Nicholas Ferguson |
Mr. Nicholas E. H. Ferguson has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC., with effect from 3 April 2012. He has experience in leadership roles in the finance sector. Co-founder and instrumental in the development of Schroder Ventures (the private equity group which later became Permira) of which he served as Chairman from 1984 to 2001. Prior to his appointment as Chairman of the Company on 3 April 2012, Mr Ferguson served as Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Non-executive Director. Mr Ferguson has been Chairman of SVG Capital plc, a publically quoted private equity group, since April 2005 and has served as a Director of the company since 1996. His chairmanships in the notfor- profit sector include the Courtauld Institute of Art. |
