Name Description

Thomas O'Neill

Mr. Thomas Charles O'Neill, FCA, LL.D., is Independent Chairman of the Board of Bce Inc., and Bell Canada, a subsidiary of the company. Mr. O’Neill was Chief Executive Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting (provider of management consulting and technology services) from January 2002 to May 2002 and then Chair of the Board from May 2002 to October 2002. Mr. O’Neill is a former Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Queen’s University and a past member of the Advisory Council of Queen’s University School of Business. Mr. O’Neill now serves as Vice-Chair of St. Michael’s Hospital where he served on the Board since 2003. He graduated from Queen’s University with a BComm and is a chartered accountant. Mr. O’Neill received an Honorary LLD from Queen’s University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

George Cope

Mr. George Alexander Cope is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Bce Inc., and President and Chief Executive Officer of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of the Company. George has been President and Chief Executive Officer of BCE and Bell Canada since July 2008. He was previously President and Chief Operating Officer of Bell Canada until July 2008. Mr. Cope is a seasoned Canadian telecommunications executive who had served in public-company CEO roles in the industry for more than 15 years prior to joining Bell Canada in 2005. He has earned a reputation as an innovative telecom strategist and builder of high-performance teams, launching three next-generation digital networks during his career. Mr. Cope holds an Honours B.Comm. degree from the University of Western Ontario. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Siim Vanaselja

Mr. Siim A. Vanaselja is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Bce Inc., and Bell Canada, a subsidiary of the company. He joined BCE in February 1994 and has held senior positions in the BCE group, including Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Bell Canada International from August 1996 to January 2001, when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of BCE. Prior to joining BCE, Mr. Vanaselja was a partner at the accounting firm KPMG Canada in Toronto. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business degree from the Schulich School of Business. Mr. Vanaselja has served as a member of the Conference Board of Canada's National Council of Financial Executives, the Corporate Executive Board's Working Council for Chief Financial Officers and Moody’s Council of Chief Financial Officers. He currently sits on the boards of numerous BCE group companies and has served as a board director of CGI Group inc., Jones Intercable, Cable and Wireless Communications and the National Ballet of Canada. He is an ambassador of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec and an active fundraiser for the Royal Victoria Hospital and the annual Bell Walk for Kids.

Charles Brown

Mr. Charles W. Brown is President – The Source (Bell) Electronics Inc., of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc. He is an innovative business leader with more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunication and cable communications industries. In May 2009 he was promoted to Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for Bell. He is currently integrating Bell products and services into The Source retail operations with more than 750 stores across Canada, expanding Bell’s competitive position. He was also Bell’s lead executive in charge of providing full telecommunication services to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Charles began his career with Bell in 1980 as a sales representative and held management positions in marketing and business development with BCE Mobile and Bell Mobility. Charles returned to Bell in 2006. When Bell expanded its SMB business unit in 2008, consolidating Bell’s small and medium commercial customers in Ontario and Québec with those in Western Canada, Charles was recognized for his strategic thinking and appointed President of this key business area. In addition to his responsibilities with Bell, Charles also sits on the Board for Axia NetMedia, and is Chairman of the Board for The Source.

Kevin Crull

Mr. Kevin W. Crull is President – Bell Media of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc. He was appointed President – Residential Services in September 2005. He is responsible for Wireline voice, all Internet access and portal services as well as the Bell Video Group. Mr. Crull joined Bell Canada in early 2005 as President of Consumer Solutions. In this capacity, Mr. Crull was responsible for sales, marketing, customer care, and product development for the company's wireline, wireless, Internet and digital television services. Mr. Crull has over 20 years experience sales, marketing, and operational teams including 9 years consumer telecommunications businesses. His experience base includes two diverse industries and four multi-billion dollar organizations. Mr. Crull was Senior Vice-President of AT&T Consumer and Small Business from 2001-2004, and also served as Senior Vice-President and General Manager of the company's wireless business during 2004. Prior to his tenure at AT&T, he spent five years with US West as Senior Vice President of the Consumer Services Group and nine years with Nestle where he advanced from an entry level position to Division Vice President of Beverage Sales. Mr. Crull holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco as well as a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Ohio State University.

Thomas Little

Mr. Thomas Little is President – Bell Business Markets of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc. As President - Wholesale, Tom Little is accountable for 700 professionals involved in managing and administering Bell’s wholesale activities. With more than 25 years’ experience building and companies, Tom joined Bell in 2009. After graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1984, he joined Ernst and Young. He was admitted to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1986. In 1986, Tom joined VenGrowth Capital Funds, a Canadian venture capital fund. From 1990 to 1995, Tom was Vice President of OMD, a high technology medical equipment distributor. He was responsible for administration, operations, the field service organization and critical care sales. In 1995, Tom became one of the founders and Executive Vice President of Dicomit Dicom Information Technologies, a company providing technology to healthcare system manufacturers. Responsible for all operations and general management, he strategically focused the company on the Original Equipment Manufacturer market, raised equity financings, hired and motivated the management team, drove revenue and sold key accounts globally. The company was sold to a NASDAQ listed buyer. From 2002 to 2009, Tom was President and CEO of VisualSonics Inc., a global life sciences technology company which he focused on the research market. He led equity financings, built a winning management team and implemented a direct global sales force in the U.S. and Europe. In 2005, Tom was named the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Life Sciences, Ontario Region. He is a frequent speaker and participant in economic panels including the Premier of Ontario's Economic Roundtable.

Wade Oosterman

Mr. Wade Oosterman is President – Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services and Chief Brand Officer of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc. As President of Bell Mobility, Wade Oosterman leads Bell Canada’s wireless business, retail and distribution channels. As Chief Brand Officer, Mr. Oosterman leads the strategy and direction of one of Canada’s most trusted and recognized brands. A 20-year veteran of the telecom industry, Mr. Oosterman began his career in telecommunications as an executive with Bell Cellular Distribution Services Inc., which became the sales agent for Bell Mobility’s predecessor company, Bell Cellular. Mr. Oosterman was also instrumental in the national build outs of two fast-growing wireless carriers, Clearnet and Telus Mobility. He served as Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing and was a Board member at Clearnet communications until 2000, when the Company was acquired by Telus Corp. He then became Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing for Telus Mobility and Chief Marketing Officer for Telus. Mr. Oosterman holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and is a Director of the Foundation Fighting Blindness – Canada.

Martine Turcotte

Ms. Martine Turcotte is Vice Chairman, Québec of Bce Inc., and Bell Canada, a subsidiary of the company. She was appointed Chief Legal Officer of BCE Inc. in June 1999. She first joined BCE in August 1988 as Legal Counsel and has held numerous positions in the BCE group with Bell Canada International, BCE Media and Bell Canada. Ms. Turcotte holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the London Business School, a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) and Common Law (LL.B.) from McGill University and is a member of the Quebec Bar Association. She is Member of the Board of Directors and the Financing Committee of Théâtre Espace Go Inc., a board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and a member of the UBC Dean’s Advisory Committee for the National Center of Business Law.

Bernard le Duc

Mr. Bernard le Duc is Executive Vice President - Corporate Services of Bce Inc., and Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc. Mr. le Duc has a held a series of senior level positions in his 11 years with Bell. As the recent Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources, he took the lead in enhancing HR operations, focusing on ensuring that the talent and potential of every team member can be realized. Mr. le Duc has also led the development of Bell’s program for mental health in the workplace. Previously Bell’s Senior VP, Finance, Mr. le Duc oversaw a wide range of finance activities including planning and performance management, capital management and investor relations. He has been involved in some of the projects at Bell over the years, including the creation of Bell Aliant, the sale of Telesat, and the effort to privatize BCE. Prior to Bell, Mr. le Duc held management positions at Bombardier Transportation, Booz Allen & Hamilton Managing Consulting, and The Dow Chemical Company. He holds a Master of Engineering (Chemical engineering) from Imperial College, University of London, and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, in France.

Michael Cole

Mr. Michael Cole is Executive Vice-President and Chief Information Officer of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc. He previously held the position of SVP, Bell Canada Operations – Mass Markets, where his team provided customer field services support (installation, repair) and network services support (cable repair and central office) for Mass Markets and Enterprise and Wholesale markets across Ontario and Quebec regions. Mr. Cole started his career with Bell Canada in 1991, after graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Princeton University. He has worked in groups within Bell Canada, including Network and Customer Operations, Business Planning and Information Systems and Consumer Wireline Products and Marketing. Mr. Cole is also active in the community. He supports the Bell Canada community development program as an executive sponsor for Markham and York Region. He also participates on the Advisory Board for the Masters in Engineering in Telecommunications program at the University of Toronto. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto.

Mary Turcke

Ms. Mary Ann Turcke is Executive Vice-President - Field Operations of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc . Ms. Turcke leads Bell’s Fields Services group, having previously served as Vice-President, Customer Experience and Operations – Small Medium Business (SMB), where her team provided support for all SMB customers through call centres, technical help desks and dedicated service consultants. Ms. Turcke graduated in Civil Engineering at Queen’s University in 1988 and began her career in the construction industry, designing and building roads and bridges for the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario. She also holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Business Administration from Queen’s University. After her MBA, Ms. Turcke worked with A.T. Kearney Management Consultants consulting to clients primarily in the railroad industry. She left A.T. Kearney to become Vice President of Operations & General Manager of Canada for Internet Pictures Corporation (iPIX) a technology firm based in Palo Alto, California. Just prior to joining Bell Canada, she held executive operations roles in a number of small start-up companies in the outsourcing and software development areas. Ms. Turcke has been active in the community. Currently, she sits on the Board of the Tarragon Theatre and is the Bell Canada executive sponsor in Kingston.

John Watson

Mr. John Watson is Executive Vice President - Customer Operations of Bell Canada , a subsidiary of Bce Inc. Mr. Watson is a senior executive with more than 15 years of experience in Canadian communications, previously serving as president of the consumer division of one of Canada's telecom companies. Mr. Watson joined Bell Mobility earlier this year as senior vice-president, operations, quickly applying his strategic experience in service, retention and distribution channel operations by introducing new programs and tools enabling Bell team members and channel partners to deliver an enhanced wireless customer experience at every level.

Alain Dussault

David Denison

Mr. David F. Denison, FCA, is Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Denison served as President and CEO of the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Investment Board from 2005 to 2012. Prior to his appointment to the CPP Investment Board, Mr. Denison was President of Fidelity Investments Canada Limited. Mr. Denison serves as a Director at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and as a member of the World Bank Treasury Advisory Committee. He is a director of The United Way of Greater Toronto, and a member of the Toronto Community Foundation Investment Committee and the University of Toronto Investment Advisory Committee. A chartered accountant, Mr. Denison holds a Bachelor degree in mathematics and education from the University of Toronto and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

Barry Allen

Mr. Barry K. Allen is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Allen is currently a Senior Advisor of Providence Equity Partners (a private equity firm focused on media, entertainment, communications and information investments). Prior to joining Providence in 2007, he was Executive Vice-President of Operations of Qwest Communications International. Before his retirement from Qwest in June 2007, Mr. Allen was responsible for the company’s network and information technology operations. Prior to being named Executive Vice-President of Operations in March 2004, he served as Qwest’s Executive Vice-President of Operations and Chief Human Resources Officer. In addition, from January 2003 until the present, Mr. Allen has served as President of Allen Enterprises, a private equity investment and management company he founded. Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kentucky and an M.B.A. from Boston University.

Andre Berard

The Honorable Andre Berard, O.C., is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Bérard was Chair of the Board of National Bank of Canada (chartered bank) from 2002 to March 2004, and Chair of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of National Bank of Canada from 1990 to March 2002. He holds a Fellows Diploma from the Institute of Canadian Bankers and was Chair of the Executive Council of the Canadian Bankers’ Association from 1986 to 1988. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 1995.

Ronald Brenneman

Mr. Ronald Alvin Brenneman is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Brenneman was Executive Vice-Chairman, Suncor Energy Inc. (integrated energy company) from August 2009 until February 2010 and was President and Chief Executive Officer of Petro-Canada (petroleum company) from 2000 until August 2009. Before January 2000, Mr. Brenneman spent more than 30 years with Imperial Oil Limited and its parent company, Exxon Corporation (both petroleum companies). He was a member of the board of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives until July 2009. Mr. Brenneman holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a MSc in Control Systems from the University of Manchester.

Sophie Brochu

Ms. Sophie Brochu is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Ms. Brochu has been a director on the BCE board of directors since May 2010. Ms. Brochu has been active in the energy industry for more than 25 years. She began her career in 1987 as a financial analyst for SOQUIP (Société québécoise d’initiatives pétrolières). In 1997, she joined Gaz Métro Inc., as Vice President, Business Development. In 2005, Ms. Brochu was appointed Executive Vice-President. Since 2007, she has held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Gaz Métro Inc. and is a member of the Board of Directors. She is also a director and member of the audit committee of Bank of Montréal. Ms. Brochu graduated in economics from Université Laval, in Québec City, where she specialized in the energy sector. She is the Chair of Forces Avenir which promotes student involvement in their communities. Ms. Brochu is actively involved with Centraide of Greater Montreal. She co-founded “80, ruelle de l’Avenir”, a project aimed at encouraging students in the Centre-Sud and Hochelaga neighbourhoods of Montréal to remain in school.

Robert Brown

Mr. Robert E. Brown is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Brown is Chairman of Groupe Aeroplan Inc. and was President and Chief Executive Officer of CAE Inc. (a provider of simulation and modelling technologies as well as integrated training service for both civil aviation and defence customers) from August 2004 to September 2009. Prior to joining CAE Inc., Mr. Brown was Chairman of Air Canada during its restructuring from May 2003 to October 2004. Mr. Brown joined Bombardier Inc. in 1987 and was responsible for the Bombardier Aerospace sector from 1990 to 1999. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Bombardier Inc. (aerospace, transportation and recreational products) from 1999 to 2002. Mr. Brown also held senior positions in federal ministries with economic vocations, including the position of Associate Deputy Minister of the Department of Regional Industrial Expansion. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Royal Military College and attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard University Business School.

Anthony Fell

Mr. Anthony Smithson Fell, O.C., is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Fell is a former Deputy Chairman of Royal Bank of Canada. He was with RBC Capital Markets (investment bank) and predecessor companies for 48 years including 18 years as Chief Executive Officer and a further 8 years as Chairman until his retirement in 2007. Mr. Fell is a past Chairman of Munich Reinsurance Company of Canada and past Chairman of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada and a past Governor of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Mr. Fell is also a past Chairman of the University Health Network, the United Way Campaign for Metropolitan Toronto, the Princess Margaret Hospital Capital Campaign and is a past Governor of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Program in Canada, St. Andrew’s College and the Ontario Division of the Canadian Arthritis Society. Mr. Fell was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2001 and received an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from McMaster University in 2001and from the University of Toronto in 2006 and was inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame in 2010.

Edward Lumley

The Honourable Edward C. Lumley, LL.D., P.C., is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Lumley has been Vice-Chairman of BMO Capital Markets (investment bank) and its predecessor companies since 1991. From 1986 to 1991 Mr. Lumley served as Chair of the Noranda Manufacturing Group of companies. Prior to returning to the private sector, from 1974-1984 Mr. Lumley was a Member of Parliament during which time he held various cabinet portfolios in the Government of Canada, including Minister of Industry, International Trade, Communications and Science and Technology. Mr. Lumley is the Chancellor of the University of Windsor where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce.

P. E. James Prentice

The Honourable P. E. James Prentice, P.C., Q.C., is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Prentice is responsible for expanding CIBC’s (chartered bank) relationships with corporate clients across Canada and abroad, and with providing leadership on strategic initiatives to enhance CIBC’s position in the market. Mr. Prentice is well known for his contribution to public life in Canada. He was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Calgary Centre North in 2004 and re-elected in 2006 and 2008. From January 2006 until November 2010 he was one of the most senior Ministers in the Canadian Government, serving variously as the Minister of Industry, the Minister of the Environment and the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development. In addition, Mr. Prentice chaired the Operations Committee of Cabinet and sat on the Priorities and Planning Committee from 2006 through November 2010. Prior to entering public office, Mr. Prentice practiced law in Calgary, specializing in commercial law and property rights. He served as the Co-Chair of the Indian Claims Commission of Canada from 1993 until 2000. He graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1977 and then entered Dalhousie Law School as a Dunn Scholar, graduating with his Bachelor of Laws in 1980. Mr. Prentice was designated a Queen’s Counsel in 1992.

Robert Simmonds

Mr. Robert C. Simmonds is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Robert is a seasoned Canadian telecommunications executive who has served in public company roles from 1994 to 2006. From 1985 until 2000, he served as Chairman of Clearnet Communications Inc., a Canadian wireless competitor that launched two all-new digital mobile networks. He became the Chairman of Lenbrook Corporation (national distributor of electronics components and radio products) in 2002, having been a founder and director of the company since 1977. Internationally regarded as a wireless communications engineer and mobile spectrum authority, Mr. Simmonds has played a key role in the development of Canada’s mobile spectrum policies for more than 30 years. He is an executive with the Radio Advisory Board of Canada (RABC), the body that provides unbiased and technically advice to the federal Department of Industry, and is a past Chair of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA). A laureate and member of Canada’s Telecommunications Hall of Fame and recipient of the Engineering Medal for Entrepreneurship from Professional Engineers Ontario, Mr. Simmonds earned his B.A. Sc. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto.

Carole Taylor

The Honourable Carole S. Taylor is Independent Director of Bce Inc. From December 2008 to January 2010, Ms. Taylor served as Chair of the Federal Finance Minister’s Economic Advisory Council. Ms. Taylor was also Senior Advisor for Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (law firm) until September 2010. She served as Minister of Finance for British Columbia from June 2005 to June 2008. In May 2005, Ms. Taylor was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia to represent the riding of Vancouver-Langara. From July 2001 to March 2005, she served as Chair of CBC/Radio-Canada. She is the Chancellor of Simon Fraser University. Ms. Taylor earned her B.A. in English at the University of Toronto’s Victoria College.

Paul Weiss

Mr. Paul Raymond Weiss, FCA, is Independent Director of Bce Inc. Mr. Weiss is director and audit committee Chair at ING Bank of Canada and a director of Empire Life Insurance Company. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of Soulpepper Theatre Company, a director of Niagara International Music Festival and past Chair and director of Toronto Rehab Foundation. For over 40 years, until his retirement in 2008, he was with KPMG Canada. He served as Managing Partner of the Canadian Audit Practice, a member of KPMG Canada’s Management Committee, and a member of the International Global Audit Steering Group. Mr. Weiss holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University.
