Name Description

Fazrin Azwar bin Md. Nor

Encik Fazrin Azwar bin Md. Nor has been Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Daya Materials Berhad since August 25, 2016. He was appointed to the Board on May 30, 2005. He graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Law (LLB) Honors Degree. He is an Advocate and Solicitor and a member of the Malaysian BAR. He is currently the Managing Partner of Messrs. Azwar & Associates. He is also currently an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Mercury Industries Berhad, an Independent Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee member of both Poh Kong Holdings Berhad and Tong Herr Resources Berhad and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Ire-Tex Corporation Berhad, all listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Times Offset (M) Sdn. Bhd. and a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the Kuchinta Holdings Group of Companies. He is also a chartered member of The Malaysian Institute of Directors and The Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia. He is the chairman of the Audit Committee. He is a member of the Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Thean Shiang Lim

Datuk Lim Thean Shiang serves as Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Daya Materials Berhad since March 24, 2015. He holds Bachelor of Law (LLB) from University of London and Bachelor of Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Datuk Lim has began his career as a Marketing Executive with TA Construction & Properties Sdn Bhd in 1994. He joined Wayteam Sdn Bhd in 1996 as a Business Development Manager. In 1997, he moved to Ideal Palms Sdn Bhd as the Personal Advisor to the Chairman. He set up his own businesses in 1999 and was appointed as Director in several private companies. From 2008 to 2009, he was appointed as General Manager of Port Klang Authority and Executive Chairman of Port Klang Free Zone. He is currently sits on the Board of several companies within the Felda Global Ventures Group of Companies. He has served on the board of Pontian United Plantations Berhad and MSM Malaysia Holdings Berhad.

Rayburn Azhar bin Ali

Mr. Rayburn Azhar bin Ali serves as Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Daya Materials Berhad since April 1, 2015. He graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame, USA. With 23 years of working experience, he started out in the financial sector with various organisations in Chicago, USA. Upon his return to Malaysia, he has been working in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industry. He joined Daya Secadyme Sdn Bhd ("DSSB"), a subsidiary of Daya Materials Berhad ("DMB"), in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer. He was promoted to Chief Executive Officer ("CEO") and made a Director of DSSB in 2010. In 2013, he was appointed as DMB’s Group Chief Operating Officer – Downstream Oil & Gas, in addition to maintaining his role of CEO of DSSB. In his new role as DMB’s Deputy Group CEO, he will mainly responsible for leading and driving the various businesses of DMB. In particular, Mr. Rayburn will play a key and strategic role in expanding DMB’s Downstream Oil & Gas Division.

Jooi Loon Tham

Mr. Tham Jooi Loon serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Daya Materials Berhad since March 29, 2015. He joined the board on May 30, 2005. He graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1988 with a Master of Business Administration specializing in corporate finance. He is also a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst. He started his career as a credit analyst with Chase Manhattan Bank in Kuala Lumpur in 1989. In 1995, he joined UBS and later became its Executive Director responsible for Malaysian investment banking and Asia-Pacific Mergers and Acquisitions practices. In 2003, Mr. Tham was appointed as a Director of Tradewinds Corporation Berhad and PIHP (Selangor) Berhad, both posts he held until 2005. Presently, he is a Director of several private companies in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

Ee Seong Yap

Mr. Yap Ee Seong has been Chief Financial Officer at DAYA MATERIALS BERHAD since January 1, 2016. He holds Bachelor of Commerce, Australia National University, Australia. He is CPA, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He has more than 24 years of experience in audit, tax, financial, operational and administration experience in trading, manufacturing, engineering, credit and charge cards, property development, commercial and retail property investment and hospitality industries. He started his career in a public accounting firm, Coopers and Lybrand (now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers). He then served for 18 years within Johan Holdings Berhad before joining Daya Materials Berhad ("Daya"). He has been the Acting Chief Financial Officer of Daya Group for five months.

Bee Ling Chen

Ms. Chen Bee Ling serves as Joint Secretary of Daya Materials Bhd since February 26, 2013. She is an associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA). She has more than 12 years working experience in the corporate secretarial field, having worked in management service firms and public listed companies.

Encik Aminudin Bin Mohd Arif has been Independent Non-Executive Director of Daya Materials Berhad since October 1, 2014. He passed the Level 1 Chartered Financial Analyst and holds Master of Arts in Economics from Robinson College, University of Cambridge, UK. He was Economist at the Research Department of Sime Securities Sdn Bhd, Marketing Executive at Sime AXA Assurance Sdn Bhd, Senior Executive - Corporate Planning at Consolidated Plantations Bhd, Special Officer to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Malaysia at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Private Secretary to the Minister of Education of Malaysia, Private Secretary to the Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia and Principal Private Secretary to the Minister of Transport of Malaysia.

Kin Lip Koh

Tan Sri Dato' Sri Koh Kin Lip (Richard) is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Daya Materials Berhad. He was appointed to the Board on December 22, 2008. He graduated from Plymouth Polytechnic, UK with a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies and a Council’s Diploma in Management Studies. He began his career in Standard Chartered Bank in 1977 as a trainee assistant. In 1978 he joined his family business and was principally involved in administrative and financial matters. In 1985, he assumed the role as a Chief Executive Officer of the family business. In 1987 he was involved in the formation of Rickoh Holdings Sdn. Bhd., the flagship company of the family business. Presently he is also the Director of Malaysian AE Models Holdings Berhad, NPC Resources Berhad and Cocoaland Holdings Berhad. He is the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Nomination Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of the Company.

Soon Foo Lim

Mr. Lim Soon Foo is Independent Non-Executive Director of Daya Materials Bhd. He was appointed on August 15, 2011. Mr. Lim was admitted as Member of The Chartered Institute of Shipbrokers, London since 1979 and currently serving as Chairman and Principal Advisor to Wajah Nichiei Sdn. Bhd., Optic Marine Services International Limited (Hong Kong), Optic Marine Engineering International Limited providing services in the optic fiber submarine cable industry which extend into many countries in Asia Pacific region. Mr. Lim also sits in the board of several other companies involved in plantation, logging and real estates.
