Vasco Maria Guimaraes Jose de Mello

 Mr. Vasco Maria Guimaraes Jose de Mello has served as the Chairman of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer of Brisa Auto Estradas de Portugal SA since 2000. He also serves as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Company. He served as Vice Chairman of the High Council of Banco Comercial Portugues from 2000 to 2007, as Member of the Supervisory Board of Bank Millennium, Poland from 2005 to 2007, and as Member of the Board of Directors of Abertis, Barcelona from 2003 to 2007. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Jose de Mello SGPS SA, Member of the General and Supervisory Board of EDP - Energias de Portugal SA, Chairman of the Founding Council of Council CRP, Centro Rodoviario Portugues, Member of the Board of Directors of Sogefi, Sociedade de Gestao e Financiamentos SGPS SA, among others. From 1991 to 2000, he held the positions of Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of directors of Banco Mello, of Banco Mello de Investimentos and Companhia de Seguros Imperio, as well as Vice Chairman of Jose de Mello SGPS. He was also Member of the Strategic Board of CTT, Correios de Portugal SA. He graduated in Business Administration from Schiller International University in 1978.  Mr. Joao Pedro Ribeiro de Azevedo Coutinho has served as an Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Brisa Auto Estradas de Portugal SA since 1999.
