Name Description

Jerry Rose

Mr. Jerry R. Rose has been appointed as Independent Chairman of the Board of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc., effective January 3, 2017. Jerry served as Corporate Vice President of Cargill, Inc. from 2004 to September 2012. He was a member of the Corporate Center and a platform leader for the Cargill Animal Nutrition, Animal Protein & Salt Platform and the Cargill BioFuels, BioIndustrial & Emerging Business Platform. He joined Cargill in 1973 and had various accounting and executive positions with the company. He oversaw international investment activities and acquisitions, as well as the Cargill Global Business Excellance Activity, which focused on developing high-performance businesses. Mr. Rose is a past Chairman of the Malcolm Baldrige Award Board of Overseers and is a director for Daybreak Foods.

Sally Smith

Ms. Sally J. Smith, CPA, serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. Sally J. Smith has served as our Chief Executive Officer and President since July 1996. She served as our Chief Financial Officer from 1994 to 1996. Prior to joining Buffalo Wild Wings, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Dahlberg, Inc., the manufacturer and franchisor of Miracle-Ear hearing aids, from 1983 to 1994. Ms. Smith began her career with KPMG LLP, an international accounting and auditing firm. Ms. Smith is a CPA. Ms. Smith serves on the boards of directors of The Hormel Corporation and Alerus Financial Corporation, Allina Health Systems and the National Restaurant Association, where she served as chairperson in 2011.

Alexander Ware

Mr. Alexander H. Ware has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of the Company, effective October 31, 2016. Prior to joining Buffalo Wild Wings, Ware served as executive chairman of MStar Holding Corp. From 2010 to 2015, Ware served as executive vice president (EVP) of strategic development and senior advisor for the Pohlad Companies. From 2005 until its sale in 2010, he served as EVP and chief financial officer of PepsiAmericas, a $5 billion public anchor bottler, operating in 20 U.S. states and 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. Previously, Ware served PepsiAmericas as senior vice president, worldwide planning and corporate development. He began his Pepsi career in 1994 and held several progressive roles with PepsiCo, including strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and field finance operations. Prior to PepsiCo, Ware was a management consultant with Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Ware began his career in banking with Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JP Morgan Chase). He holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at University of Virginia and a BA in Economics from Hampden-Sydney College. Ware serves on the Board of Directors of MStar Holding Corp., Barfresh Food Group and is a member of the Advisory Council of Stone Arch Capital, LLC.

James Schmidt

Mr. James M. Schmidt serves as Chief Operating Officer of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. He served as our Executive Vice President since December 2006 and as General Counsel from April 2002 to January 2011. He served as either Vice President or Senior Vice President from April 2002 until December 2006. Mr. Schmidt also served as our Secretary from September 2002 until January 2011, and he served as a director on our Board from 1994 to September 2003. From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Schmidt was an attorney with the law firm of Robbins, Kelly, Patterson & Tucker.

Judith Shoulak

Ms. Judith A. (Judy) Shoulak serves as Executive Vice President, President - North America Buffalo Wild Wings of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. She served as Executive Vice President, Global Operations and Human Resources from January 2010 until October 2011, as our Senior Vice President, Operations, from March 2004 to December 2009, Senior Vice President, Human Resources from January 2003 to February 2004 and Vice President of Human Resources from October 2001 to January 2003. From 1993 to 2001, Ms. Shoulak served as Vice President of Field Human Resources of OfficeMax Incorporated.

Emily Decker

Ms. Emily C. Decker is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc since April 2014. She served as our Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary from January 2011 to April 2014 and as our Franchise Attorney from August 2007 until January 2011. From September 2004 to July 2007, Ms. Decker was an Associate at Briggs and Morgan, P.A., which provides legal services to us from time to time.

Andrew Block

Mr. Andrew D. Block is the Senior Vice President - Talent Management of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. He served as Vice President, Talent Management from April 2010 until January 2012. Mr. Block served as Director of Human Resources at C. H. Robinson Worldwide from December 2002 to April 2011. From March 1996 to December 2002 Mr. Block was with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as Director of Human Resources. Earlier in his career Mr. Block worked in the Human Resources field for Ecolab and a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America.

Lee Patterson

Mr. Lee R. Patterson is the Senior Vice President, Guest Marketing Experience of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc, since January 2014. He served as Senior Vice President, Guest Experience and Innovation from October 2011 to December 2013, Senior Vice President, Information Technology from January 2011 until October 2011 and as our Vice President, Information Technology from January 2008 until January 2011. Mr. Patterson was with Applebee’s International, Inc. from May 2003 to January 2008, serving most recently as Director of Restaurant Systems

Jeffrey Sorum

Mr. Jeffrey B. Sorum serves as Chief Accounting Officer of the Company. He is no longer Interim Principal Financial Officer of the Company, effective October 31, 2016. He has served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc. since January 2013. Previously, he had served as Vice President and Corporate Controller from 2005 to January 2013 and as Senior Director of Accounting from 2002 to 2005. He maintains an active CPA license in the State of Minnesota and began his career with KPMG LLP, where he served in various roles from 1992 to 2002, most recently as a Senior Audit Manager.

Santiago Abraham

Mr. Santiago Abraham has been appointed as Chief Information Officer of the Company effective December 5, 2016. Abraham brings more than 20 years of business technology experience delivering solutions, applications and capabilities for a diverse number of hospitality-related industries. Most recently Abraham was vice president, IT strategy, sourcing & vendor management at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., where he led a five-year program to transform and modernize the company's enterprise technology. While at Royal Caribbean he also spearheaded a decade-long effort to optimize revenue systems at the company, resulting in a best-in-industry reservations system. Prior to joining Buffalo Wild Wings, Mr. Abraham spent 10 years at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., directing transformation programs to modernize enterprise technology and overhaul a core reservation system, among other IT initiatives. From 1997 to 2006 he was senior practice manager, transportation & travel services at Accenture Ltd. In this role he directed multi-million dollar IT solution engagements for logistics, travel and entertainment, hotel and resort clients including Cendant Corp., Carnival Corp., Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and US Freightways. Mr. Abraham holds a master of science in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a bachelor of science in computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Abraham served as the board IT committee member of United Way of Miami-Dade and served as the campaign chair for Royal Caribbean.

Cynthia Davis

Ms. Cynthia L. Davis is Independent Director of Buffalo Wild Wings, Inc. Cynthia most recently served as an executive at Nike for 10 years. She was Vice President of Nike Inc. and President of Nike Golf from 2008 to December, 2014. She also has been a member of the board of directors for Kennametal Inc. since December 2012, where she serves on the Audit and Governance Committees. In her role with Nike she led the over $800 million global golf business, including all product, marketing, sports marketing, sales, operations, finance, legal, and human resources responsibilities. She drove innovative profitable growth, and a team of athletes headlined by the two most iconic golf athletes. To that end, in 2013, she was recognized as one of Sports Illustrated's "50 Most Powerful People in Sports." Prior to joining Nike in 2005, Ms. Davis was the Senior Vice President of Golf Sponsorships, Sports Marketing and New Media for the Golf Channel. Leading up to that, she was the President and CEO of The Arnold Palmer Golf Company after serving as Vice President of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). She is a former chairperson of the National Golf Foundation (NGF) and has served on the Golf 20/20 Executive Committee.

Andre Fernandez

Mr. Andre J. Fernandez is Independent Director of the Company. He is the president of CBS RADIO. In this role, Mr. Fernandez is responsible for the overall direction and management of the company, which includes 117 over-the-air radio stations in 26 major markets. Prior to joining CBS RADIO in April 2015, Mr. Fernandez served as the president and chief operating officer of Journal Communications, Inc. Previously, Mr. Fernandez served in a number of leadership roles of increasing responsibility at the General Electric Company, including chief financial officer of Telemundo Communications, a Spanish language broadcast television network; chief financial officer and controller of GE Latin America; and chief financial officer of GE Digital Energy. Additionally, Mr. Fernandez has been named to Billboard’s “Power 100 list” which recognizes the most influential executives in the music industry, and in July 2016, he was ranked the second most powerful person in radio on Radio Ink’s “40 Most Powerful People in Radio” list, up from number five in 2015. Mr. Fernandez currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board at Froedtert Health and he is on the board of the National Association of Broadcasters. Mr. Fernandez graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in economics.

Michael Johnson

Mr. Michael P. (Mike) Johnson, Sr., serves as an Independent Director of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. Michael has served as President and CEO of J & A Group, LLC, a business and management consulting company, since June 2008. In March 2008, Mr. Johnson retired as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of The Williams Companies, a publicly-held energy company, having joined The Williams Companies in 1998. In this role, he was responsible for human resources, information technology, purchasing, real estate/facilities and security, and he served as Chairman of the board of directors of the Williams Foundation. From 1991 to 1998, Mr. Johnson served in various officer-level positions for Amoco Corporation, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources, which included domestic as well as international responsibilities. Mr. Johnson serves on the board of directors of CenterPoint Energy, Inc. and the QuikTrip Corporation, a privately-held retail gasoline, food and convenience store company. Mr. Johnson also serves on the boards of several charitable organizations and foundations.

Hal Lawton

Mr. Hal Lawton is Independent Director of the Company. He is the senior vice president of North America at eBay, Inc. At eBay, Mr. Lawton’s responsibilities include all functions for the Americas business unit, including merchandising, marketing, operations, business selling, consumer selling, global shipping, global payments and global customer experience. Before joining eBay in 2015, Mr. Lawton held a number of leadership positions at Home Depot, Inc., including senior vice president of merchandising of hardlines and senior vice president and president of the Company’s online business. Mr. Lawton earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Pulp and Paper Science from North Carolina State University before pursuing a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

John Maggard

Mr. John Oliver Maggard serves as an Independent Director of Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. He has served as Managing Partner of Caymus Partners LLC, an investment banking firm, since October 2002, and as a Managing Partner of Caymus Equity Partners, LLC, a private equity firm, since its founding in 2012. From January 1995 to October 2002, Mr. Maggard was a Managing Director and Partner of Regent Capital Management Corp., a private equity firm which he co-founded. Prior to founding Regent Capital, Mr. Maggard held various positions with Bankers Trust Company, Kidder Peabody & Company, Inc., Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated, and E.F. Hutton & Co. Mr. Maggard also serves as a director of Phoenix Aromas & Essential Oils, LLC and of three portfolio companies of Caymus Equity Partners, LLC, all privately-held companies.

Harmit Singh

Mr. Harmit J. Singh is Independent Director of the Company. He is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Levi Strauss & Co. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company’s finance, information technology, strategic sourcing and global business services functions globally. Prior to joining Levi Strauss & Co. in January 2013, Mr. Singh served as chief financial officer of Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Before Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Mr. Singh held various global leadership roles at Yum! Brand foods, including chief financial officer of Pizza Hut. Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, and is a Chartered Accountant from India. He is also a member of the CNBC Global CFO Council and Wall Street Journal CFO Network.
