Name Description

Kaare Foy

 Mr. Kaare Glenne Foy, B.Ec., is Executive Chairman of the Board of Cangold Ltd. He has worked at senior management and Board levels for both public and private companies in Australia, Canada, Switzerland, USA and the United Kingdom for more than 30 years, specializing in company “turnarounds” and is currently a permanent resident of Canada. Mr. Foy is a Director and Executive Chairman of the Company as well as being a Director and Executive Chairman of Great Panther Silver Limited, a Canadian primary silver producer with operations in Mexico and publicly listed in Canada. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Golden Prospect Precious Metals Limited. Mr. Foy holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Monash University in Australia, and became an Associate of the Australian Society of Accountants and a Member of the Australian Institute of Directors.

Robert Archer

 Mr. Robert A. Archer, P.Geo., is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Cangold Ltd. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Cangold and for the development of its strategic direction. He is also President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Great Panther Silver Limited, a company listed on the TSX and NYSE Amex, which owns a 100% interest in two producing mines in Mexico. Mr. Archer is a resident of British Columbia, Canada and has more than 30 years of experience working for mining companies throughout North America including Newmont Exploration of Canada Ltd., Rio Algom Exploration Inc., Placer Dome Canada Ltd. and Noranda Exploration Inc. He also served as President of Consolidated Magna Ventures Ltd. Mr. Archer is President of R.A. Archer & Associates and Platoro Resource Corp. He is also a non-executive director of Altair Ventures Incorporated, a company publicly listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Raakel Iskanius

 Ms. Raakel S. Iskanius is Chief Financial Officer of Cangold Ltd. As CFO, Ms. Iskanius is responsible for all aspects of Cangold’s financial management, including treasury, financial reporting, analysis of operations, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Ms. Iskanius was the Chief Financial Officer of Great Panther Silver Limited from May 2007 to May 2011. Prior to joining Great Panther Silver Limited, Ms. Iskanius served as a Senior Financial and Regulatory Reporting Manager at Terasen Gas Inc. Ms. Iskanius also worked for companies across North America including KPMG LLP, Chartered Accountants, and The Loewen Group Inc. Ms. Iskanius has more than 19 years of experience as a finance professional with the majority of her career spent in natural gas utility and multi-branch sectors. Ms. Iskanius qualified as a Certified General Accountant in 1995 and received her Chartered Accountant designation in 1999.

Robert Brown

 Mr. Robert F. Brown, P.Eng., is Vice President - Exploration, Director of Cangold Ltd. He is responsible for overseeing all exploration activities undertaken by Cangold. Mr. Brown is a Professional Engineer with a degree in Engineering Geology from Queen’s University. His 36 years of experience in the mining industry includes 15 years with Lac Minerals in Canada culminating in the position of Exploration Manager. For more than 15 years, he has held senior management positions in the junior sector, working on projects throughout the Americas, Eastern Europe and Indonesia, primarily in gold and silver exploration. He is the President and a director of Finlay Minerals Limited.

Brian MacEachen

 Mr. Brian D. MacEachen is Independent Director of Cangold Ltd. He is a Chartered Accountant in the Province of Nova Scotia and obtained a BBA degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 1986. Mr. MacEachen was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Linear Metals Corporation until April 24, 2012. He is currently a director of Stockport Exploration Inc. (formerly Linear Metals Corporation) and Avalon Rare Metals Inc.

Kenneth Major

 Mr. Kenneth W. Major, P.Eng. is Independent Director of Cangold Ltd. Mr. Major graduated from McGill University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1976. He brings to the Company more than 36 years of experience in the mining industry, including operations and management with Sherritt Gordon Mines and Newmont Mining. In 1987 Mr. Major joined Kilborn Engineering in Vancouver as a Senior Process Engineer and Project Manager. In 1994 he became an owner/partner in the start of Rescan Engineering Ltd., an engineering company providing feasibility study and detailed engineering services to the mining industry. Rescan Engineering Ltd. was subsequently acquired by HATCH Engineers and became the global hub for the development of mining and mineral processing engineering opportunities. In 2006 Mr. Major left HATCH Engineers to become an independent processing consultant, KWM Consulting Inc., and has continued to provide services to the mining community, including companies such as Newmont Mining, Goldcorp and Agnico-Eagle.
