Supply Chain in April 2014.

Moses Musarugwa

Mr. Moses Musarugwa has served as Head of Manufacturing of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since 2007. He joined the then Rothmans in 1991 as an Apprentice. In 1998, he was part of the team that established the Factory in Chimoio, Mozambique, where he was responsible for the maintenance. He returned to Zimbabwe in 2000 as an Electrical Team Leader, a position he held until 2005 when he was promoted to Plant Engineer. In 2006, his role was expanded to Senior Managing Director, Engineering and EHS. He was then promoted to Head of Manufacturing in 2007.

Lovemore Manatsa

Mr. Lovemore T. Manatsa was appointed Non-Executive Director of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited as of January 31, 2016. He resigned from the positions of Managing Director, Executive Director of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited as of January 31, 2016. He joined the Company in 1995 and worked in various roles including Advertising Manager, National Sales Manager and Trade Marketing and Distribution Director. In 2003, he was seconded to British American Tobacco Malawi as Marketing Manager and subsequently Country Manager. He relocated to Zambia in 2007 as Country Manager for British American Tobacco Zambia and Malawi, a position he held until his posting to Zimbabwe in September 2008 as Managing Director of the Company. He also sits on the Board of Standard Chartered Bank Zimbabwe as a Non-Executive Director.

Angela Mashanyare

Ms. Angela Mashanyare has served as Non-Executive Director of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since 2003. She has been Chief Executive Officer for Business Equipment Corporation for the past 11 years, a position she holds today. She serves on a number of Boards for local and international organizations and has brought the Company her years of experience. She is a Member of the Business Council of Zimbabwe, National Chamber of Commerce and serves as Councilor of the Institute of Directors in Zimbabwe. She also serves as Chairperson of the Board Audit and Risk Committee and Member of the Board Compensation Committee within the Company.

Hope Sadza

Prof. Hope C. Sadza has served as Non-Executive Director of British American Tobacco Zimbabwe (Holdings) Limited since May 28, 2013. She is the Founding Vice Chancellor of Women’s University on Africa. Prior to her appointment as Vice Chancellor, she held various management positions within the public sector including being a Commissioner for the Public Service Commission. She holds directorships in a listed FMCG company and a financial institution in Zimbabwe. Her qualifications include a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Public Administration from the University of Zimbabwe, a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Missouri. She also serves as Member of the Board Audit and Risk Committee of the Company, and Member of the Board Compensation Committee of the Company.
