Ernest Pinner |
Mr. Ernest S. Pinner serves as Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of CenterState Banks Inc. He also serves as Chairman of CenterState Bank of Florida, N.A., a subsidiary of the Company. He has been actively involved in the banking business in Central Florida over the past forty years. Mr. Pinner is also the chairman and/or director of each of the Company’s two subsidiary banks. He was the founding President and CEO of CenterState Bank of Florida, N.A., which was acquired by the Company in 2002. He was a director of CenterState Bank MidFlorida, N.A., which was acquired by the Company in 2006. Prior to joining the CenterState group in 1999, he had a lengthy career with First Union Bank and was the area President and Senior Vice President of First Union National Bank between 1986 and 1999. He was Chairman of CenterState Bank Central Florida, N.A. and CenterState Bank, N.A. (2002 to December 2010, at which time these two banks were merged into CenterState Bank of Florida, N.A.); Chairman of CenterState Bank of Florida, N.A. (2002 to present); Chairman of the Board (2004 to present), Chief Executive Officer and President (2002 to present) and Executive Vice President (2000 to 2001) of CenterState Holding Company; Director of Valrico State Bank (2007 to present); President and Chief Executive Officer of CenterState Bank of Florida N.A. (2000 to 2003); Chairman of CenterState Bank Mid Florida (2004 to 2007); Area President and Senior Vice President of First Union National Bank (1986 to 1999). |

Mr. Joshua A. Snively serves as an Independent Director of CenterState Banks Inc. Mr. Snively is President and CEO of Florida Chemical Company, Inc. He has been with that company since 1995 and one of four owners. The company has manufacturing facilities in Florida and Texas. Prior to joining Florida Chemical, Mr. Snively was Vice President of Commercial Agriculture Finance at SunTrust Bank and was a commercial lender for Farm Credit of Central Florida. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Citrus Management from Florida Southern College. Mr. Snively has been serving as a director of the Company’s subsidiary bank since January 2009.
