Name Description
Uebber, Bodo Mr. Bodo Uebber has been appointed Chairman of the Board of EADS NV since April 14, 2009. He has been Member of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler AG and is responsible for Finance, Controlling and Financial Services since December 16, 2004. He started his career at MBB in 1985. From 1989 on, he held various positions in the financial sector within DASA AG, Dornier Luftfahrt and MTU Aero Engines GmbH. In 2001, he was appointed Member of the Board of Management and Chief Financial Officer of DaimlerChrysler Services AG and subsequently in 2003 Chairman of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler Services AG as well as Deputy Member of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler AG. Mr. Uebber studied and graduated in engineering and economics at the Technical University of Karlsruhe (Universitaet Karlsruhe).
Gallois, Louis Mr. Louis Gallois is Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Executive Committee, Director, and Member of the Strategic Committee of EADS NV. He has been Chairman of Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer (SNCF) since 1996. From 1972 he worked in various posts for the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Research and Industry and the Ministry of Defense. Ring, Hans Peter Mr. Hans Peter Ring is Member of the Executive Committee and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EADS NV. He also served as CFO of Airbus until February 1, 2008. He started his career at MBB in 1977. In 1987, he was appointed Head of Controlling of the Company’s Missiles business and subsequently of the Aviation and Defense Division of Dasa AG. From 1992 to 1995, he was Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Dornier Luftfahrt. In 1996, he was appointed Senior Vice President of Controlling of Dasa and subsequently of EADS. Botti, Jean Dr. Jean J. Botti is Member of the Executive Committee since 2006 and Chief Technical Officer of EADS NV. Jean Botti started his career in 1978 as product engineer for Renault in France where he held various management positions. From 1989 onwards, he worked in the United States for General Motors, before becoming Chief Technologist and subsequently Business Line Executive of the Power Train Business at Delphi. In May 2006, he was appointed Chief Technical Officer of EADS. Dr. Botti holds a degree in engineering from INSA Toulouse, an MBA from Central Michigan University and a PhD from the Conservatoire des Arts et Metiers.
Lahoud, Marwan Mr, Marwan Lahoud is Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer and Member of the Executive Committee of EADS NV since June 2007. Mr. Lahoud joined the DGA in 1989, where he held various positions. In late 1995, he was named Special Advisor to the Defence Minister for Industrial Affairs, Research and In 1998, he joined Aerospatiale and held various functions relating to the Aerospatiale-Matra merger. Within EADS he served as Senior Vice President M&A before becoming CEO of MBDA. Mr. Lahoud graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale Superieure de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace.
Itavuori, Jussi Mr. Jussi Itavuori is Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Human Resources of EADS NV. Jussi Itavuori joined EADS in September 2001. Previously, he had worked for KONE Corporation since 1982, and was appointed in 1989 as Head of Human Resources and Member of the Executive Committee of KONE Elevators. In 1995, he was appointed Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Human Resources of KONE Corporation. Mr. Itavuori graduated from the Vaasa School of Economics, University of Vaasa in Finland and served in the Airforce as pilot.
Errard, Nathalie Ms. Nathalie Errard is Head of Investor Relations and Financial Communications of EADS NV. Prior to that, she was in charge of dealing with investors and analysts in the United Kingdom, France and Southern Europe since the end of 2005. She started her professional career as an external auditor with PriceWaterhouse in 1995 and joined the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team of Aerospatiale in 1998 to participate in the merger with Matra and the creation of EADS. Auque, Francois Mr. Francois Auque is Head of Astrium and Member of the Executive Committee of EADS NV. Francois Auque joined Aerospatiale as Chief Financial Officer in 1991, after a career with the Suez Group and the French Cour des Comptes. He held various top management functions within Aerospatiale and Matra until becoming Chief Financial Officer of Aerospatiale Matra together with Managing Director for satellites. Since 2000, he was Chief Executive Officer of the EADS Space Division. Enders, Thomas Dr. Thomas Enders is Head of Airbus and Member of the Executive Committee of EADS NV. Dr. Enders was previously Chief Executive Officer of EADS NV. He joined MBB (Messerschmitt-Boelkow-Blohm) / Dasa AG in 1991, after various posts in international research institutes, the German Parliament and the Planning Staff of the German Minister of Defense. Crosby, Ralph Mr. Ralph D. Crosby Jr. is Member of the Executive Committee of EADS NV and Head of EADS North America. Ralph D. Crosby Jr. has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EADS North America since 2002. Previously, he established and was President of the Integrated Systems Sector at Northrop Grumman Corporation, having been Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Commercial Aircraft division and of the B-2 division. Mr. Crosby Jr. holds degrees from the United States Military Academy, the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva (Instittut Universitaire de Hautes Etudes Internationales) and Harvard University.
Bregier, Fabrice Mr. Fabrice Bregier is Member of the Executive Committee and Head of Operational Performance of EADS NV, as well as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Airbus, a subsidiary of the Company. Urena-Raso, Domingo Mr. Domingo Urena-Raso is the Head of Airbus Military, Chairman of EADS CASA and a Member of the Executive Committee of EADS NV as of February 2009. He is a Technical Aeronautical Engineer from Universidad de Madrid, graduated from Paris ESSEC business school, and has worked on programs, including the FLA (later A400M) of which he was Chief Procurement Officer in 1996 and 1997, before being Head of the Industrial Strategy of Airbus in 2006. He was then in charge of the turn-around program (Power 8) with Airbus.
O'Keef, Sean Mr. Sean O'Keef has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of EADS North America at EADS NV, effective as of November 1, 2009. He will become Member of the EADS NV's Executive Committee on January 1, 2010. He is a former Secretary of the Navy, Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer of the Department of Defense, Deputy Assistant to the President, and Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Lagardere, Arnaud Mr. Arnaud Lagardere is Member of the Board of Directors of EADS NV, as well as Member of the Company's Strategic Committee. He was previously Co-Chairman of EADS NV. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2003. He began his career in 1986 as General Manager of MMB, the holding company of Hachette and Europe 1. In 1987, he was appointed Vice President of the Supervisory Board of Arjil bank followed by his appointment as Head of Emerging Activities and Electronic Media for Matra. In 1994, he became Chief Executive Officer of Grolier Inc. in the U.S. He has been Managing Partner of Lagardere since 1998. Eguiagaray Ucelay, Juan Manuel Dr. Juan Manuel Eguiagaray Ucelay is Member of the Board of Directors of EADS NV since 2005. He is Associate Professor at Carlos III University in Madrid, teaching macroeconomics and applied economics. He is also Director of Studies at the think tank Fundacion Alternativas. Between 1970 and 1982, he taught economics at Deusto University in Bilbao. He has held various political mandates in Spain; amongst others he was Minister for Public Administration (1991-1993) and Minister for Industry and Energy (1993-1996). He resigned from Parliament in 2001. Dr. Eguiagaray Ucelay holds a degree in economics and in law from Universidad Deusto as well as a Ph.D. degree by the same university. Bartke, Rolf Dr. Rolf Bartke is Member of the Board of Directors of EADS NV since 2007, as well as Member of the Company's Remuneration and Nominating Committees. He obtained a Doctorate in industrial engineering from Universitat Karlsruhe in 1976. He started his career in 1976 as Managing Director of commercial agents of Unimat GmbH in Dusseldorf. After that, he joined Nutzfahrzeuge Ludwigsfelde GmbH and Entwicklungsgesellschaft fur Kraftfahrzeuge GmbH, which became a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz in 1994. He was Managing Director in the fields of Commercial Vehicle Planning and Projects, Commercial Vehicle Development, Marketing and Sales Planning for Unimog and MB-trac. Between 1995 and 2006, he was Head of the business unit Vans at DaimlerChrysler AG. Currently, Dr. Rolf Bartke is Chairman of Kuka AG (former IWKA AG).
D'Hinnin, Dominique Mr. Dominique D'Hinnin is Member of the Board of Directors of EADS NV since 2007, as well as Member of the Company's Audit and Remuneration and Nominating Committees. He graduated from Ecole Normale Superieure. He has been Chief Financial Officer of Lagardere SCA since 1998. He joined Lagardere in 1990 as Advisor to the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Group. After that, he held different positions within the Group, first being appointed as Internal Audit Manager, and then Chief Financial Officer Hachette Livre in 1993, before being appointed Executive Vice President of Grolier Inc in the United States.
Pebereau, Michel Mr. Michel Pebereau is Independent Director of EADS NV since 2007, as well as Member of the Company's Strategic Committee. Mr. Michel Pebereau who created BNP Paribas as Chairman and CEO in 2000, has been Chairman of the Board of BNP Paribas since 2003. He started his career in 1967 at the Inspection Generale des Finances. In 1970, he joined the French Treasury where he held various high ranking posts. From 1982 on, he became Managing Director of the Credit Commercial de France, and after its privatization in 1987, its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mittal, Lakshmi Mr. Lakshmi N. Mittal is Independent Member of the Board of Directors of EADS NV since 2007. He graduated from University of Calcutta with a Bachelors degree in commerce. Mr. Lakshmi N. Mittal is President and Chief Executive Officer of ArcelorMittal. Mr. Mittal founded Mittal Steel Company (formerly the LNM Group) in 1976 and guided its strategic development, culminating in the merger with Arcelor, agreed in 2006. Mr. Mittal began his career working in the family's steelmaking business in India, and has over 30 years' experience working in steel and related industries. Following the transaction combining Ispat International and LNM Holdings to form Mittal Steel in December 2004, together with the simultaneous announcement of the acquisition of International Steel Group in the United States, Mr. Mittal was awarded Fortune magazine's "European Businessman of the Year 2004". Mr. Mittal was awarded "Steelmaker of the Year" in 1996 by New Steel in the USA and the "Willy Korf Steel Vision Award" in June 1998 from American Metal Market and PaineWeber's World Steel Dynamics, for outstanding vision, entrepreneurship, leadership and success in global steel development. Following the creation of ArcelorMittal, Mr. Mittal was also awarded "Business Person of 2006" by the Sunday Times, "International Newsmaker of the Year 2006" by Time Magazine and "Person of the Year 2006" by the Financial Times for his business achievements. In January 2007, Mr. Mittal was presented with a Fellowship from King's College London. He has also been awarded the 2007 Dwight D. Lamberti, Hermann-Josef Mr. Hermann-Josef Lamberti is Independent Director of EADS NV since 2007, as well as Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee and Member of the Remuneration and Nominating Committees. He studied business administration at the Universities of Cologne and Dublin, and graduated with a Master’s degree. Mr. Hermann-Josef Lamberti has been Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG since 1999 and is Chief Operating Officer of this company. He started his career 1982 with Touche Ross in Toronto, before joining the Chemical Bank in Frankfurt. Parker, John Sir John Parker is Independent Director of EADS NV since 2007, as well as Chairman of the Company's Remuneration and Nominating Committees and Member of the Audit Committee. He studied naval architecture and mechanical engineering at the College of Technology, Queen's University, Belfast.
