Name Description

Fred Ojiambo

Mr. Fred N'cruba Ojiambo has served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since May 21, 2010. He has been Senior Partner at Kaplan & Stratton Advocates and has been involved in civil, criminal and commercial legal practice for over 30 years. Mr. Ojiambo has also served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Bata Shoe Company Limited and Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Quadrant Services Limited. He holds a Bachelors degree in Law from the University of Nairobi and is Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Gregory Brackenridge

Mr. Gregory R. (Greg) Brackenridge serves as Acting Chief Executive, Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited. He has served as Director of the Company since May 21, 2010. He was appointed the Managing Director CfC Stanbic Bank Limited on March 5, 2010. He first joined the Standard Bank Group (Group) in 1992 as General Manager, Corporate and Investment Banking with Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe Limited. He became Managing Director of Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe Limited in 1997 before transferring to the Head Office in Johannesburg as Chief Operating Officer in 2003. In 2004, he took over as Chief Executive of Stanbic Africa and then, in 2005, he was appointed Regional Managing Director, West Africa and Managing Director of Stanbic Bank Nigeria Limited. Whilst in Nigeria he completed his mandate to see the Group through the Nigerian re-capitalization process, build a new in-country leadership team, and establish a universal bank and consummate merger with IBTC Chartered Bank PLC.

Mr. Michael Alan (Mike) Blades has served as Executive Director; Head, Corporate and Investment Banking, East Africa of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since August 22, 2013. He received a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He served as Lecturer at the Natal Technikon in the Economics Division in 1991, and between 1993 and 1995, he worked for Standard Merchant Bank. A qualified Economist, Mr. Blades has worked in various positions in the Corporate and Investment Banking Business Unit of Standard Bank Group for over 20 years, most recently as the Head of International Business Development and Corporate Banking Coverage in China.

Ms. Lillian Nduku Mbindyo serves as Company Secretary of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws (Master of Legal Letters MLL) from University of Warwick, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Warwick Business School. She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Public Secretary. Prior to joining CfC Stanbic Bank, she worked as the Head of Compliance and Legal at the Nairobi Securities Exchange and thereafter as the Head of Legal & Compliance at CfC Stanbic Financial Services Ltd. She has over 10 years work experience and currently serves as the Company Secretary of CfC Stanbic Holdings Ltd and CfC Stanbic Bank.

Christopher Blandford-Newson

Mr. Christopher J. Blandford-Newson has served as Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since June 26, 2014. He is also a Director on the Board of CfC Stanbic Bank. Mr. Newson is a Chartered Accountant and was the Chief Executive of Standard Bank Africa until September, 2015. He has over 23 years experience in Investment and Commercial Banking, and has particular expertise gained in relation to Sub-Saharan Africa, with the last nine years being at the chief executive level.

Mr. Peter Nderitu Gethi has served as Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since February 11, 2013. He is a qualified Consultant Agronomist and brings to the Board of the Bank a wealth of agribusiness and management experience, expected to help the Bank achieve its strategic goals. Mr Gethi has served as a Board member of Liberty Life Assurance Limited and Heritage Insurance (K) Limited since 2009 and is currently serving as the Chairman of both companies since 2011. He is also a Director at Nebange Ltd.

Rose Kimotho

Ms. Rose Wairimu Kimotho, MBS, has served as Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since May 31, 2008. Ms. Kimotho is the Managing Director of Three Stones Limited, a Company that operates a digital television channel. Prior to launching Three Stones, Ms. Kimotho was founder and Managing Director of Regional Reach Limited, which company launched the first local language FM station in Kenya as well as Kenya’s first 24-hour news and information television channel. Until she ventured into entrepreneurship in 1994, Rose was General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of McCann-Erickson (K) Ltd. She is the former chairman of both the Marketing Society of Kenya, and the Media Owners Association as well as the former Chief Trade Judge at the Nairobi International Show. In addition to being a Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited, she serves on the Boards CfC Stanbic Bank, Population Services International (PSI) Kenya, PS Kenya, Y&R Brands, a Trustee of Rhino Ark, and a member of the Task Force on Press Law appointed by the Attorney General to make recommendations on laws governing the media. Ms. Kimotho holds a diploma in journalism from University of Nairobi, a Management Diploma from Columbia University Graduate School and a Marketing Certificate from the Marketing Society of Kenya.

Mr. Kitili Mbathi has served as Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since May 31, 2008. He is also serving as a Director of CfC Stanbic Bank Limited, CfC Stanbic Financial Services Limited, Stanbic Investment Management Services (East Africa) Limited, Chairman of Kenya Tourist Board and member of the University of Nairobi Council. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics and Political Science) from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, the United States. He has experience in banking which was acquired when serving in various capacities at Commercial Bank of Africa Nairobi, Merrill Lynch San Francisco, the United States, Barclays Merchant Finance Limited (BMFL) Nairobi, Citibank N.A. Nairobi Branch, Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited, Ministry of Finance and Planning Government of Kenya, and Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited.

Charles Muchene

Mr. Charles Kahara Muchene has served as Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since February 1, 2011. He was appointed to the board as a Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited and CfC Stanbic Bank Limited in February 2011. Prior to this appointment, he was the Country Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers, a practice that provides auditing, tax and advisory services to businesses in the region. Over the last decade, he has been a thought leader and commentator on issues affecting businesses in the region and was one of the founders, and is also a past chairman, of the East African Business Summit. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi, is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and a member of the Institute of Directors. He also serves on the boards of East African Breweries Limited and Kenya Breweries Limited in addition to a number of private companies. He is Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company.

Ruth Ngobi

Ms. Ruth Theddesia Ngobi has served as Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since February 1, 2011. She is a lawyer of over 25 years of standing, having been admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1985. She holds a Bachelor of laws degree from University of Kent in Canterbury and a Master of Laws degree from University of Cambridge, both in the United Kingdom. Until recently, she was the Area Legal Counsel, for BAT East and Central Africa until June 2010 when she retired from full time employment with BAT but retained her role as the Company Secretary.

Edward Njoroge

Mr. Edward W. Njoroge, CBS, has served as Non-Executive Director of CfC Stanbic Holdings Limited since May 21, 2010. He is the Managing Director of Kenya Electricity Generating Company Limited. He started his career with Twiga Chemical Industries in 1975. He then held a senior position with Akile Associates Limited before moving to ABCON Group in 1977. His other directorships include REAL Insurance Company Limited, REAL Insurance Tanzania Limited, the Nairobi Securities Exchange, Access Kenya, Aquatech Industries Limited, Nerifa Holdings Limited, Affiliated Business Contacts Limited, Proctor & Allan EA Limited, Proctor & Allan Uganda Limited, Syndachem East Africa Limited and Syndachem Uganda Limited. He is also a director of Tana & Athi Rivers Development Authority and Kenya Voluntary Development Association. He is also the current President of the Union of Producers, Distributors and Transporters of Electric Power in Africa.
