In the same year he was nominated President and General Manager of Operations in Dow Jones. In January 1991 he became CEO and in July 1991 Chairman of Dow Jones. He no longer serves at Dow Jones. He is Member of the Guarantor Committee of Asia Society of the Institute fro Advanced Study of Princeton of Spelman College of Atlanta and of Aspen Institute.
