Name Description

Charles Ergen

Mr. Charles W. Ergen has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Company., effective March 31, 2015. Charlie Ergen co-founded DISH more than 30 years ago and currently acts as Chairman of both DISH and EchoStar. In June 2011, he stepped down from his role as President and CEO of DISH to focus on long-term business development and acquisition tactics in an effort to reach new markets, expand product and service offerings and bolster the company’s customer base. A prominent leader in the satellite and telecommunications industries, Ergen has received numerous accolades for his renowned career as a brilliant entrepreneur. Most recently, he was among the 2012 class of inductees into the Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame, and was named one of Barron’s “World’s Best CEOs” and listed among Forbes “Top 10 CEOs” in 2007. In 2001, Ergen was honored as Frost & Sullivan’s “CEO of the Year in the Satellite Industry” award, and became the first person to win the Rocky Mountain News “Business Person of the Year” for the second time. Instrumental in the fight to allow American consumers access to local channels via satellite, he helped secure the passage of the Satellite Home Viewer Improvement Act in 1999 and was co-founder of the Satellite Broadcasting Communications Association. Ergen received his Bachelor of Science in General Business and Accounting from the University of Tennessee and his Master of Business Administration from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University. An avid mountain climber and member of the Colorado Mountain Club, Ergen has climbed all of the state’s 14 thousand foot peaks, scaled Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mount Aconcagua in Argentina and the Mount Everest base camp in Nepal.

Joseph Clayton

Mr. Joseph P. Clayton is no longer President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Dish Network Corp effective March 31, 2015. Prior to his appointment at DISH, Clayton served as chairman of Sirius Satellite Radio Inc., from November 2004 through July 2008 and served as chief executive officer of Sirius from November 2001 through November 2004. Before joining Sirius, Clayton served as president of Global Crossing North America, as president and chief executive officer of Frontier Corporation and as executive vice president of Marketing and Sales for the Americas and Asia of Thomson S.A. Clayton has received numerous accolades throughout his career including Bellarmine University Alumni of the Year in 1996, and induction into both the Indiana University School of Business and Consumer Electronics Hall of Fame in 2008. He was a four-year member of the EchoStar Corporation Board of Directors and a former Chairman of the Consumer Electronics Association. Currently, Clayton is a Trustee for Bellarmine University in Kentucky where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He earned his Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Management from Indiana University where he sits on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Indiana School of Business. A man of many interests, Clayton has won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award and has traveled throughout the world. In his downtime, he enjoys watching Kentucky basketball, hunting and spending time with his family.

Steven Swain

Mr. Steven E. Swain is appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of the Company effective October 1, 2014. He has served as DISH Network’s Senior Vice President of Programming since April 2014, overseeing the acquisition and renewal of all programming content for DISH, including national network and cable channels, Latino content, local broadcast stations and premium services such as HBO, Showtime and Starz. Mr. Swain joined DISH in 2011 as Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to DISH, Mr. Swain spent more than 15 years working in the telecommunications sector, most recently at CenturyLink, formerly Qwest Communications. There he served in multiple leadership roles across Finance, including corporate financial planning and analysis, treasury and investor relations, as well as in network engineering. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

Roger Lynch

Mr. Roger J. Lynch is Chief Executive Officer- Sling TV Holding L.L.C. a subsidiary of Dish Network Corp., since December 2014. Mr. Lynch also serves as EchoStar’s Executive Vice President, Advanced Technologies. In addition, in July 2012, Mr. Lynch was named Chief Executive Officer of DISH Digital Holding L.L.C., an entity which is owned two-thirds by the company and one-third by EchoStar (“DISH Digital”). Prior to joining DISH Network, Mr. Lynch served as Chairman and CEO of Video Networks International, Ltd., an internet protocol television (“IPTV”) technology company in the United Kingdom from 2002 until 2009.

Bernard Han

Mr. Bernard L. Han is Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of Dish Network Corp. He is in charge of all operations and information technology functions for DISH Network. Mr. Han served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of DISH Network from September 2006 until April 2009. Mr. Han also served as EchoStar’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from January 2008 to June 2010 pursuant to a management services agreement between DISH Network and EchoStar. From October 2002 to May 2005, Mr. Han served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Northwest Airlines, Inc.

Mike McClaskey

Mr. Mike McClaskey is Chief Human Resource Officer, Executive Vice President of the Company. Before joining DISH in 2007, McClaskey spent 12 years at Perot Systems, where he served as the corporation's vice president of infrastructure solutions and chief information officer, responsible for IT strategy and operating customer-facing network, service center and data center outsourcing operations. Under McClaskey's direction, DISH's IT department received CIO magazine's 25th annual CIO 100 award for undertaking a massive enterprise-wide information technology overhaul that advanced DISH's ability to deliver customer service and manage its national operations. The initiative resulted in the largest billing conversion in U.S. telecommunications in many years, the largest cloud-based mobile workforce management system implementation in North America, new IVR and customer care systems, and a new state-of-the-art data center and optical network. In 2013 he was named CIO of the Year by the Denver Business Journal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Science in Education from Truman State University, where he sits on the Foundation Board. He received his Master's degree from the University of Missouri.

R. Dodge

Mr. R. Stanton Dodge is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of Dish Network Corp., since June 2007. He is responsible for all legal and government affairs for DISH Network and its subsidiaries. Mr. Dodge has served on the Board of Directors of EchoStar since March 2009. Mr. Dodge also served as EchoStar’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary from October 2007 to November 2011 pursuant to a management services agreement between DISH Network and EchoStar. Since joining DISH Network in November 1996, he has held various positions of increasing responsibility in DISH Network’s legal department.

James DeFranco

Mr. James DeFranco is Executive Vice President, Director of Dish Network Corp. He has been one of the vice presidents and a member of the Board since formation. During the past five years he has held various executive officer and director positions with DISH Network and subsidiaries. Mr. DeFranco co-founded DISH Network with Charles W. Ergen and Cantey M. Ergen in 1980.

W. Erik Carlson

Mr. W. Erik Carlson is Executive Vice President, In-Home Service and Manufacturing Operations of Dish Network Corp. He is responsible for overseeing the company's residential and commercial installations, customer billing and equipment retrieval and refurbishment operations. Mr. Carlson previously was Senior Vice President of Retail Services, a position he held since mid-2006. He joined DISH Network in 1995 and has held operating roles of increasing responsibility over the years.

Thomas Cullen

Mr. Thomas A. Cullen is Executive Vice President - Corporate Development of Dish Network Corp. Mr. Cullen served as the company's Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Programming from April 2009 until July 2011 and as the company's Executive Vice President, Corporate Development from December 2006 until April 2009. Before joining DISH Network, Mr. Cullen served as President of TensorComm, a venture-backed wireless technology company. From August 2003 to April 2005, Mr. Cullen was with Charter Communications Inc., serving as Senior Vice President, Advanced Services and Business Development from August 2003 until he was promoted to Executive Vice President in August 2004.

Michael Kelly

Mr. Michael Kelly is Executive Vice President of Dish Network Corp., since January 2014. Mr. Kelly served as the company's Executive Vice President, Direct, Commercial and Advertising Sales from December 2005 until May 2011 and as Executive Vice President of DISH Network Service L.L.C. and Customer Service from February 2004 until December 2005.

David Shull

Mr. David Shull is Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer of Dish Network Corp. Previously Mr. Shull was senior vice president of programming at DISH, where he was responsible for the acquisition and renewal of programming content, which includes national cable channels, Latino and international content, local broadcast stations and premium services such as HBO, Showtime and Starz. He also oversaw the DISH Cinema, DISHWorld and digital content businesses. Mr. Shull joined DISH in 2004 as director and assistant to Chairman Charlie Ergen. He served numerous roles at DISH's headquarters in the U.S., including vice president of U.S. operations, and spent three years in Hong Kong as managing director of EchoStar International. Before his time at DISH, Mr. Shull held various leadership positions with venture capital funded high-tech companies involved in the enterprise software industry and as a principal at strategy consulting firm, the Parthenon Group.

Cantey Ergen

Mrs. Cantey M. Ergen is Director of Dish Network Corp., since May 2001. Mrs. Ergen since May 2001, is currently a Senior Advisor. Mrs. Ergen served as a member of the board of directors of Children’s Hospital Colorado from 2001 to 2012, and is now an honorary lifetime member. Mrs. Ergen also served on the board of trustees of Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation from 2000 to 2001. Mrs. Ergen co-founded DISH Network with, Charles W. Ergen, and James DeFranco, in 1980.

David Moskowitz

Mr. David K. Moskowitz is Director of Dish Network Corp. Mr. Moskowitz is one of the Company's Senior Advisors and was an Executive Vice President as well as Secretary and General Counsel until 2007. Mr. Moskowitz joined the company in March 1990. He was elected to the Board in 1998. Mr. Moskowitz performs certain business functions for the company and its subsidiaries from time to time. From October 2007 until May 2012, Mr. Moskowitz served as a member of the board of directors of EchoStar.

Carl Vogel

Mr. Carl E. Vogel, CPA, is Director of Dish Network Corp., since May 2005. He served as President from September 2006 until February 2008 and served as Vice Chairman from June 2005 until March 2009. From October 2007 until March 2009, Mr. Vogel served as the Vice Chairman of the board of directors of, and as a Senior Advisor to, EchoStar. From 2001 until 2005, Mr. Vogel served as the President and CEO of Charter Communications Inc. (“Charter”), a publicly-traded company providing cable television and broadband services to approximately six million customers. Prior to joining Charter, Mr. Vogel worked as an executive officer in various capacities for companies affiliated with Liberty Media Corporation. Mr. Vogel was one of executive officers from 1994 until 1997, including serving as President from 1995 until 1997. Mr. Vogel is also currently serving on the boards of directors of Shaw Communications, Inc., Sirius, Universal Electronics, Inc. and Ascent Media Corporation.

George Brokaw

Mr. George R. Brokaw, J.D., has been appointed as Independent Director of DISH Network Corporation, effective October 7, 2013. Mr. Brokaw is currently a Managing Director of the Highbridge Growth Equity Fund at Highbridge Principal Strategies, LLC (“Highbridge”) and will serve in this capacity until September 30, 2013. Prior to joining Highbridge in 2012, Mr. Brokaw was a Managing Partner and Head of Private Equity at Perry Capital, L.L.C. (“Perry”). Mr. Brokaw also served as a director to several companies including: North American Energy Partners Inc., Capital Business Credit LLC, Timberstar, and Value Place Holdings LLC. Prior to joining Perry in 2005, Mr. Brokaw was Managing Director (Mergers & Acquisitions) of Lazard Frères & Co. LLC. Mr. Brokaw received a B.A. from Yale University and a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Virginia. Mr. Brokaw is a member of the New York Bar.

Steven Goodbarn

Mr. Steven R. Goodbarn is Independent Director of Dish Network Corp., since December 2002. Since July 2002, Mr. Goodbarn has served as director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Secure64 Software Corporation, a company he co-founded. Mr. Goodbarn was Chief Financial Officer of Janus Capital Corporation (“Janus”) from 1992 until late 2000. During that time, he was a member of the executive committee and served on the board of directors of many Janus corporate and investment entities. Mr. Goodbarn is a CPA and spent 12 years at Price Waterhouse prior to joining Janus.

Charles Lillis

Mr. Charles M. Lillis is Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Lillis is currently an advisor to Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (“Wells Fargo”). Previously, Mr. Lillis was a co-founder and managing partner of Castle Pines Capital LLC (“Castle Pines Capital”) a private equity concern and a financial services entity. Castle Pines Capital was acquired by Wells Fargo in 2011. Mr. Lillis was also previously a co-founder and principal of LoneTree Capital Management LLC (“LoneTree Capital Management”), a private equity investing group formed in 2000. Prior to LoneTree Capital Management, Mr. Lillis served as Chairman of the board of directors and Chief Executive Officer of MediaOne Group, Inc. from its inception in 1995 through its acquisition by AT&T Corp., which was completed in 2000. Mr. Lillis also has served on the boards of the following public companies: Medco Health Solutions, Inc. from 2005 to 2012; SUPERVALU Inc. from 1995 to 2011; The Williams Companies Inc. from 2000 to 2009; and Washington Mutual, Inc. from 2005 to 2009. The Board concluded that Mr. Lillis should serve as a member of the Board due, among other things, to his financial and managerial experience.

Afshin Mohebbi

Mr. Afshin Mohebbi is Independent Director of the Company., effective September 8, 2014. Mr. Mohebbi is a private investor and advisor to public and private companies. Mr. Mohebbi has been a Senior Advisor to TPG Capital since March 2003. Prior to TPG Capital, Mr. Mohebbi was President and Chief Operating Officer of Qwest Communications International, Inc. (“Qwest”) from April 2001 to December 2002. From July 2000 to April 2001, Mr. Mohebbi served as President, Worldwide Operations of Qwest. From June 1999 to July 2000, Mr. Mohebbi served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Qwest prior to its merger with US WEST, Inc. Before joining Qwest, Mr. Mohebbi served as President and managing director of the United Kingdom Markets for British Telecom and was a member of its management board from 1997 to 1999. Prior to British Telecom, Mr. Mohebbi served as Vice President-Marketing for SBC Communications, Inc., following its acquisition of Pacific Bell in 1997. Mr. Mohebbi began his career with Pacific Bell in 1983, where he held a variety of positions, including Vice President-Business Markets. Mr. Mohebbi previously served on the board of directors of Hanaro Telecom Incorporated from 2005 to 2007 and the board of directors of BearingPoint, Inc. from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Mohebbi also serves on the boards of directors of several private companies.

Tom Ortolf

Mr. Tom A. Ortolf is Independent Director of Dish Network Corp., since May 2005. Mr. Ortolf has been the President of CMC, a privately held investment management firm, for nearly twenty years. The Board has determined that Mr. Ortolf meets the independence requirements of NASDAQ and SEC rules and regulations. Since October 2007, Mr. Ortolf has also served as a member of the board of directors of EchoStar.
