Name Description

Jeff Harding

Mr. Jeffrey (Jeff) Harding has been re-designated as Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited., with effect from 11 May 2015. Mr Harding has been on Carnegie’s Board of Directors since 2009 as a Non-Executive Director and has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. From 1995 to 2005 Mr Harding was Managing Director of Pacific Hydro Limited, Australia's largest renewable energy developer with wind and hydro energy projects in Australia, Asia and Chile. Jeff has Degrees in Civil Engineering, Economics, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Michael Ottaviano

Dr. Michael Edward Ottaviano is Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Executive Director of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited. He has been employed by Carnegie Wave Energy Ltd since 9 January 2006 initially as the General Manager of Technology and Innovation, then as CEO before being made Managing Director in March 2007. Dr. Ottaviano oversees all activities that the Company undertakes including all commercial and technical aspects of the Company’s operations, engineering and design, intellectual property and finance and administration. During this time the Company has developed its CETO Wave Energy technology from Proof of Concept, through a Pilot Plant phase and into the initial Commercial Demonstration stages. Dr. Ottaviano has previously worked in research and development and was a divisional manager for a private Australian engineering company. Prior to joining Carnegie Wave Energy Ltd, he was a Senior Manager specialising in Technology and Innovation consulting at a global accounting and advisory firm. He has advised companies on new product development, intellectual property, innovation portfolio management and technology commercialisation across various industries and ranging from start-ups to ASX-listed companies with market capitalisations in excess of $1 billion. He has also been a Board Member of the Clean Energy Council, Australia’s clean energy peak industry group, and a member of the Australian Government’s Energy White Paper High Level Consultative Committee. He completed his Doctorate in Business Administration in the field of Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Dr. Ottaviano has a Bachelor of Engineering, a Masters of Science and a Doctorate in Business Administration.

Aidan Flynn

Mr. Aidan Flynn has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Joint Company Secretary Carnegie Wave Energy Limited., with effect from 13 August 2014. He has a background in Accounting and Finance with Big 4 firms before moving into commercial roles within the mining and energy industry. He has prior experience in international renewable energy projects, including acquiring resource rights, negotiating PPAs, project approvals, EPC contractors, advanced project and corporate modelling, road shows and capital raising. As Commercial manager he is responsible for the commercial arrangements necessary to develop a CETO project at a specific site. He is also responsible for all project and corporate financial modelling and business analysis.

Greg Allen

Mr. Greg Allen is Chief Operating Officer of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited. He has over 15 years of experience across a range of technology and engineering industries. Greg has previously served as a Senior Manager with ASX-listed Wesfarmer’s remote power generation business, Chief Operating Officer of an ASX-listed renewable energy technology company and Operations Manager of a heat transfer equipment engineering and service company. Mr. Allen’s role at Carnegie includes ensuring compliance with regulatory and commercial requirements for power generation, delivery and wholesaling including liaising with government and industry partners. He also manages Carnegie’s relationships with regulatory and commercial key power-related stakeholders.

John Davidson

Mr. John RIix Davidson is Executive Director of the Company. He brings to the Board more than 30 years’ experience leading major strategic business initiatives and business transformation in a diverse range of industries, particularly the renewable energy and technology sectors. As founder of EMC, Mr Davidson will be instrumental in establishing Carnegie as the leading Australian renewable energy microgrid project delivery company. His international business experience and connections will also further enhance the company’s global opportunities in the microgrid and wave energy technologies. Mr Davidson also serves as Non-Executive Director on the board of mining company TNG, following the signing of an MoU between EMC and TNG in late 2016. From its inception in 2002, Mr Davidson has spent the last 15 years building EMC into one of the country’s leading solar and battery storage innovators. Growing in strength through a number of acquisitions, including Solar Sales, Clear Energy and Aussie Solar, Mr Davidson has developed a unique business model that offers an end to end renewable energy solution in-house, dedicated to research and development, custom design, construction, operation, maintenance and monitoring.

Kieran O'Brien

Mr. Kieran O'Brien is Executive Director - European Business Development of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited, since November 1, 2010. He is a former Managing Director of ESB (Ireland’s Electricity Supply Board) National Grid and served as a member of the Executive Management Group of ESB for more than 15 years. He has been responsible for long term strategic planning in ESB and for relations with the Irish Government and European Union in the fuel and utility sector. Mr. O'Brien was Acting Secretary General of the World Energy Council (WEC) from 2008-2009 and served two three year terms as a member of the Officer’s Council of the WEC. His international power industry experience extends to Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and North America. Mr. O'Brien holds a Degree in Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from the National University of Ireland, as well as a Master's degree in Engineering Science from University College Cork.

Grant Mooney

Mr. Grant Jonathan Mooney is Non-Executive Director, Joint Company Secretary of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited. He has resigned from the position of Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board of the Company with effect from 11 May 2015. He is the principal of Perth-based corporate advisory firm Mooney & Partners, specialising in corporate compliance administration to public companies. Mr. Mooney has gained experience in the areas of corporate and project management since commencing Mooney & Partners in 1999. His experience extends to advice on capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Currently, Mr. Mooney serves as a director to several ASX listed companies across a variety of industries including technology and resources. He is a director of Phosphate Australia Limited, appointed 14 October 2008, Barra Resources Limited, appointed 29 November 2002, Wild Acre Metals Limited, appointed May 2007 and was a director of ASX listed Ampella Mining Limited, from 1 July 2008 to 25 November 2008. Mr. Mooney is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a Chartered Accountant.

Michael Fitzpatrick

Mr. Michael (Mike) Clifford Fitzpatrick has been Non-Executive Director of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited since November 28, 2012. He has over 33 years in the financial services sector. After a career in investment banking in Australia and New York with Merrill Lynch and CS First Boston, he founded Hastings Funds Management Ltd (Hastings) in 1994. He was a director of a number of Hastings’ managed investments, including Pacific Hydro Limited, Global Renewables Limited, Utilities of Australia and Australian Infrastructure Fund. He is currently Chairman of the Infrastructure Capital Group, a boutique manager of energy and infrastructure assets, Chairman of Treasury Group Limited and also Chairman of the Australian Football League. He also holds a number of other non executive directorships, including Rio Tinto Limited and Rio Tinto plc. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Australia and in Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Oxford University in 1975, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.

John Leggate

Mr. John Leggate is Non-Executive Independent Director of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited, since July 27, 2011. He is an experienced oil and gas and venture capital industry executive. He worked for over twenty seven years for BP, most recently as the Group Chief Information Officer and member of the BP Group Senior Leadership Team, before joining $4.5 billion venture capital firm VantagePoint Capital Partners in 2008 where he is currently a Venture Partner and Senior Advisor to their CleanTech Advisory Council. At BP Mr Leggate was closely involved in the development of corporate policy on technology foresight, and corporate venturing during the dotcom era. He has spent 20 years in the exploration and production business; running various projects, construction, commissioning and production operations with a focus on the North Sea, Azerbaijan and the Caspian Region. Mr Leggate's early career was spent in marine consultancy at Yarrows Admiralty Research in Glasgow and after that he was engaged in the design and construction of coal, oil and nuclear power stations with South of Scotland Electricity Board (now Scottish Power). John currently serves on the Main Board and Audit Committee of FloDesign Wind Turbines, a venture backed Boston based wind turbine company. He is also on the Board of Solarcentury where he also is Chairman of the Audit Committee and of the Nominations and Governance Committee. John also served as a director on the Main Board and Audit Committee of London listed Parkmead Group. He has also served on the UK DTI Far Eastern Trade Advisory Board for four years and was advisor to the United States House Science Committee on the potential threat from cyber security on critical national infrastructure and global trade. He is a graduate of Glasgow University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
