| Brunck, Robert | Mr. Robert Brunck serves as Chairman of the Board and Member of the Executive Committee at CGG Veritas, effective as of July 1, 2010. He has been Chairman and Managing Director (CEO) of the Company since May 20, 1999. He is also Chairman of the Company's Strategy Committee and Technology Committee. Mr. Brunck was Vice Chairman and Managing Director from September 1998 to May 1999 and was Managing Director from February 1995 to September 1998. He joined the Company in 1985 and was Vice President of Administration and Development from 1991 to 1995 and Director of Finance and Legal Affairs from 1989 to 1991. Prior to joining CGG Veritas, he was Director of Production and Transport at EDF from 1979 to 1985 and he also worked as a senior civil servant. Mr. Brunck currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sercel Holding S.A., Chairman of the Board of Directors of CGG Americas, Director of Thales, Director of the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Geologie, Director of the Bureau of Geological and Mining Research, Director of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers, and Director of the Groupement des Entreprises Parapetrolieres et Paragazieres. Mr. Brunck graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 1969 and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Miones de Paris in 1974. |
| Lesage, Yves | Mr. Yves Lesage is Director of CGG Veritas and has been Honorary Chairman since 1999. He is also Member of the Audit Committee and Technology Committee of the Company. | Malcor, Jean-Georges | Mr. Jean-Georges Malcor has been appointed on the position of Chief Executive Officer at CGG Veritas, effective as of July 1, 2010. He began his career at the Thales group in the Underwater Activities division (1983-1987). He then moved to the Sydney-based Thomson Sintra Pacific Australia, becoming Managing Director of the company (1990). Back in France, he became Director of Marketing and Communications (1991), then Director, Foreign Operations of Thomson Sintra Activites Sous-Marines (1993). In 1996, he was appointed Managing Director of Thomson Marconi Sonar Australia and then the first Managing Director of the joint venture Australian Defense Industry (1999). In 2002, he became Senior Vice President, International Operations of Thales International. From 2004 to 2009, he was Senior Vice President, in charge of the Naval Division. Since January 2009, he was Senior Vice President, in charge of the Aerospace Division. In June 2009, he moved to the position of Senior Vice President, Continental Europe, Turkey, Russia, Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America. Mr. Malcor is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris. | Le Roux, Thierry | Mr. Thierry Le Roux is Executive Managing Director of CGG Veritas from January 2007. Prior to this, he was Appointed Managing Director in charge of Finance of CGG Veritas from September 2005. He is also Member of the Company's Executive Committee. Before that time, he had been Senior Executive Vice President of the equipment segment since 1999. Mr. Le Roux was also Executive Vice President of CGG’s Geophysical Equipment operations from March 1995 to 1999 and was Business Development Manager from 1992 to 1995 and Far East Manager from 1984 to 1992. He joined the Company in 1975 and started working as Head of Middle East Terrestrial Operations focusing on Jordan, Syria and Oman until 1980. He then moved to China to be Head of Terrestrial Operations and Treatment and in 1982, he moved to Singapore to be Head of Terrestrial Operations for the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Le Roux graduated from Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in 1993 and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in 1975. | Appert, Olivier | Mr. Olivier Appert is Director and Member of the Nominating and Remuneration Committee and Strategy Committee of CGG Veritas. He has been Chairman of the French Petroleum Institute (Institut Francais du Petrole, or IFP) since April 2003. Mr. Appert was President for Long-Term Cooperation and Energy Policy Analysis within the International Energy Agency (AIE) since October 1999. | Carroll, Loren | Mr. Loren Carroll is an Independent Member of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of CGG Veritas. He has completed Finance and Accounting studies at the University of Pennsylvania and is also a graduate of California State University. He joined Smith International in December 1984 as Vice Chairman and Director of Finance. | Young, Terence | Mr. Terence K. Young is an Independent Member of the Board of Directors and the Technology Committee of CGG Veritas. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines and started his career working as a pilot and flight instructor for the US Navy from 1969 to 1974. Subsequently, from 1979 and 1982, he was Assistant Professor of Geophysics at the Colorado School of Mines. From 1982 to 1983, he was in charge of geophysical research at Compagnie Generale de Geophysique in Denver. He holds a Masters degree in Geology and joined Amoco in 1970 to work in Denver and then in Alaska.
