Biographies

Name Description

Klaus Von Hoerde

Mr. Klaus Von Hoerde is Chairman of the Supervisory Board at UET United Electronic Technology AG since May 15, 2012. He was Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the Company from October 26, 2006 till June 30, 2009. He has more than 30 years of professional experience in leadership positions at well-known German and international industrial companies. Prior to being on the supervisory board at UET, von Hörde served as CEO at GE Plastics; President at GE Deutschland; Co-CEO of GE Plastics Europe; and General Manager for the Structured Products business unit at GE. From 1990 to 1992, von Hörde acted as member of the executive board at ABB Holding Germany and CEO of ABB Industrie. Afterwards, he moved to Carl Schenk, where he was CEO. In 1997, he became President and CEO of MEMC Electronic Materials, which he restructured until 2002.

Werner Neubauer

Mr. Werner Neubauer is Chief Executive Officer and Sole Member of the Management Board of UET United Electronic Technology AG since December 4, 2012. Prior to this appointment, he served as Member of the Management Board and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from August 20, 2012. He has more than 20 years of management experience in leading world-class technology companies. Prior to being appointed CEO at UET, Neubauer worked at ELCON Systemtechnik as managing director. During that time, he enabled the company to realise significant profitable growth. Throughout his career, Neubauer held numerous executive leadership positions at companies within the telecommunication industry, including international assignments in Scandinavia and the United States for Ericsson. He has a strong background in sales and product management. He has an Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree and studied Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Stefan Schuetze

Dr. Stefan Schuetze is Member of the Supervisory Board of UET United Electronic Technology AG since January 16, 2014. He previously held the same position within the Company until June 30, 2009. He has been practicing law successfully since 2000. His legal expertise is based on many years of working as a lawyer, legal adviser, directorate, and member of the executive board at listed holding companies. He was a legal adviser for the listed holding company bmp in Berlin and for the Altira Group, a listed asset management company in Frankfurt am Main. Today he is the CEO of the public listed Finlab Group. He serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at artec technologies AG, Member of the Supervisory Board at Coreo AG and Consortia Vermögensverwaltung AG. He studied Law at the Martin-Luther University, Halle and holds a Master of Legal Letters in Mergers & Acquisitions from the Westfaelische Wilhelms-Universitaet Muenster. During his studies Dr. Schuetze interned with the legal department of Dresdner Bank AG and an international law firm in Innsbruck, Austria.

Juergen Vogels

Mr. Juergen Vogels is Member of the Supervisory Board at UET United Electronic Technology AG since October 19, 2012. He has more than 35 years of managerial experience within the pharmaceutical industry. His past experience includes Division Manager for Grünenthal and as Head of Sales for Merck. As a member of the business team he was responsible for founding the group subsidiary MERCK-Dura. Vogels taught “General Economics and Controlling” at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hanover and founded VOGELSconsultant in 2005. Today he runs a consulting business for mid-sized companies, focusing on the areas of market orientation and market development. He holds a diploma in Economics.
