Name Description

Colin Steyn

Mr. Colin Henri Steyn has served as Non-Executive Non-Independent Chairman of the Board of Coalspur Mines Limited since September 06, 2011. He served as Non-Executive Director of the Company from October 21, 2010. Mr. Steyn is a member of the Audit Committee, and was a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committee until October 13, 2011. Mr. Steyn has over 30 years experience in the resources sector and was previously President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Toronto based LionOre Mining International Limited (LionOre) prior to it being acquired by Norilsk Nickel International (Norilsk) in 2007. He was one of the original founders of LionOre and was instrumental in the growth and development of LionOre into an international mining house. He was Non-Executive Director of Mantra Resources Limited, until its acquisition by Uranium One Inc (Uranium One). Mr. Steyn holds an MBA from Cranfield University, UK. Mr. Steyn is currently Director of Mantra Resources Limited, which is developing the Mkuju River uranium project in Tanzania and Mirabela Nickel Limited, which is developing the Santa Rita nickel project in Brazil.

Gill Winckler

Ms. Gill Winckler has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Coalspur Mines Limited since July 1, 2012. Ms. Winckler joined the Company from BHP Billiton, where she has worked for the past 15 years in a number of senior executive roles. She was Chief Development Officer of the Energy Coal division where she was responsible for BHP Billiton thermal coal business development activities and project growth pipeline around the world. She is Chartered Accountant and holds a B.Comm (Hons) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

Jay Bell

Mr. Jay Bell has served as Acting Chief Financial Officer and Vice President - Finance of Coalspur Mines Ltd since October 13, 2011. He served as Financial Controller within the Company from January 1, 2011 until October 13, 2011. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years of experience in the Canadian mining industry. He held a number of senior finance roles with Teck Coal Limited and Elk Valley Coal Limited and its predecessor companies. He is Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and gained a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge in Alberta.

Colin Gilligan

Mr. Colin Gilligan is Chief Operating Officer of Coalspur Mines Ltd since April 1, 2013. He brings 24 years of mining experience to Coalspur, having been involved in the development and operations internationally. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Gilligan served as the COO of Mitsui Coal Holdings Pty Ltd. Mr. Gilligan has experience with contract mining execution and strategy. Prior to Mitsui, Mr. Gilligan was Executive Manager - Resources Development Group for Thiess Pty Ltd. In that role, Mr. Gilligan was responsible for mining, new business and technical support across the company’s 12 mine sites which produced approximately 70 million tons per annum in Australia and Indonesia.

Richard Tremblay

Mr. Richard Tremblay has been appointed as the Vice President, Operations of Coalspur Mines Inc. Mr. Tremblay has 22 years of experience in the industry and joins Coalspur from Teck Coal where he was most recently General Manager Business Improvement - Mining and Processing. For the previous six years he was the General Manager at Teck Coal's Fording River operation located in British Columbia, Canada. Mr. Tremblay, who will be based in the company's Hinton office, will be responsible for preparing the Vista Coal Project ("Vista") for commissioning and running the mine once it is operational. Mr Tremblay will have overall responsibility for the safety and effectiveness of the operations, all environmental and health matters, production control and staff functions at Vista. Mr. Tremblay has diverse management experience in open pit coal mining and a proven track record of achieving operational targets. Mr. Tremblay has also been recognized twice as operating the open pit mine in the province of British Columbia with the lowest lost time incident frequency (2009 John Ash Award - Fording River Operation, 2005 Edward Prior Award - Line Creek Operation). Mr. Tremblay holds a Masters of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and is a professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University.

Wayne Drier

Mr. Wayne Drier has served as Vice President - Commercial of Coalspur Mines Limited since September 1, 2011. Mr. Drier has over 15 years experience in business development, commercial and corporate finance roles within mining companies and investment banks. Prior to joining Coalspur, Mr. Drier was the Commercial Executive for Mantra Resources Limited. Prior to Mantra Resources, Mr. Drier held senior management positions at Norilsk Nickel International and BHP Billiton. Whist at BHP Billiton he held the position of Vice President, Commercial for its energy coal operations in South Africa. In this role Mr. Drier was responsible for the commercial, rail and port relationships and represented BHP Billiton on the Board of the Richards Bay Coal Terminal, one of the export coal facilities in the world.

David Leslie

Mr. David Leslie has served as Vice President - Technical Services of Coalspur Mines Limited since June 1, 2010. Mr. Leslie is a Geological Engineer and is registered as a Professional Engineer (Mining) in the province of Alberta, Canada. He brings to Coalspur a mining career spanning over twenty years of experience in the coal and oil sands mining industry. Mr. Leslie most recently was working with Teck Resources as Manager of Mining Engineering. Prior to that Mr. Leslie has worked with AMEC Consulting (Principal Mining Engineer), Synenco Energy (Manager, Mine Engineering), Elk Valley Coal and Fording Coal. As Vice President - Technical Services Mr. Leslie is responsible for all phases of exploration, geology and mine engineering in the development of the Hinton Coal Project.

Mr. Simon Robertson has served as Company Secretary of Coalspur Mines Ltd since October 13, 2011. He is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Secretary and currently holds the position of Company Secretary for a number of publicly-listed companies. He was also previously Chief Financial Officer for a mining services and civil engineering company with operations internationally. He gained a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University in Western Australia and Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University in New South Wales.

Mr. Peter Binsteed Breese has served as Non-Executive Director of Coalspur Mines Ltd since September 6, 2011. Mr. Breese is a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee. He has over 25 years of operational experience in the global mining industry, having predominantly worked across southern Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania and Zimbabwe) and Australia in the uranium, nickel, platinum and chrome sectors. He has held a number of senior management positions in TSX and ASX publicly-listed companies, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mantra Resources and Chief Executive of Norilsk. He holds a PMD from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Theodore (Ted) Charles Mayers has served as Non-Executive Director of Coalspur Mines Ltd since October 13, 2011. Mr. Mayers is Chairman of the Audit Committee. He has experience in financial management within the mining sector. He has held a number of senior financial positions with publicly-listed mining companies, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Lunding Mining. He has previously served on the Boards of LionOre Mining, Mantra resources, prior to its acquisition by ARMZ, and Zaruma Resources. He is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario.

David Murray

Mr. David (Dave) John Keir Murray has served as Non-Executive Director of Coalspur Mines Ltd since October 13, 2011. Mr. Murray is a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee. He has over 30 years of international experience in the coal industry and recently held a number of senior positions with BHP Billiton, including President of Energy Coal Sector Group (2008-2009), President of Metallurgical Coal (2005-2008) and Chief Executive Officer of BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance Coal (2001-2005). Prior to this, he was Chief Executive of Billiton Coal and has also worked at Trans-Natal Coal Corporation/Ingwe Coal Corp and Gencor. Mr. Murray is currently a director of Coal of Africa Limited and Meridian Resources Limited. He has also served as Chairman of the World Coal Institute, Australian Coal Association and Richards Bay Coal Terminal, and Director of the Queensland Resource Council and Coal Industry Advisory Board (Advising International Energy Agency) and Council Member of the South African Chamber of Mines Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering.

Mark Rodda

Mr. Mark Trevor Rodda has served as Non-Executive Director of Coalspur Mines Ltd since October 13, 2011. Mr. Rodda is a member of the Audit Committee. He is a lawyer with a private practice and has in-house legal corporate consultancy experience. He is currently a partner of Napier Capital. He was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for LionOre Mining, a company with operations in Australia and Africa and listings on the TSX, LSE and ASX. He has experience in the management of local and international mergers and acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, corporate and project financing transactions and corporate restructuring initiatives. He also serves on the Board of Antipa Minerals as Non-Executive Director. He holds a BA and LLB degrees.

William Smart

Mr. William (Bill) Keith Smart has served as Non-Executive Director of Coalspur Mines Ltd since October 13, 2011. He has over 40 years of experience in the mining industry across the nickel, platinum and chrome sectors, including 26 years of working for the Anglo American Group in Zimbabwe. He has held a number of senior executive positions in the industry, including Vice President, Corporate Planning of LionOre Mining, until it was acquired by Norilsk Nickel in 2007, Managing Director of Bindura Nickel, Managing Director of Zimbabwe Alloys, as well as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of both Zimasco and Mimosa Mining Company. He also served on the Board of Mantra Resources, until its acquisition by ARM, as an Alternated Non-Executive Director. He holds a B.Com, Hons.

Denis Turcotte

Mr. Denis Turcotte has served as Independent Non-Executive Director of Coalspur Mines Ltd since December 22, 2010. Mr. Turcotte is Chairman of the Company’s Remuneration and Nominations Committee, and was a member of the Audit Committee until October 13, 2011. In 2006, he was recognized as Canadian Business Magazine’s Top Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of experience and was previously the President and CEO of Algoma Steel Inc. He oversaw the recapitalization and growth of Algoma which was acquired by Essar Global Limited in 2007. He is currently President and CEO of a private business consulting and investing firm. He is also Director of Domtar Corp. and Member of the Advisory Board of the Brookfield Special Situations Funds.
