Roque Eduardo Benavides Ganoza

 Mr. Roque Eduardo Benavides Ganoza serves as Chief Executive Officer, Executive President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA. He is also Member of the Company’s Governance and Nominating Committees. He was appointed Chairman of the Company’s Board on March 25, 2011. He has been Board Member of the Company since July 22, 2004 and Chief Financial Officer from 1985 to February 22, 2001, when he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that time, he served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Board from 1980 to 1985 and as Project Engineer from 1977 to 1979. He has also been Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha since 1992 and General Manager of Recuperada SA. He has served as Executive Officer and Director of some of the Company’s mining and mining-related subsidiaries or affiliates. In addition, he has served as Director of the National Association of Minerals, Petroleum and Energy since 1988 and Chairman of the Board from 1993 to 1995. He acted as Chairman of the National Confederation of Private Companies (CONFIEP) from 1999 to March 2001. In 2001, he was appointed Vice Chairman of the World Gold Council. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in 1977 and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Henley, The Management College of Brunnel University in 1980. He completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School in 1985 and the Advanced Management Program at Templeton College of Oxford University in 1997.

 Mr. Carlos Ernesto Galvez Pinillos has served as Vice President of Finance and Administration of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA since February 22, 2001. He joined the Company in 1978. He acted as Deputy Manager of Finance and Information Systems of the Company from 1985 to February 22, 2001. Since March 2003, he has also been Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha. He served as Deputy Manager of the Company’s Treasury from 1980 to 1985 and as Treasurer from 1978 to 1980. He has also served as Director of the Colquirrumi and Coimolache, two of the Company’s subsidiaries, and was appointed Director of Conenhua in 2000, Director of El Brocal in 2002, of Contacto SA in 2005, and Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha in 2003. He has also served as Director of the Sociedad de Mineria, Petroleo y Energia del Peru since 2000. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Managerial Adjunct for Finance and Credit from 1977 to 1978 at Banco Minero del Peru. He has also served as a Board Member of the Committee of Economic Operation of the National Electric System. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in 1976, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Universidad del Pacifico in 1980 and completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School in 1997.

Francois Muths Cardenas

 Mr. Francois Antoine Eugene Muths Cardenas serves as Vice President of Operations of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA. He was appointed to this post on February 2, 2007. Prior to that, he acted as Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager of Inversiones Mineras del Sur SA from 2005 till 2006. In addition, he held the position of General Manager from 1985 to 2005 and Superintendent of Uchucchacua Mine from 1981 to 1983. He has worked at the Company for 33 years holding various posts, such as Director and General Manager at Inversiones Mineras del Sur SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. Jose Alejandro Hermoza Maravi

 Mr. Jose Alejandro Hermoza Maravi has served as Vice President of Social and Environmental Affairs of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA since September 2, 2008. He joined the Company in 2003. He worked as Deputy Chief Administrative and Human Resources Officer of the Company. He has worked as Director of Development of National Confederation of Private Business (CONFIEP). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, a Masters degree in Engineering from the same university, as well as a Masters degree in Administration from Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC).

Cesar Vidal Cobian

 Mr. Cesar E. Vidal Cobian serves as Vice President of Explorations of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA. He has held this post since January 2, 1996. He has also acted as Director of El Brocal and Coimolache. From 1981 to 1987, he served as Geologist for BISA. Prior to joining the Company, from 1991 to 1995, he served as Independent Economic Geologist Consultant to several mining companies, including the Company. From 1987 to 1991, he served as Chief Geologist for Perubar SA. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniera (UNI) in 1977 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Geology from the University of Liverpool in 1980.  Mr. Raul Eduardo Pedro Benavides Ganoza has been Vice President of Business Development of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA since July 1, 1997. He has also served as Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacoha and Board Member of several of the Company’s subsidiaries. From 1984 to 1996 he was Manager of the Orcopampa Mine. Prior to that time, he was Manager of Operations from 1983 to 1984 and Chief of Mining from 1980 to 1983 at Colquirrumi. Since 1995, he has been Professor of Mining Administration at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. In addition, he has served as Vice President of the Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas since 1994 and was also President of the Instituto de Seguridad Minera del Peru from 1996 to 2000. He was Member of the Consulting Board for the National Occupational Safety Association from 2003 to 2004. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1980, a Master of Science degree in Mineral Engineering and Management from Pennsylvania State University in 1984 and completed the Advanced Management Program at The Harvard Business School in 2001.

 Mr. Jose Miguel Morales Dasso has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA since July 31, 2012. He has acted also as Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha since 1995.  Mr. Carlos W. del Solar Simpson serves as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA since March 25, 2011. He has also been Member of the Company’s Nominating and Governance Committees since March 25, 2011. He has experience in Geological Exploration and Mining. From 1998 to 2001 he served as President and Chief Executive Officer at ARCO for Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Trinidad. Since 2001 he is in charge of Oil Hunt activities in Peru as President and Chief Executive Officer. He was President of The National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE) from 2005 to 2006 and First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Confederation of Private Business (CONFIEP) from 2007 to 2008. Since March 2010 he has served as Second Vice Chairman of the Committee of Peruvian Exporters (COMEXPERU) as well as Member of the Board and Executive Committee of SNMPE and COMEXPERU. He holds a degree in Engineering and Geology from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and a Master of Science degree from Stanford University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program of Universidad de Piura.

Felipe Arturo Ortiz-de-Zevallos Madueno

 Mr. Felipe Arturo Ortiz-de-Zevallos Madueno serves as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA. He was appointed to this post on March 25, 2011 and has been on the Company’s Board since August 27, 2003. He acts also as Member of the Company's Audit and Nominating Committees, as well as he is Chairman of the Company's Governance and Compensation Committees since March 25, 2011. He serves as Ambassador of Peru in the United States of North America. In addition, he was named Vice Chancellor of Universidad del Pacifico de Lima for the term between June 15, 2004, and June 15, 2009. Aubrey Paverd Woodhouse

 Dr. Aubrey Laurence Paverd Woodhouse serves as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA. He was appointed to this post on March 25, 2011, and has been on the Company's Board since March 26, 2002. He is also Member of the Company's Audit, Nominating and Governance Committees. He has been Private Consultant based in Melbourne, Australia. From 1994 to 2000, he held the position of Group Executive Exploration with North Ltd. His career with Newmont Mining Corporation spanned 21 years. He began as Chief Geologist of South Africa in 1973, moving to the positions of Chief Geologist at Tsumeb Corporation Ltd, Namibia, a subsidiary of Newmont, to Assistant to the Vice President of Exploration in New York in 1979, Director of Foreign Exploration in 1981 and ultimately Vice President of Exploration when he left Newmont in 1994. He was also Lecturer in Geology at Rhodes University during 1972 and 1973 and worked as Field and Mining Geologist in Australia and Zambia during the period from 1962 to 1969. He received a Bachelors of Science degree and a Masters of Science degree from the Rhodes University in 1961 and 1966 respectively, and a Doctorate in Philosophy degree from the James Cook University of North Queensland in 1972.

 Mr. Timothy R. Snider has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA since March 25, 2011. He has experience in geological exploration and mining. He is also Member of the Company’s Nominating and Governance Committees. He has also served as Manager of Curpic Canyon Capital LLC, Director of Compass Mineral International and President of Instituto de Recursos Minerales. He worked for 41 years within the Copper industry for such companies as Phelps Dodge Corporation. Since 1998 he served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Phelps Dodge Mining Company and in 2003 he got promoted to President and CEO of Phelps Dodge Corporation. He completed his studies in Geology and Chemistry at the Northern Arizona University and participated in the Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

German Suarez Chavez

 Mr. German Suarez Chavez serves as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Compania de Minas Buenaventura SAA. He was appointed to this post on March 25, 2011 and has been on the Company’s Board since March 31, 2005. He acts also as Member of the Audit, Compensation, Nominating and Governance Committees within the Company. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Central de Reserva del Peru. From 1990 to 1992, he acted as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco de la Nacion. He graduated from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos with a degree in Economics in 1965 and received a Masters degree in Economics from the Columbia University in 1969.
