Name Description

Abilio dos Santos Diniz

 Mr. Abilio dos Santos Diniz has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao since 2003. He has served as Member of the Board of Directors of the Company since 1995. Between 1999 and 2003, he also served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. His professional career has been entirely dedicated to Grupo Pao de Acucar, from his first activities as Sales Manager until the position he currently holds. He was one of the Founders of Sao Paulo's supermarket association, and was also Founder of ABRAS. He is former Member of the Brazilian National Monetary Council. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV), and has studied at Columbia University and at Ohio University.

Valentim dos Santos Diniz

 Mr. Valentim dos Santos Diniz has served as Honorary Chairman of the Board of Directors of Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao since 2003. Previously, from 1995 to 2003, he served as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors. He founded the Pao de Acucar Group in 1948.

He was a Career Diplomat, who joined to the Diplomatic Service of Brazil in March 1967. He served as Ambassador of Brazil in Paraguay from 2000 to 2004, China between 2004 and 2008 and Japan from 2008 to 2010, at the same time, he was Ambassador of Brazil in Mongolia and Democratic People‘s Republic of Korea. He was also Chairman of Itaipu Binacional. He was Interim Minister of State and Head of the Secretariat of Strategic Affairs of the Presidency. He is Founding Partner of CN Estudo e Projetos Ltda and President of the Brazilian Center of Foreign Affairs (Centro Brasileiro de Relacoes Internacionais). He graduated in Economic Sciences from UFRJ and in Diplomacy from Instituto Rio-Branco of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministerio das Relacoes Exteriores).  Mr. Pedro Paulo Falleiros dos Santos Diniz serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao. He has been President of PPD Sports, an equity investment capital company. He is Partner and Co-Founder of Greentech, an investment fund in clean technology companies, with a portfolio that includes companies such as Sucral, Sykue, Veridas, Panozon, GT Water and Brazil Timber. Furthermore, is a Member of the Board of Directors of Edenred Sarl, headquartered in Paris, France. Mr. Oliveira was President of the Board of Directors of Grupo Credicard from 1999 to 2005 and CEO of Banco Credicard SA from 2002 to 2005. Moreover, he held executive positions at Accor Brasil SA, Rhodia Rhone Poulec SA and Saint Global SA. He graduated in Administration and has an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. He holds a Master's degree in Finance and Strategic Planning from Institute Superieur des Affaires, Jouy-en-Josas, in France.

Fabio Schvartsman

 Mr. Fabio Schvartsman serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Companhia Brasileira de Distribuicao. He is also Member of the Company's Audit Committee.
