Name Description

Franz Humer

 Dr. Franz B. Humer is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Diageo PLC. Appointed chairman of Diageo plc in July 1, 2008, having been a non-executive director since April 2005. He is also chairman of F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd in Switzerland and chairman of INSEAD’s board of directors. He was formerly chief operating director of Glaxo Holdings plc and has held a number of other non-executive directorships.

Paul Walsh

 Mr. Paul Steven Walsh is no longer an Executive Director of Diageo PLC., effective September 2013. He will no longer serve Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective July 1, 2013. He has served in a number of management roles since joining GrandMet’s brewing division in 1982, including chief executive officer of The Pillsbury Company. He was appointed to the GrandMet board in October 1995 and to the Diageo plc board in December 1997. He is lead non-executive and deputy chair of the board of the Department of Energy and Climate Change, a non-executive director of Unilever PLC and a nonexecutive director of FedEx Corporation in the United States. Previously, Mr. Ho has served as a non-executive director at Singapore Airlines Ltd and Standard Chartered Plc as well as Chairman of MediaCorp Pte Ltd and Singapore Power Ltd. He was educated in Tunghai University, Taiwan; Stanford University, California and the University of Singapore. He worked as a journalist and was the Economics Editor of the Far Eastern Economic Review. In May 2000, Mr Ho was conferred an honorary doctorate by Johnson & Wales University, and later received the London Business School 2005 Entrepreneurship Award. In 2008, he was named CEO of the Year at the Singapore Corporate Awards. In 2009, he was the recipient of the Hospitality Lifetime Achievement Award at the China Hotel Investment Summit in Shanghai. As Chairman of Singapore Management University (SMU), Mr Ho was awarded the Singapore Government's Meritorious Service Medal for his contribution in the founding of SMU. In 2010, he became the first Asian to receive the ACA (American Creativity Association) Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his creativity and innovation in various spheres of endeavour. In 2011, he was voted top Thinker in Singapore in the Yahoo! Singapore 9 Awards, a testament to his business innovations and leadership in civic causes.

 Dr. Peggy B. Bruzelius is Non-Executive Independent Director of Diageo PLC. Appointed a non-executive director of Diageo plc in April 2009. She is chairman of Lancelot Asset Management and vice chairman of Electrolux AB, both in Sweden, and sits on the boards of Akzo Nobel NV in the Netherlands, Syngenta AG in Switzerland and Axfood AB and Husqvarna AB in Sweden. She was formerly managing director of ABB Financial Services AB and headed the asset management arm of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. She was also a nonexecutive director of Scania AB.
