Name Description

Roque Eduardo Benavides Ganoza

Mr. Roque Eduardo Benavides Ganoza serves as Chief Executive Officer, Executive President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since March 25, 2011. He has been Board Member of the Company since July 22, 2004 and Chief Financial Officer from 1985 to February 22, 2001, when he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to that time, he served as Assistant to the Chairman of the Board from 1980 to 1985 and as Project Engineer from 1977 to 1979. He has also been Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha since 1992 and General Manager of Recuperada S.A. He has served as Executive Officer and Director of some of the Company’s mining and mining-related subsidiaries or affiliates. In addition, he has served as Director of the National Association of Minerals, Petroleum and Energy since 1988 and Chairman of the Board from 1993 to 1995. He acted as Chairman of the National Confederation of Private Companies (CONFIEP) from 1999 to March 2001. In 2001, he was appointed Vice Chairman of the World Gold Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in 1977 and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Henley Management College, The Management College of Brunnel University in 1980. He completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School in 1985 and the Advanced Management Program at Templeton College of Oxford University in 1997.

Carlos Ernesto Galvez Pinillos

Mr. Carlos Ernesto Galvez Pinillos serves as Vice President of Finance and Administration of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since February 22, 2001. He joined the Company in 1978. He acted as Deputy Manager of Finance and Information Systems of the Company from 1985 to February 22, 2001. Since March 2003, he has also been Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha. He served as Deputy Manager of the Company’s Treasury from 1980 to 1985 and as Treasurer from 1978 to 1980. He has also served as Director of the Colquirrumi and Coimolache, two of the Company’s subsidiaries, and was appointed Director of Conenhua in 2000, Director of El Brocal in 2002, of Contacto SA in 2005, and Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha in 2003. He has also served as Director of the Sociedad de Mineria, Petroleo y Energia del Peru since 2000. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Managerial Adjunct for Finance and Credit from 1977 to 1978 at Banco Minero del Peru. He has also served as a Board Member of the Committee of Economic Operation of the National Electric System. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal in 1976, a Masters of Business Administration degree from Universidad del Pacifico in 1980 and completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School in 1997.

Igor Alcides Gonzales Galindo

Mr. Igor Alcides Gonzales Galindo serves as Vice President - Operations, Director of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since March 27, 2014 and appointed as Vice President - Operations on November 1, 2014. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad del Cusco and Master of Science degree in Metallurgy from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.

Mr. Jose Alejandro Hermoza Maravi serves as Vice President Community Relations of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc., since September 2, 2008. He joined the Company in 2003. He worked as Deputy Chief Administrative and Human Resources Officer of the Company. He has worked as Director of Development of National Confederation of Private Business (CONFIEP). He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, a Masters degree in Engineering from the same university, as well as a Masters degree in Administration from Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC).

Raul Eduardo Pedro Benavides Ganoza

Mr. Raul Eduardo Pedro Benavides Ganoza serves as Vice President of Business Development of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since July 1, 1997. He has also served as Alternate Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacoha and Board Member of several of the Company’s subsidiaries. From 1984 to 1996 he was Manager of the Orcopampa Mine. Prior to that time, he was Manager of Operations from 1983 to 1984 and Chief of Mining from 1980 to 1983 at Colquirrumi. Since 1995, he has been Professor of Mining Administration at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. In addition, he has served as Vice President of the Instituto de Ingenieros de Minas since 1994 and was also President of the Instituto de Seguridad Minera del Peru from 1996 to 2000. He was Member of the Consulting Board for the National Occupational Safety Association from 2003 to 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1980, a Master of Science degree in Mineral Engineering and Management from Pennsylvania State University in 1984 and completed the Advanced Management Program at The Harvard Business School in 2001.

Gulnara la Rosa Rubina

Ms. Gulnara la Rosa Rubina serves as General Counsel of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since 1990. She was the Legal Director from 2006 to June 2012 and was appointed as Legal Manager and General Counsel in July 2012. she served as Head of the Legal Department from 1997 to 2006 and as a lawyer from 1991 to 1997. She holds a Law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru in 1992. She also completed the Corporate Law Specialization Program at Universidad de Navarra, Spain, in 1991 and the High Specialization Program of Finance and Corporate Law at ESAN Graduate School of Business, Peru, in 2001. In addition, she attended the Management Program for Lawyers at Yale School of Management in 2005 and the Corporate Governance and Performance Program at Yale School of Management in 2012.

Leandro Garcia Raggio

Mr. Leandro Garcia Raggio serves as General Comptroller and Compliance Officer of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc., since July 1, 2011. He worked at Buenaventura from 1990 to 1997 as Head of Treasury and at Sociedad Minera el Brocal as Finance Director until 2000. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Boticas BTL until 2005 and of Boticas Inkafarma until July 2001. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacifico and a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the same university, as well as a Masters degree in Administration from the University of Miami.

Mr. William Henry Champion serves as Director since January 2016. He serves currently as a Principal with Gladiator Mining Group, LLC, a company formed to pursue global investment opportunities within the mining sector. He has worked for over 40 years in the mining industry and he has extensive executive, management and operations experience across a wide range of mining commodities and global mining jurisdictions. From 2002 to 2014, he worked for Rio Tinto PLC in various senior executive management roles that included Managing Director of Rio Tinto Coal Australia, Managing Director of Rio Tinto Diamonds and President and CEO of Kennecott Utah Copper. Prior to that, he held the position of Executive Vice President for Cyprus Climax Metals from 1995 to 2000, with worldwide responsibilities for copper and molybdenum operations. Additionally, he worked for Phelps Dodge Mining Company in various capacities from 1984 to 1995 where, among other duties, he was President of Phelps Dodge Chile. He holds a Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biological Sciences from the University of Arizona.

Jose Miguel Morales Dasso

Mr. Jose Miguel Morales Dasso serves as Director of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since July 31, 2012. He has also acted as Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha since 1995. In addition, he has served as Member of the Board of Almacenera del Peru SA, Inversiones Cosepa SA, Hotel Costa del Pacifico SA, El Pacifico-Peruano Suiza Compania de Seguros and of Instituto Nacional de Derecho de Mineria y Petroleo, serving as its Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1989 to 1990. In February 2003, he was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sociedad Nacional de Mineria, Petroleo y Energia and held this post till January 31, 2005. On March 16, 2005, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Confederacion Nacional de Instituciones Empresariales Privadas and served until 2007. He graduated in Law from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in 1968 and completed the Sloan Program in Business Management at the Stanford University's Business School in 1976.

Carlos del Solar Simpson

Mr. Carlos W. del Solar Simpson serves as Independent Director of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since March 25, 2011. He has experience in Geological Exploration and Mining. From 1998 to 2001 he served as President and Chief Executive Officer at ARCO for Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Trinidad. Since 2001 he is in charge of Oil Hunt activities in Peru as President and Chief Executive Officer. He was President of The National Society of Mining, Petroleum and Energy (SNMPE) from 2005 to 2006 and First Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Confederation of Private Business (CONFIEP) from 2007 to 2008. Since March 2010 he has served as Second Vice Chairman of the Committee of Peruvian Exporters (COMEXPERU) as well as Member of the Board and Executive Committee of SNMPE and COMEXPERU. He holds a degree in Engineering and Geology from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and a Master of Science degree from Stanford University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program of Universidad de Piura.

Felipe Arturo Ortiz-de-Zevallos Madueno

Mr. Felipe Arturo Ortiz-de-Zevallos Madueno serves as Independent Director of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since March 25, 2011 and has been on the Company’s Board since August 27, 2003. He serves as Ambassador of Peru in the United States of North America. In addition, he was named Vice Chancellor of Universidad del Pacifico de Lima for the term between June 15, 2004, and June 15, 2009. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in 1968, as well as a Master of Science degree in Administration and Information Technology from the University of Rochester in 1970 and completed the Owner/President Management program at Harvard in 1996.

German Suarez Chavez

Mr. German Suarez Chavez serves as Independent Director of Buenaventura Mining Company Inc. since March 25, 2011 and has been on the Company’s Board since March 31, 2005. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Central de Reserva del Peru. From 1990 to 1992, he acted as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco de la Nacion. In addition, he served as Representative of Banco de la Nacion at Bladex, Extebandes and Arlabank, as well as Member of the Board of Directors of Latin American Reserves Fund, La Pampilla Refinery, Relapasa, and Credicorp Ltd. He also held the position of Chairman of the IMF G-24. He graduated from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos with a degree in Economics in 1965 and received a Masters degree in Economics from the Columbia University in 1969.
