Name Description

Edmund Shimoon

Mr. Edmund M. Shimoon is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Calvalley Petroleum Inc. He was President of the company untill June 3, 2009. Mr. Shimoon was President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of O.R.I. Energy Inc., since its incorporation, and held a similar position with the predecessor corporation to Calvalley Petroleum Inc. since 1995 and held the same positions with the Company until December 31, 1997. Since January 1, 1998, Mr. Shimoon has held the positions of Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company. He is also a Director of Calvalley Petroleum (Cyprus) Ltd.

Gerry Elms

Mr. Gerry J. Elms, B.Sc., CA, serves as Chief Financial Officer of Calvalley Petroleum Inc., sinceJune 14, 2011. Mr. Elms has over 30 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry. He was VP, Finance and Corporate Secretary of Penn West from 1997 – 2005 and was responsible for the implementation of the conversion of Penn West into one of the energy trusts in North America. From 2005 until joining Calvalley in 2011, Mr. Elms performed the role of Vice President Finance and CFO at two private companies. Prior to joining Penn West in 1994, Mr. Elms held various management positions with Petro-Canada and Nova Corporation. Mr. Elms is a Chartered Accountant by training and holds a joint honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Nottingham, England.

Zacharie Magnan

Mr. Zacharie J. Magnan, C.A., serves as Vice President - Finance of Calvalley Petroleum Inc., since June 14, 2011. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience. Mr. Magnan has been employed by the Company since December 2008. Prior to joining the Company, he occupied various positions including Associate Partner with a Calgary based public accounting firm.

Thomas Valentine

Mr. Thomas E. Valentine is Corporate Secretary, Independent Director of Calvalley Petroleum Inc. He has been Director of the company since May, 2006 and has been the Corporate Secretary since November, 2004. Mr. Valentine is a partner with Macleod Dixon LLP, where he has practiced as both a barrister and a solicitor, with a focus on energy work, for more than 20 years. Mr. Valentine returned to Calgary in 2003 from Doha, Qatar where he held the position of Senior Counsel (Projects) with Qatar Petroleum, the national oil and gas company for the State of Qatar. Mr. Valentine is currently involved in a number of international energy projects, including projects in Qatar, Oman, Iran, Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates. His work experience includes liquefied natural gas, gas-to-liquids and petrochemicals, as well as conventional oil and gas transactions. Mr. Valentine holds as B.A. from the University of British Columbia, a LL.B. from Dalhousie University, and a LL.M. from the London School of Economics. He also serves on the boards of Veraz Petroleum and NXT Energy Solutions Inc.

Bernard de Combret

Mr. Bernard Polge de Combret is Independent Director of Calvalley Petroleum Inc. He is the former Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Total (Paris), spent 24 years from 1978 to 2002 with Elf and Total Group. He held several top executive positions, including but not limited to, Chief Executive for Refining/Marketing, Chief Executive for Gas, Power, New Energy, and Chief Executive for Trading and Transportation. He was also a member of the Group's Executive Board for 11 years. Currently, B. de Combret sits on the Board of Toreador Resources Corporation (Paris) and Winstar Resources Ltd (Calgary). He is a member of the International Advisory Board of Banco Santander (Madrid). He is also a participant to the Oxford Energy Policy Club and to the Geneva Petroleum Club. He has been on the Board of several international public companies including CEPSA (Madrid), Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) (Atlanta), Banco Central Hispano (Madrid), Maurel & Prom (Paris), Petrofac Ltd. (London) and for subsidiaries of public companies (Atochem, Axa Re, Renault VI). Prior to joining the oil industry, B. de Combret was a high civil servant in France, holding senior positions in the Ministry of Finance and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. B. de Combret, French citizen, graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) in Paris.

Nikolas Perrault

Mr. Nikolas Perrault is Independent Director of Calvalley Petroleum Inc. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst who has spent the first 15 years of his career working as an investment executive with some of Canada’s institutions, including National Bank, Merrill-Lynch, CIBC and Scotia Capital. He is President, CEO and Director of Colt Resources Inc., a Canadian-based junior exploration company engaged in the acquiring, exploring and developing mineral properties with an emphasis on gold and tungsten projects in Portugal. His focus throughout his career has been on small cap resource companies. His work has focused on small companies in the energy and resource sectors in Canada and abroad, which has allowed him to develop an international network. In May 2007, he founded a management consulting company providing strategic advice to early stage energy and resource companies. Mr Perrault is also a director of TSX listed Calvalley Petroleum as well as NEX listed Bitumen Capital and is a member of the Advisory Board of Quantitative Alpha Trading. Mr. Perrault is President of Twilight Capital Inc., which is registered as an exempt market dealer in Ontario. Mr. Perrault holds a Bachelor of Commerce and obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997.

Gary Robertson

Mr. Gary Robertson is Independent Director of Calvalley Petroleum Inc., since June, 2004. He is a chartered accountant by training. Mr. Robertson has worked for the past 25 years as President of Robertson Financial Services, where he has provided financial services in several areas. He has been particularly active in private equity formations, including a number in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Robertson is one of the original shareholders of Calvalley and its predecessor corporations and was also a Director of the Company from May 1994 to February 2000.

Thomas Skupa

Mr. Thomas H. Skupa is Independent Director of Calvalley Petroleum Inc., since June 2005. Mr. Skupa graduated, with a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Alberta. As president of Cattom Enterprises Ltd., Mr. Skupa currently provides business and project development services to the engineering, procurement and construction industries, specializing in oil & gas production, petroleum refining and petrochemicals. His 40 plus years of industry experience include ten years as Executive Director, Marketing for Fluor Daniel Canada; seven years as General Manager, Natural Gas Liquids for Petro- Canada; and three years as Manager, Offshore & International Joint Ventures for Petro- Canada. Prior to that, Mr. Skupa was employed in management and engineering positions with Pacific Petroleums, Esso Chemical Canada and Imperial Oil Limited. Mr. Skupa is one of the original shareholders of Calvalley and of its predecessor corporations. As well, he was also a director of the Company from July 1995 to May 1998.

Kenneth Stephenson

Mr. Kenneth M. Stephenson is Independent Director of Calvalley Petroleum Inc., since May 2006. Mr. Stephenson is a graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan. He is the owner of Kenaco Capital Services Inc. which holds private investments in several junior oil and gas companies, controlling interest in NARSTCO Inc., a steel railway tie manufacturer in Texas, a director and officer of MinMiner Oilsands Inc. and a director of Creative Door Services Ltd., a garage and industrial door supplier. He has held private ownerships, directorships, and in some cases the position of Chief Executive Officer in the oil and gas industry in contract drilling, exploration and development, pipeline construction, manufacturing, heavy construction, gas processing and oilfield camp and catering. During his career, Mr. Stephenson has held a number of diverse commercial/industrial interests and directorships in both private and public companies.
