Kemper, David Mr. David W. Kemper has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since November 1991, Chief Executive Officer since June 1986 and President of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. since April 1982. He is Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Commerce Bank, N.A. (Missouri). He is the son of James M. Kemper, Jr. (a former Director and former Chairman of the Board of Commerce Bancshares) and the brother of Jonathan M. Kemper, Vice Chairman of Commerce Bancshares.
Kemper, Jonathan Mr. Jonathan M. Kemper has been Vice Chairman of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. since November 1991 and Vice Chairman of Commerce Bank, N.A. (Missouri) since December 1997. Prior thereto, he was Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Commerce Bank, N.A. (Missouri). He is the son of James M. Kemper, Jr. (a former Director and former Chairman of the Board of Commerce Bancshares) and the brother of David W. Kemper, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Commerce Bancshares.
Leadbeater, Seth Mr. Seth M. Leadbeater is Vice Chairman of Commerce Bancshares, Inc., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Commerce Bank, St. Louis Region, and serves on the Executive Committee of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. Leadbeater has overall responsibility for the St. Louis Region, and all Community Markets in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas outside of St. Louis and Kansas City. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Principia College and an MBA from California State University, Long Beach. Leadbeater serves as a Trustee for the St. Louis Art Museum, a Director of the Muny Opera in St. Louis, and of the Regional Housing Community Development Association.
Kim, Charles Mr. Charles G. Kim has been Executive Vice President of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. since April 1995 and Executive Vice President of Commerce Bank, N.A. (Missouri) since January 2004. Prior thereto, he was Senior Vice President of Commerce Bank, N.A. (Clayton, MO), a former subsidiary of Commerce Bancshares. Kim is actively involved in community and business organizations including the boards of Logan College of Chiropractic, Junior Achievement of Mississippi Valley, and the Missouri Baptist Hospital Community Advisory Board. Mr. Meek is President of Meek Lumber Yard, Inc., which operates a chain of builders’ materials centers under the name Meeks Building Centers.
