Mr. William C. Morris is an Independent Chairman of the Board of Carbo Ceramics, Inc. From December 1988 until November 2008, he served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of J. & W. Seligman & Co. Incorporated (a New York-based investment advisory firm); Chairman of the Board of Tri-Continental Corporation; and Chairman of each of the investment companies in the Seligman Group of Funds. Mr. Morris retired as a Director of Kerr-McGee Corporation in 2003. |

Mr. R. Sean Elliott is Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Carbo Ceramics Inc. He joined the Company in November 2007 as General Counsel, and was appointed as Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer in January 2008 and as a Vice President of the Company in May 2011. Mr. Don P. Conkle is Vice President - Marketing and Sales of CARBO Ceramics Inc. Mr. Conkle joins CARBO from Schlumberger, where he most recently served as Production Group Marketing and Technology Director. Mr. Conkle's career with Schlumberger began 26 years ago. Mr. Conkle held a variety of leadership positions within Schlumberger with particular emphasis on Pressure Pumping products and services and other recovery related products. Mr. Conkle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College. |
