Name Description

James Bradford

Mr. James W. Bradford, Jr., has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc., effective November 7, 2012. Mr. Bradford is dean and Ralph Owen Professor for the Practice of Management at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. An experienced corporate executive, Bradford previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of United Glass Corporation, a consolidation of glass fabricators in the United States and Canada, from 1999 to 2001 and as President and Chief Executive Officer of AFG Industries Inc., North America's vertically integrated glass manufacturing and fabrication company, from 1992 to 1999, after joining that company in 1984 as general counsel following 11 years in private practice.

Sandra Cochran

Ms. Cochran has been employed with us in various capacities since 2009. Ms. Cochran served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from April 2009 to November 2010, and as President and Chief Operating Officer from November 2010 until September 2011 when she assumed her current position. In September 2011, she also became a member of our Board of Directors. Prior to March 2009, she was the Chief Executive Officer of Books-A-Million, Inc., having assumed that role in 2004 after serving in various capacities there since 1992. Ms. Cochran has 20 years of experience in the retail industry and four years of experience in the restaurant industry. She is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of the company.

Lawrence Hyatt

Mr. Hyatt has been employed with us as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 2011. He has over 20 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer with various organizations. Prior to January 2011, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of O’Charley’s Inc., having assumed that role in 2004. He also served as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of O’Charley’s Inc. from February 2009 through June 2009. Mr. Hyatt’s previous positions include serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cole National Corporation, a specialty retailer; as Chief Financial and Restructuring Officer of PSINet, Inc., an internet service provider; as Chief Financial Officer of HMS Host Corporation, a subsidiary of Autogrill S.p.A.; and as Chief Financial Officer of Sodexho Marriott Services, Inc., a food services and facilities management company, and its predecessor company. Mr. Hyatt has 11 years of experience in the restaurant industry and five years of experience in the retail industry. He is Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of the company.

CHRISTOPHER CIAVARRA

Mr. Ciavarra has been employed with us since 2008. He assumed his current position in 2010. Prior to 2008, he was the Director of Marketing for Aramark Corporation from 2005 to 2008. In addition, he was a consultant for us from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Ciavarra has over 13 years of experience in the restaurant industry and over eight years of experience in the retail industry. He is Senior Vice President - Marketing of the company.

Laura Daily

Ms. Daily has been employed with us as Senior Vice President of Retail since May 2012. Prior to May 2012, she served as Vice President for Ballard Designs, an Internet and catalog home furnishings retailer that is part of HSN, Inc., where she was in charge of all merchandising and trends for the company. Ms. Daily’s previous positions prior to joining Ballard Designs in 1997 included merchandising, planning and store operations positions with Spiegel, Inc. and Carson Pirie Scott. She has over 20 years of experience as a merchant with a number of retail organizations. She is Senior Vice President - Retail of the company.

Nicholas Flanagan

Mr. Flanagan has been employed with us since 2004. From 2004 to 2010, he served in various capacities including Vice President of Restaurant Operations. He assumed his current position in November 2010. Prior to 2004, he was a 15-year veteran of S&A Restaurant Corporation where he served in several leadership roles. Mr. Flanagan has over 24 years of experience in the restaurant industry. He is Senior Vice President - Operations of the company.

Edward Greene

Mr. Greene has been employed with us in his current capacity since October 2005. From August 1996 to October 2005, he worked for Restaurant Services, Inc., the independent purchasing cooperative which provided supply chain management services for Burger King Corporation and its franchisees, serving most recently as its Vice President, Food and Packaging Purchasing. Mr. Greene began his career with The Pillsbury Company and has over 35 years of combined experience in the restaurant and food processing industries. He is Senior Vice President - Strategic Initiatives of the company.

P. Douglas Couvillion

Mr. Couvillion has been employed with us since 2001 in various capacities including Vice President of Finance. He assumed his current position in July 2011. Prior to 2001, he was with Landry's Restaurants, Inc. since 1993 where he served in various capacities including Controller and Director of Finance. Mr. Couvillion began his career in public accounting with Touche Ross & Co. and has 19 years of experience in the restaurant industry and 12 years of experience in the retail industry. He is Principal Accounting Officer, Vice President, Corporate Controller of the company.

Michael Zylstra

Mr. Zylstra has been employed with us in various capacities since 1992. He assumed his present position in January 2012 after serving as Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary since 1999. Mr. Zylstra has 22 years of experience in the restaurant and retail industry, all with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. He is Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of the company.

Richard Dobkin

Mr. Richard J. Dobkin is a Director of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc. Mr. Dobkin was the Managing Partner of the Tampa, Florida office of Ernst & Young, LLP, an independent registered public accounting firm, from 1987 until June 2005. Mr. Dobkin is a member of the board of directors of PBSJ Corporation, which provides planning, design, and construction management services in the U.S. and abroad.

Thomas Barr

Mr. Thomas H. Barr has been appointed as Independent Director of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc., effective May 30, 2012. Mr. Barr serves as Vice President, Global Coffee, at Starbucks Coffee Company (Nasdaq: SBUX) and has been a member of Starbucks’ marketing and products team since 2000 with responsibilities for Starbucks U.S. retail coffee business. During his 11 years with Starbucks, Mr. Barr has led North American Marketing, U.S. Product Management, and U.S. Food categories in senior executive roles.

Mr. Davenport spent 33 years with Morrison Management Specialists, a food service company that provides food, nutrition and dining services to healthcare systems and senior living communities in 41 states, and held various senior management positions, including 12 years as Chairman/CEO. Mr. Davenport is currently a board member for Pate Dawson Company, a private national food distributor, and Team Health Holdings Inc. (NYSE: TMH).

William McCarten

Mr. William W. McCarten has been appointed as Independent Director of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc., effective August 9, 2011. He is Chairman of DiamondRock Hospitality Company, a lodging-focused Real Estate Investment Trust, that he founded in 2004 and took public in 2005. DiamondRock (NYSE: DRH) owns 26 high-quality hotels throughout the United States and has assets of nearly $3 billion. Mr. McCarten served as Chief Executive Officer of DiamondRock from its inception through September 1, 2008. Mr. McCarten brings hospitality, retail and restaurant experience to Cracker Barrel. Prior to founding DiamondRock, he held a number of senior executive positions with Marriott International, Inc. and related entities over the course of 25 years. He was President of Marriott International's Services Group from 2001 to 2003. From 1992 to 2000, Mr. McCarten served as the Chief Executive Officer of HMSHost Corporation, the nation's developer and operator of restaurant and retail concessions in travel and entertainment venues. Mr. McCarten led the transformation of this industry segment through his efforts to bring national retail brands into these venues. He is a graduate of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and served on the Advisory Board of the McIntire School for fifteen years, from 1981 to 1996. Mr. McCarten has received several prestigious industry awards including the Nation's Restaurant News Golden Chain Award (1999), Nation's Restaurant News Operator of the Year Award (1999), Marriott International's Partnership Circle Award (2006), and HVS' Lodging Leadership CEO of the Year Award (2007).

Coleman Peterson

Mr. Coleman Peterson has been appointed as Independent Director of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc., effective June 17, 2011. Mr. Peterson adds his retail experience to the Cracker Barrel board, whose members represent a wide breadth of experience in both the retail and restaurant industries. He serves on the corporate boards as well as the nominating and corporate governance committees of both J.B. Hunt Transport of Lowell, Arkansas, and Build-A-Bear Workshop of St. Louis, Missouri. Peterson was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Northwest Arkansas Community College by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and recently completed a three year term as chairman of that board. He was inducted as a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources, the highest recognition with the human resource industry. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Loyola University.
