Hendricks, John John S. Hendricks is Chairman of the Board of Discovery Communications Inc since September 17, 2008. Mr. Hendricks is a director of Discovery Communications Inc. since September 2008. Mr. Hendricks is the Founder of Discovery and has served as Chairman of Discovery since September 1982. Mr. Hendricks served as Chief Executive Officer of Discovery from September 1982 to June 2004; and Interim Chief Executive Officer of Discovery from December 2006 to January 2007. Mr. Hendricks continues to provide leadership vision for Discovery’s content initiatives and also chairs Discovery’s Global Content Committee.
Zaslav, David David M. Zaslav is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Discovery Communications Inc. since September 2008. Mr. Zaslav has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Discovery since January 2007. He became Discovery’s General Counsel and also was given responsibility for Discovery’s Business Affairs group in 1996. From 2003 to 2007, Hollinger was Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations and General Counsel. Prior to being named COO in January 2008, he served as President, Global Businesses and Operations, and General Counsel. Before joining Discovery, Hollinger was a Senior Associate in the entertainment department of the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York City. He also lectured on entertainment law at Columbia Law School. Hollinger received his J.D. from Yale Law School and holds a B.A. degree (summa cum laude) in history and political science from Colgate University.
Campbell, Bruce Bruce L. Campbell is President - Digital Media & Corporate Development of Discovery Communications Inc. Mr. Campbell has served as President, Digital Media & Corporate Development of Discovery since March 2007. Liguori, Peter Peter Liguori has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Discovery Communications Inc. effective January 19, 2010. In addition to his operational responsibilities, Mr. Liguori serves as the lead executive representing Discovery Communications in its joint ventures with Hasbro, Inc., and OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network. Mr. Liguori joined Fox/Liberty Networks in 1996 as Senior Vice President, Marketing for a new joint venture, which now includes Fox Sports Net, FX, Fox Sports World, SPEED and the National Geographic Channel. Prior to joining Fox, Liguori was Vice President, Consumer Marketing at HBO. He also held several positions in HBO's Home Video Division, including Vice President, Marketing and Senior Vice President, Marketing, where his duties included the creation and implementation of marketing programs for all HBO Home Video product expansion and the development of its programming line-up. Mr. Liguori also has experience as a producer of the widely acclaimed independent feature film, "Big Night." Prior to HBO, he worked in advertising at Ogilvy & Mather and Saatchi & Saatchi.
