Name Description

John Kenyon

Mr. J. Michael P. Kenyon serves as Executive Chairman of the Board of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Kenyon is a mining executive with a Master of Science degree (Geology) from the University of Alberta, possessing more than 35 years experience in the international mining industry. Mr. Kenyon was a founding director of Cumberland Resources Ltd., which was acquired by Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited in 2007. In 2002, he co-founded and became President and Chief Executive Officer of Canico Resource Corp. which was acquired by Compania Vale do Rio Doce in 2005. Mr. Kenyon was also a founding director of Sutton Resources Ltd. and served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1983 until its acquisition by Barrick Gold Corporation in 1999. From 1999 to 2002, he was a consultant to Barrick. In 2005, Mr. Kenyon received the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada’s Developer of the Year Award in recognition for excellence in mining development.

Peter Crossgrove

Mr. Peter E. Crossgrove Lead Independent Director, Non-Executive Co-Chairman of the Board of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Crossgrove is a corporate director. He is the former Chairman and a founder of Masonite International Corporation, a door manufacturing company, and a director of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. Mr. Crossgrove holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a Sloan Fellow of the Doctoral Program at Harvard Business School. Mr. Crossgrove is a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Medal, a Member of the Order of Canada, and a Member of the Order of Ontario. Mr. Crossgrove is currently the Chairman and Chief Residence: Executive Officer of Excellon Resources Inc., a producer of silver-lead and silver-zinc concentrate. Prior to January 1993, Mr. Crossgrove was Vice Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Placer Dome Inc.

Gerald Panneton

Mr. Gerald S. Panneton is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Panneton is a geologist with over 25 years of experience in mineral exploration and development, is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Panneton served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Minerals Corporation from 2006 to 2008, and was Director of Advanced Projects and Evaluation for the Exploration-Corporate Development group at Barrick Gold Corporation from 1998 to 2006. Mr. Panneton has also worked for Lac Minerals Ltd., Placer Dome Exploration Inc. and Vior-Mazarin Group. Mr. Panneton obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Montréal and his Master of Science degree in Geology from McGill University. Mr. Panneton received the 2012 Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada’s Bill Dennis award for his leadership of the team that advanced the Detour Lake property.

Paul Martin

Mr. Paul D. Martin is Chief Financial Officer of Detour Gold Corporation since September 22, 2008. Mr. Martin is a mining finance executive with over 20 years of experience, the last 17 years directly focused on Canadian and international precious metals mining and exploration. He most recently served as the CFO and VP of Finance for New Gold Inc., as well as held various senior corporate finance positions with Gabriel Resources, European Goldfields, TVX Gold, Lac Minerals and Westminer Canada a subsidiary of Western Mining Corporation in Australia. Mr. Martin is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and received a B. A. from the University of Western Ontario in 1984.

Pierre Beaudoin

Mr. Pierre Beaudoin has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Detour Gold Corporation effective March 8, 2013. Mr. Beaudoin is a mineral processing professional with over 25 years of international operating and project development experience. Prior to joining Detour Gold, Mr. Beaudoin spent the last 16 years with Barrick Gold Corporation, most recently as the Director of Projects in the Capital Projects Group. Prior to joining Barrick Gold Corporation, Mr. Beaudoin worked for Lac Minerals and Noranda Minerals. Mr. Beaudoin received a Mineral Processing Diploma from the Collège de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue in 1984.

James Mavor

Mr. James W. Mavor serves as Vice President - Finance of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Mavor is a mining finance professional with over 18 years of experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining Detour Gold, he served as the Vice President and Treasurer for Barrick Gold Corporation from 2007 to 2012, where he had global responsibility for all treasury activities and liquidity management including banking, lending and trading relationships. From 1994 to 2007, Mr. Mavor held the positions of Operations Controller; Director of Treasury Operations; and Vice President of Investor Relations at Barrick Gold Corporation. Mr. Mavor is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and received a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University.

Julie Galloway

Ms. Julie Galloway serves as Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Detour Gold Corporation. Ms. Galloway is a lawyer with 18 years of corporate legal experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining Detour Gold, Ms. Galloway served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for FNX Mining Company Inc. Prior to joining FNX Mining Company Inc., Ms. Galloway served as General Counsel for Dynatec Corporation and in various capacities with Falconbridge/Noranda (now Xstrata) including as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, prior to which she worked at the law firm of Blake, Cassels and Graydon. Ms. Galloway received a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Economics and Political Science from the University of Waterloo and an LL.B. from the University of Toronto.

Rachel Pineault

Ms. Rachel Pineault serves as Vice President - Human Resources and Northern Affairs of Detour Gold Corporation. Ms. Pineault joined Detour Gold in 2010 as Director, Human Resources and was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources and Northern Affairs in September 2011. Prior to joining Detour Gold, Ms. Pineault worked at De Beers Canada from 2004 to 2010 where she held the position of Manager, Human Resources and Aboriginal Affairs. Ms. Pineault is currently working towards her Law and Justice degree from Laurentian University.

Patrick Donovan

Mr. Patrick Donovan is Vice President - Corporate Development of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Donovan is a geologist with over 30 years of mineral exploration and project development experience. Prior to joining Detour Gold, he was employed by Hunter Dickinson Inc. from 2006 to 2008 to manage the feasibility study of the Xietongmen copper-gold project in China for Continental Minerals Corporation. He delivered, on schedule, positive feasibility studies for both the Chinese and Canadian requirements. From 1999 to 2006, he was with Barrick Gold Corporation managing advanced exploration projects in Tanzania (Tulawaka and Buzwagi projects). Previously, he managed all exploration programs for Consolidated Trillion Resources Ltd. in Zimbabwe. He was with Placer Dome Inc. from 1991 to 1996 responsible for Québec exploration activities. Mr. Donovan received a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Saint Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia, Canada.

James Robertson

Mr. James Robertson serves as Vice President - Environment and Sustainability of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Robertson joined Detour Gold in 2010 as Director, Environment and was promoted to Vice President, Environment and Sustainability in September 2011. Prior to joining Detour Gold, Mr. Robertson worked at Barrick Gold Corporation where he served as Director of Approvals and Sustainability. Prior to working at Barrick Gold Corporation, Mr. Robertson worked at Placer Dome in the Corporate office from 1989 to 2006 where he held the position of Director of Environment Technical Services. Mr. Robertson received his Bachelors of Applied Science in Mineral Engineering in 1973 and his Masters of Engineering in Mineral Engineering in Environment Management in 1976, both from the University of British Columbia.

Derek Teevan

Mr. Derek Teevan serves as Vice President - Aboriginal and Governmental Affairs of Detour Gold Corporation. Prior to joining Detour Gold, Mr. Teevan worked at De Beers Canada from 2004 to 2009 where he progressed to the position of Director, Government and Corporate Affairs. Prior to working with De Beers Canada, Mr. Teevan was a consultant in business development and strategic planning, including Special Advisor for the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development where he was involved in economic development and land claim initiatives. Mr. Teevan received his Masters in Environmental Studies from York University in 1997.

Louis Dionne

Mr. Louis Dionne, P. Eng., is Director of Detour Gold Corporation since September 25, 2006. He is a mining engineer and self-employed mining consultant who obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Laval University. Mr. Dionne has spent over 30 years in the operation and development of gold properties, most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer of Richmont Mines Inc., a Canadian gold producer. Prior to his service with Richmont, Mr. Dionne was Senior Vice President, Underground Operations for Barrick Gold Corporation, where he also provided technical input and leadership in the area of corporate mergers and acquisitions.

Robert Doyle

Mr. Robert E. Doyle is Independent Director of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Doyle is a mining executive and chartered accountant with more than 30 years experience in all facets of international resource exploration, development and production. Most recently, Mr. Doyle co-founded Medoro Resources Limited and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to 2009. Mr. Doyle has also held senior executive positions at several other mining and resource companies, and was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Stratus Energy Ltd. from 2006 to 2007, Chief Financial Officer of Coalcorp Mining Inc. from 2005 to 2007 and Chief Financial Officer of Bolivar Gold Corp. from 2003 to 2006. Mr. Doyle has also worked for Lac Minerals Ltd. and Falconbridge Limited. Mr. Doyle is a director of Medoro Resources Limited, Golden Star Resources Ltd., Mandalay Resources Corporation, and NXA Inc. Mr. Doyle obtained his B.A. (Hons) in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Doyle obtained his Chartered Director designation in 2009.

Ingrid Hibbard

Ms. Ingrid J. Hibbard is Independent Director of Detour Gold Corporation since January 31, 2007. Ms. Hibbard has over 25 years experience in the mining industry. She is President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Pelangio Exploration and was the Chief Executive Officer and a director of PDX Resources Inc. (formerly Pelangio Mines Inc.). Previously, Ms. Hibbard was a mining and securities lawyer, whose clients ranged from junior explorers to mining companies such as Noranda Mines and Hemlo Gold Mines. Ms. Hibbard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and an LL.B from the University of Western Ontario.

Alexander Morrison

Mr. Alex G. Morrison is Independent Director of Detour Gold Corporation. Mr. Morrison is a mining executive and chartered accountant with over 24 years experience in the mining industry. Mr. Morrison has held senior executive positions at a number of mining companies, most recently serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Franco-Nevada Corporation from 2007 to 2010. From 2002 to 2007, Mr. Morrison held increasingly senior positions at Newmont Mining Corporation, including Vice President, Operations Services and Vice-President, Information Technology. Prior to that, Mr. Morrison was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Novagold Resources Inc., Vice President and Controller of Homestake Mining Company and held senior financial positions at Phelps Dodge Corporation and Stillwater Mining Company. Mr. Morrison began his career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Trinity Western University.

Jonathan Rubenstein

Mr. Jonathan A. Rubenstein is Independent Director of Detour Gold Corporation since March 27, 2009. Mr. Rubenstein is a professional director, serving on the boards of several publicly listed mining companies, including MAG Silver Corp. (as Chairman), Eldorado Gold Corporation, Troon Ventures Ltd. and Rio Novo Gold Inc. Mr. Rubenstein’s career in the mining sector has included playing a key role during the acquisition of Aurelian Resources Ltd. by Kinross Gold Corporation in 2007, Cumberland Resources Ltd. by Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. in 2006, Canico Resource Corp. by Companhia Vale do Rio Doce in 2005 and Sutton Resources Ltd. by Barrick Gold Corporation in 1999. Mr. Rubenstein obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University and an LL.B. from the University of British Columbia. He practiced law until 1994. Mr. Rubenstein obtained his Accredited Director designation in 2011.

Graham Wozniak

Mr. Graham Wozniak serves as Independent Director of Detour Gold Corporation since May 26, 2011. Mr. Wozniak is a professional engineer and self-employed mining consultant with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Civil Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia. With more than 39 years’ experience in the heavy industrial industry, Mr. Wozniak has managed and directed numerous construction projects in a wide variety of industrial sectors. From 1988 to 2004, Mr. Wozniak was President of Monad Contractors Ltd., during which time he oversaw the work on several mining contracts, including Mount Polley Mining Corporation’s Copper and Gold Mine Mill Facilities in British Columbia (installation of mechanical equipment for 18,000 tpd of gold and copper ore), several projects at Huckleberry Mines Ltd.’s Huckleberry Mine in British Columbia as well as other projects for Placer Dome (now Barrick Gold Corporation) (Endako Moly Mine), Kinross Gold Corporation (QR Gold Mine), Westmin Resources Ltd. (Premier Gold Mine) and Cheni Gold Mines Inc. (Lawyers Creek Gold Mine). Since 2005, Mr. Wozniak has acted as an advisor on the planning and constructability of numerous projects for a number of different clients, both in the development of feasibility studies and the construction of projects, including Pueblo Viejo Dominicana Corporation’s Pueblo Viejo Gold Project in the Dominican Republic (construction of a 24,000 tpd gold mine) and Phelps Dodge’s (now Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc.) Safford Leach Project in Safford, Arizona (construction of a 120,000 tpd heap leach copper mine).
