Name Description

Thomas O'Neill

Mr. Thomas Charles O'Neill is an Independent Chairman of the Board of BCE Inc. and Bell Canada, a subsidiary of the company. Mr. O’Neill has been Chair of BCE and Bell Canada since February 2009. He held a number of positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (an accounting firm) and its related entities until 2002, including CEO and Chair of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, COO of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Global and CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Canada. Mr. O’Neill serves as Chair of St. Michael’s Hospital, where he has served on the Board since 2003. He is a former Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Queen’s University and is a member of the Advisory Board of Queen’s University School of Business. Mr. O’Neill graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Fellow of CPA Ontario. He received an Honorary LLD from Queen’s University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors. In September 2013, Mr. O’Neill received the ICAO Award of Outstanding Merit, the highest honour from CPA Ontario.

George Cope

Mr. George Alexander Cope is the President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Bce Inc., and President and Chief Executive Officer of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of the Company. Mr. Cope has served as President and CEO of BCE and Bell Canada since July 2008. He was previously President and COO of Bell Canada. A seasoned Canadian communications executive. Mr. Cope had served in public-company CEO roles in the industry for more than 15 years prior to joining Bell in 2005. Mr. Cope holds an Honors Business Administration degree from Western University and serves on the Advisory Board of the university’s Ivey Business School. Mr. Cope is a Member of the Order of Canada.

Glen LeBlanc

Mr. Glen LeBlanc has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of BCE Inc and Bell Canada Inc., the Subsidiary of BCE Inc. effective 30 April 2015. He has served more than 2 decades of his finance career with Bell Aliant and its predecessor companies. Joining Aliant in 1993, he held increasingly senior executive positions before being appointed Vice President, Finance and Controller in 2000 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2005. Recognized as one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40, Mr. LeBlanc has served on the board of Certified Management Accountants of Nova Scotia since 2005 and chairs the Creating Champions campaign at Cape Breton University.

Charles Brown

Mr. Charles W. Brown is President – The Source (Bell) Electronics, Inc. of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of BCE Inc and Independent Director of the company. He is an innovative business leader with more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunication and cable communications industries. In May 2009 he was promoted to Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for Bell. He is currently integrating Bell products and services into The Source retail operations with more than 750 stores across Canada, expanding Bell’s competitive position. He was also Bell’s lead executive in charge of providing full telecommunication services to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Charles began his career with Bell in 1980 as a sales representative and held management positions in marketing and business development with BCE Mobile and Bell Mobility. Charles returned to Bell in 2006. When Bell expanded its SMB business unit in 2008, consolidating Bell’s small and medium commercial customers in Ontario and Québec with those in Western Canada, Charles was recognized for his strategic thinking and appointed President of this key business area. In addition to his responsibilities with Bell, Charles also sits on the Board for Axia NetMedia, and is Chairman of the Board for The Source.

Rizwan Jamal

Mr. Rizwan Jamal has been appointed as President - Bell Residential Services of BCE Inc., with effect from 9 April 2015. Formerly Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for BRS, Mr. Jamal has built a strong track record of success in customer service excellence and product innovation in his 20-year career in Canadian communications. Joining Bell in 2010 as Vice President, Client Experience, Mr. Jamal was later promoted to Senior VP of Sales, Marketing and Product Development for BRS. Named CMO in 2014, Mr. Jamal has successfully leveraged Bell's broadband fibre advantage to support the strong success of Bell TV, Internet and other residential services across Ontario, Québec and Atlantic Canada. Mr. Jamal holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Blaik Kirby

Mr. Blaik Kirby has been appointed as President - Bell Mobility of BCE Inc., with effect from 9 April 2015. Formerly Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Bell's wireless business unit, Mr. Kirby has successfully guided the Bell Mobility team to the industry lead in smartphone, data usage and revenue growth. With a strong record of success in executive roles in the North American communications sector spanning 25 years, Mr. Kirby joined Bell in 2005 as Vice President of Corporate Strategy for BCE and led Bell's 100 Day Plan as part of the company's strategic transformation in 2008. He served as Senior VP of Marketing and Sales for Mobility before his appointment as CMO in 2014 – and originally worked as a repair technician for Bell Canada in 1986. Mr. Kirby holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University, a Master of Engineering from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Engineering Science from Western.

Thomas Little

Mr. Thomas Little is President – Bell Business Markets of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. As President - Wholesale, Tom Little is accountable for 700 professionals involved in managing and administering Bell’s wholesale activities. With more than 25 years’ experience building and companies, Tom joined Bell in 2009. After graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1984, he joined Ernst and Young. He was admitted to the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1986. In 1986, Tom joined VenGrowth Capital Funds, a Canadian venture capital fund. From 1990 to 1995, Tom was Vice President of OMD, a high technology medical equipment distributor. He was responsible for administration, operations, the field service organization and critical care sales. In 1995, Tom became one of the founders and Executive Vice President of Dicomit Dicom Information Technologies, a company providing technology to healthcare system manufacturers. Responsible for all operations and general management, he strategically focused the company on the Original Equipment Manufacturer market, raised equity financings, hired and motivated the management team, drove revenue and sold key accounts globally. The company was sold to a NASDAQ listed buyer. From 2002 to 2009, Tom was President and CEO of VisualSonics Inc., a global life sciences technology company which he focused on the research market. He led equity financings, built a winning management team and implemented a direct global sales force in the U.S. and Europe. In 2005, Tom was named the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Life Sciences, Ontario Region. He is a frequent speaker and participant in economic panels including the Premier of Ontario's Economic Roundtable.

Wade Oosterman

Mr. Wade Oosterman is Group President - Bell Canada and BCE, Chief Brand Officer of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. As President of Bell Mobility and Residential Services since 2010, Mr. Oosterman has led Bell's remarkable return to marketplace success in wireless, Internet and TV services. He joined Bell in 2006 as President of Bell Mobility and Chief Brand Officer. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business at Western University, and serves as a director of Ingram Micro and of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

Mary Turcke

Ms. Mary Ann Turcke has been appointed as President - Bell Media of BCE Inc. Prior to that she was Executive Vice-President - Field Operations of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of BCE Inc . Ms. Turcke leads Bell’s Fields Services group, having previously served as Vice-President, Customer Experience and Operations – Small Medium Business (SMB), where her team provided support for all SMB customers through call centres, technical help desks and dedicated service consultants. Ms. Turcke graduated in Civil Engineering at Queen’s University in 1988 and began her career in the construction industry, designing and building roads and bridges for the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario. She also holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Business Administration from Queen’s University. After her MBA, Ms. Turcke worked with A.T. Kearney Management Consultants consulting to clients primarily in the railroad industry. She left A.T. Kearney to become Vice President of Operations & General Manager of Canada for Internet Pictures Corporation (iPIX) a technology firm based in Palo Alto, California. Just prior to joining Bell Canada, she held executive operations roles in a number of small start-up companies in the outsourcing and software development areas.

Martine Turcotte

Ms. Martine Turcotte is the Vice Chairman, Quebec of Bce Inc., and Bell Canada, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. She was appointed Chief Legal Officer of BCE Inc. in June 1999. She first joined BCE in August 1988 as Legal Counsel and has held numerous positions in the BCE group with Bell Canada International, BCE Media and Bell Canada. Ms. Turcotte holds a Masters of Business Administration from the London Business School, a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) and Common Law (LL.B.) from McGill University and is a member of the Quebec Bar Association. She is Member of the Board of Directors and the Financing Committee of Théâtre Espace Go Inc., a board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and a member of the UBC Dean’s Advisory Committee for the National Center of Business Law.

Bernard le Duc

Mr. Bernard le Duc is Executive Vice President - Corporate Services of BCE Inc. and Bell Canada, a subsidiary of Bce Inc. Mr. le Duc has a held a series of senior level positions in his 11 years with Bell. As the recent Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources, he took the lead in enhancing HR operations, focusing on ensuring that the talent and potential of every team member can be realized. Mr. le Duc has also led the development of Bell’s program for mental health in the workplace. Previously Bell’s Senior VP, Finance, Mr. le Duc oversaw a wide range of finance activities including planning and performance management, capital management and investor relations. He has been involved in some of the projects at Bell over the years, including the creation of Bell Aliant, the sale of Telesat, and the effort to privatize BCE. Prior to Bell, Mr. le Duc held management positions at Bombardier Transportation, Booz Allen & Hamilton Managing Consulting, and The Dow Chemical Company. He holds a Master of Engineering (Chemical engineering) from Imperial College, University of London, and an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, in France.

Michael Cole

Mr. Michael Cole is an Executive Vice-President and Chief Information Officer of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. He previously held the position of SVP, Bell Canada Operations – Mass Markets, where his team provided customer field services support (installation, repair) and network services support (cable repair and central office) for Mass Markets and Enterprise and Wholesale markets across Ontario and Quebec regions. Mr. Cole started his career with Bell Canada in 1991, after graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Princeton University. He has worked in groups within Bell Canada, including Network and Customer Operations, Business Planning and Information Systems and Consumer Wireline Products and Marketing. Mr. Cole is also active in the community. He supports the Bell Canada community development program as an executive sponsor for Markham and York Region. He also participates on the Advisory Board for the Masters in Engineering in Telecommunications program at the University of Toronto. He holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto.

Mr. Stephen Howe is an Executive Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer of Bell Canada, a subsidairy of BCE Inc.

John Watson

Mr. John Watson is Executive Vice-President – Customer Experience of Bell Canada, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. Mr. Watson is a senior executive with more than 15 years of experience in Canadian communications, previously serving as president of the consumer division of one of Canada's telecom companies. Mr. Watson joined Bell Mobility earlier this year as senior vice-president, operations, quickly applying his strategic experience in service, retention and distribution channel operations by introducing new programs and tools enabling Bell team members and channel partners to deliver an enhanced wireless customer experience at every level.

Barry Allen

Mr. Barry K. Allen is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Mr. Allen is an Operating Partner of Providence Equity Partners LLC (a private equity firm focused on media, entertainment, communications and information investments). Prior to joining Providence in 2007, he was Executive Vice-President of Operations of Qwest Communications International (a telecommunications company), responsible for the company’s network and information technology operations and, prior to 2004, Executive Vice-President of Operations and Chief Human Resources Officer. In addition, since 2000, Mr. Allen has served as President of Allen Enterprises, LLC, a private equity investment and management company he founded. Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky and an M.B.A. from Boston University.

Ronald Brenneman

Mr. Ronald Alvin Brenneman is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Mr. Brenneman is a corporate director and was Executive Vice-Chairman, Suncor Energy Inc. (an integrated energy company) from August 2009 until February 2010 and was President and CEO of Petro-Canada (a petroleum company) from 2000 until August 2009. Before 2000, Mr. Brenneman spent more than 30 years with Imperial Oil Limited and its parent company, Exxon Mobil Corporation (both petroleum companies). He was a member of the board of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives until July 2009. Mr. Brenneman holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a M.Sc. in Control Systems from the University of Manchester.

Sophie Brochu

Ms. Sophie Brochu is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Ms. Brochu has been active in the energy industry for more than 25 years. She began her career in 1987 as a financial analyst for SOQUIP (Société québécoise d’initiatives pétrolières). In 1997, she joined Gaz Métro Inc. (a diversified energy company), as Vice-President, Business Development. In 2005, Ms. Brochu was appointed Executive Vice-President. Since 2007, she has held the position of President and CEO of Gaz Métro Inc. and is a member of its Board of Directors. Ms. Brochu graduated in Economics from Université Laval, in Québec City, where she specialized in the energy sector. Ms. Brochu is actively involved with Centraide of Greater Montreal. She is also a director of Fondation Chagnon. She is the Chair of Forces Avenir, which promotes students’ involvement in their communities. She co-founded “80, ruelle de l’Avenir”, a project aimed at encouraging students in the Centre-Sud and Hochelaga neighbourhoods of Montréal to stay in school.

Robert Brown

Mr. Robert E. Brown is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Mr. Brown is a corporate director and Chair of Aimia Inc. (formerly Groupe Aeroplan Inc., a loyalty program management company). He was President and CEO of CAE Inc. (a provider of simulation and modelling technologies as well as integrated training services for both civil aviation and defence customers) from 2004 to September 2009. Prior to joining CAE, Mr. Brown was Chair of Air Canada (an airline) during its restructuring from May 2003 to October 2004. Mr. Brown joined Bombardier Inc. (an aerospace, transportation and recreational products company) in 1987 and was responsible for the Bombardier Aerospace sector from 1990 to 1999. He was President and CEO of Bombardier Inc. from 1999 to 2002. Mr. Brown also held various senior positions in federal ministries with economic vocations, including the position of Associate Deputy Minister of the Department of Regional Industrial Expansion. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Royal Military College and attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard University Business School.

David Denison

Mr. David F. Denison, FCPA, FCA, is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Mr. Denison has been a director of BCE since October 2012. Mr. Denison has extensive experience in the financial services industry, most recently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board from 2005 to 2012. He has been a director of the Royal Bank of Canada since 2012, and a director of Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. since 2013. He serves as Chair of Bentall Kennedy Limited Partnership (a real estate investment advisor) and Vice-Chair of Sinai Health Systems (a provider of healthcare services). Prior to his appointment to the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Mr. Denison was President of Fidelity Investments Canada Limited (a financial services provider). He has also held a number of senior positions in the investment banking, asset management and consulting sectors in Canada, the United States and Europe. Mr. Denison is a member of the Investment Board and International Advisory Committee of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, the China Investment Corporation International Advisory Council, the World Bank Treasury Expert Advisory Committee and the University of Toronto Investment Advisory Committee. Mr. Denison earned bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and education from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Fellow of CPA Ontario.

Robert Dexter

Mr. Robert P. Dexter is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. since November 2014. He holds both a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a bachelor’s degree in law from Dalhousie University and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1995. He is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Travel Inc. and is also counsel to the law firm Stewart McKelvey. He is Chair of Sobeys Inc. and Empire Company Limited and is also a director of Wajax Corporation and High Liner Foods Incorporated. He is a past audit committee member of each of these companies, in addition to the audit committee of Bell Aliant Inc. Mr. Dexter has over 15 years of experience in the communications sector, having served as a director of Maritime Tel & Tel Limited from 1997 to 1999 prior to joining the Aliant Inc. board and later the Bell Aliant boards until October 2014.

Ian Greenberg

Mr. Ian Greenberg is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Mr. Greenberg has been a director of BCE since July 2013. From 1995 until July 2013, Mr. Greenberg is a corporate director and one of four brothers who founded Astral Media Inc. (a media company), which, over its 50-year history, grew from a photographic company into one of Canada’s leaders in pay- and specialty-TV, radio, out-of-home advertising and digital media. He was President and CEO of Astral Media Inc. from 1995 until July 2013, during which time the company achieved 16 consecutive years of profitable growth. Born in Montréal, he is a member of the Broadcasting Hall of Fame and a recipient of the prestigious Ted Rogers and Velma Rogers Graham Award for his unique contribution to the Canadian broadcasting system. With his brothers, he also received the Eleanor Roosevelt Humanities Award for their active support of numerous industry and charitable organizations. Mr. Greenberg was a member of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and a governor of Montréal’s Jewish General Hospital.

Gordon Nixon

Mr. Gordon M. Nixon is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. since November 5, 2014. President and Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Bank of Canada from August 2001 to August 2014, Mr. Nixon is a corporate director and from August 2001 to August 2014 was President and CEO of Royal Bank of Canada (a chartered bank). He first joined RBC Dominion Securities Inc. (an investment banking firm) in 1979, where he held a number of operating positions, serving as CEO from December 1999 to April 2001. Mr. Nixon is Chair of MaRS, a Toronto-based network of partners that helps entrepreneurs launch and grow innovative companies. He also chairs the Queen’s University Capital Campaign. In 2012, he chaired the Ontario Premier’s Jobs and Prosperity Council. Mr. Nixon earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University and holds Honorary Doctorates of Laws from Queen’s University and Dalhousie University. He is a member of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario.

Robert Simmonds

Mr. Robert C. Simmonds is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Mr. Simmonds has been Chair of Lenbrook Corporation (a national distributor of electronics components and radio products) since 2002, having been a founder and director of the company since 1977. He is a seasoned Canadian telecommunications executive who has served in public company roles from 1994 to 2006. From 1985 until 2000, he served as Chair of Clearnet Communications Inc., a Canadian wireless competitor that launched two all-new digital mobile networks. Internationally regarded as a leading wireless communications engineer and mobile spectrum authority, Mr. Simmonds has played a key role in the development of Canada’s mobile spectrum policies for more than 30 years. He is Chair of the Mobile and Personal Communications Committee of the Radio Advisory Board of Canada, a body that provides unbiased and technically expert advice to the federal Department of Industry, and is a past Chair of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA). A laureate and member of Canada’s Telecommunications Hall of Fame and recipient of the Engineering Medal for Entrepreneurship from Professional Engineers Ontario, Mr. Simmonds earned his B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science (Electrical) at the University of Toronto. In October 2013, Mr. Simmonds became a Fellow of the Wireless World Research Forum (an organization dedicated to long-term research in the wireless industry) in recognition of his contribution to the industry.

Carole Taylor

Ms. Carole S. Taylor is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Ms. Taylor is a corporate director and a member of the Trilateral Commission (a non-governmental international organization). She served as Chair of the Federal Finance Minister’s Economic Advisory Council from December 2008 to January 2010 and Minister of Finance for British Columbia from June 2005 to June 2008. Ms. Taylor was also Senior Advisor for Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (a law firm) until September 2010. Ms. Taylor is the former Chair of CBC/Radio-Canada, former Chair of Canada Ports, a public affairs broadcaster, Chancellor Emeritus of Simon Fraser University and Officer of the Order of Canada. Ms. Taylor holds four honorary degrees and earned her B.A. in English at University of Toronto’s Victoria College.

Paul Weiss

Mr. Paul Raymond Weiss is an Independent Director of BCE Inc. Mr. Weiss has been a corporate director since 2008. He was a director and audit committee member of The Empire Life Insurance Company until May 2014 and a director and audit committee member of ING Bank of Canada until November 2012. He is a director and past Chair of Soulpepper Theatre Company and past Chair of Toronto Rehab Foundation. For over 40 years, until his retirement in 2008, Mr. Weiss was with KPMG LLP (an accounting firm). He served as Managing Partner of the Canadian Audit Practice, a member of KPMG Canada’s Management Committee, and a member of the International Global Audit Steering Group. Mr. Weiss holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Fellow of CPA Ontario.
