Rubens Ometto Silveira Mello

Mr. Rubens Ometto Silveira Mello has served Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Cosan Ltd since July 4, 2011. Between 2000 and 2009, he also acted as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of the Company. Between 2009 and July 4, 2011, he was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company. He has more than 30 years of experience in the administrative, management and financial areas. He has also served as Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Costa Pinto SA since 1980, Vice President of Pedro Ometto SA since 1980, Executive Officer and Board Member of Cosan Operadora Portuaria SA since 1998, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FBA – Franco Operadora Portuaria SA since 2001, and Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Da Barra since 2002. He also serves as Board Member at UNICA – the Federation of Sugarcane Industries of Sao Paulo State. Prior to that, he served on the Board of Directors of UNIBANCO - Uniao de Bancos Brasileiros SA from 1971 to 1973 and, from 1973 to 1980, he was Chief Financial Officer at Industrias Votorantim SA. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Sao Paulo obtained in 1972.

Mr. Marcus Vinicius Pratini de Moraes has served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since 2007. He has been Member of the Company’s Board of Directors since 2005. He served as Minister of Planning and General Coordination between 1968 and 1969, Minister of Industry and Commerce from 1970 to 1974, Minister of Mines and Energy in 1992 and Minister of Farming, Ranching and of Supply from 1999 to 2002. He has also been Chairman of Solvay do Brasil, Member of the Supervisory Board of Banco ABN-AMRO – Amsterdam, Member of the Advisory Board of BM&F, Chairman of the Board of the Brazilian Association of Industrialized Meat Exporting Factories – ABIEC, Member of the Brazil-China Entrepreneurial Board, Chairman of the Brazil-Russia Entrepreneurial Board 2004, and Vice President of the Brazilian Meat Information Service (SIC). He holds a degree in Economics from the College of Economic Sciences at the University of Rio Grande do Sul obtained in 1963, a post graduate degree in Public Administration from Deutsche Stiftung fur Entwicklungslander - Berlin obtained in 1965 and in Business Administration from Pittsburgh University & Carnegie Tech - Carnegie Institute of Technologyobtained in 1966.

Marcelo Eduardo Martins

Mr. Marcelo Eduardo Martins has served as Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer, Member of the Executive Board and Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since March 23, 2009. He joined Grupo Cosan in July 2007 as Executive at Aguassanta Participacoes SA and acted as Financial and Business Development Officer of Votorantim Cimentos between July 2003 and July 2007. Prior to that, he served as Head of the Latin American Fixed Income Department at Salomon Smith Barney in New York. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, and a specialization degree in Finance.

Marcos Marinho Lutz

Mr. Marcos Marinho Lutz has served as Chief Commercial Officer, Member of the Executive Board and Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since July 4, 2011. Prior to this, he acted as Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Executive Board and Member of the Board of Directors between 2009 and July 4, 2011. Between 2007 and 2009, he was Member of the Board of Directors of the Company. He served as Infrastructure and Energy Officer at CSN for four years and was Member of the Board of Directors of MRS Logistica, CFN Railways and Ita Energetica. Before that, he was Operations Officer of Ultracargo SA. He graduated in Naval Engineering from Universidade de Sao Paulo and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Burkhard Otto Cordes

Mr. Burkhard Otto Cordes has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since 2005. He worked at Banco BBM SA, in the commercial area with focus on the middle market and corporate segments. He holds the position of Financial Manager at Banco BBM SA. Previously, he worked in the financial area of IBM Brazil. He graduated in Business Administration from Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado in 1997 and holds an MBA degree in Finance from Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais obtained in 2001.

Mr. Marcelo de Souza Scarcela Portela has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since 2007. Since 2000, he has been Partner at Portela Advogados Associados SC. He holds a degree in Law from Universidade de Sao Paulo obtained in 1983 and a Master's degree in Commercial Law from Universidade de Sao Paulo obtained in 1988 with the specialization from McGill University Law School obtained in 1990.

Pedro Isamu Mizutani

Mr. Pedro Isamu Mizutani has served as Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since 2000. He has more than 20 years of experience in finance and administration in the sugar and ethanol sectors. He served as Supervisor of Planning at Costa Pinto SA from 1983 to 1987, as Financial Manager from 1987 to 1988 and as Administrative and Financial Director from 1988 to 1990. From 1990 to 2001, he acted as the Group’s Administrative and Financial Director. He graduated in Production Engineering from Escola Politecnica da Universidade de Sao Paulo in 1982 and obtained a post graduate degree in Finance from UNIMEP-Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba in 1986. He also holds an MBA degree in Business Management from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, with a degree from Ohio University obtained in 2001.

Mailson Ferreira da Nobrega

Mr. Mailson Ferreira da Nobrega has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since November 2007. He was Brazil’s Finance Minister from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, he acted as Head of Banco do Brasil’s Project Analysis Department, Chief Coordinator of Economic Affairs of the Industry and Commerce Ministry and General Secretary of the Finance Ministry. He was Chief Executive Officer of Banco Europeu Brasileiro - EUROBRAZ - in London. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of Abyara Planejamento Imobiliario, CSU Cardsystem SA, Grendene SA, Portobello SA, Rodobens Negocios Imobiliarios SA, Tim Participacoes SA and Veracel Celulose SA. He graduated in Economics.

Helio Franca

Mr. Helio Franca Filho has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since August 2009. He joined Gavea’s Illiquid Strategies Group in April 2007, focusing on the commodities sector. He began his career at Sucres & Denrees group, where he worked from 1984 to 1985. He joined Louis Dreyfus group in New York, where he was in charge of the Latin American sugar and ethanol market from 1985 to 1996. From 2000 to 2007, he was Director of Brazilian Operations at Noble grou. He has a degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro.

George Pataki

Mr. George E. Pataki has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since 2007. He was Partner at the New York law offices of Plunkett & Jaffe until 1987. He was elected Mayor of Peekskill in 1981 and served in the New York state legislature from 1985 to 1994 as Representative and Senator. In 1994, he became Governor of the State of New York and held this position till 2002. He is Board Member of Chadbourne & Parke LLP. He holds a Bachelor's degree from the Yale University obtained in 1967 and a degree in Law from the Columbia Law School obtained in 1970.

Jose Alexandre Scheinkman

Mr. Jose Alexandre Scheinkman has served as Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Cosan Ltd since August 2007. He is Professor of Economics at the Princeton University. He is Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Econometric Society, he was awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa by Universite Paris-Dauphine. In 2002, he worked as Research Professor of Blaise Pascal. He is Member of the Scientific Council of Europlace Institute of Finance and of the Academic Council of the Brazilian Institute for Capital Markets - IBMEC. Formerly, he was Professor and Director of the Economics Department of the University of Chicago, Vice President for Financial Strategies of Goldman, Sachs & Co, Co-Editor of the Journal of Political Economy and Member of the Economic Advisory Group for the Sloan Foundation. He gained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro in 1969, a Master's degree in Economics in 1973 and a Doctorate degree in Economics in 1974 both from University of Rochester. He also received a Master's degree in Mathematics from Instituto de Matematica Pura e Aplicada in 1976.
