Name Description

Wagner Bittencourt de Oliveira

Mr. Wagner Bittencourt de Oliveira serves as Chairman of the Board of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA. He has been Chairman, Executive and Counselor of companies in the public and private sectors, among which include logistics, financial, mining, metallurgy and equipment. He has 20 years of executive experience. He was Secretary of the Ministry of National Integration, Superintendent of Sudene, Chairman of the Companhia Ferroviaria do Nordeste (Northeast Railroad Company), and Director, Superintendent, Department Head and Manager of various units of BNDES (Brazilian Development Bank). He is currently Director of Infrastructure and Basic Input Resources at BNDES and Member of the Board of Directors of several companies, such as Caraiba Metais, Sibra, Cadam, Usiminas Mecanica and Banco do Nordeste. He gained a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro in 1974 and completed a specialization course in Finance and Capital Markets.

Jose da Costa Carvalho

Mr. Jose da Costa Carvalho Neto serves as Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Executive Board, Director of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA. He was Deputy Secretary of Mines and Energy of Minas Gerais in 1987, and was Chairman of Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais (Cemig) between July 1998 and January 1999. Renato Soares Sacramento

Mr. Renato Soares Sacramento serves as Chief Generation Officer of Centrais Eletricas Brasileira SA. He worked at Cemig from 1975 to 1985, where he held technical positions and the position of division manager. Marcos Aurelio Madureira da Silva

Mr. Marcos Aurelio Madureira da Silva serves as Chief Distribution Officer at Centrais Eletricas Brasileira SA since April 2014. He worked for 27 years at Cemig holding several supervision positions, including, in 1998, the company’s Chief Distribution Officer. He further worked for ten years in Energisa group holding positions in several offices, working, until April 2011, as Chief Operation and Business Officer of Energisa Soluções. Valter Luiz Cardeal de Souza

Mr. Valter Luiz Cardeal de Souza serves as Chief Generation Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA. He has been Member of the Company’s Executive Board since January 2003. His career in the electricity sector spans more than 30 years. Josias Matos de Araujo

Jose Antonio Muniz Lopes

Mr. Jose Antonio Muniz Lopes serves as Chief Transmission Officer, Member of the Executive Board of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA since 2011. Prior to this, he had been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Member of the Board of Directors of the Company since March 6, 2008. He was also CEO of Eletrobras Eletronorte from 1996 to 2003 and of Eletrobras Chesf from 1992 to 1993, both subsidiaries of the Company. Joao Antonio Lian

He is an engineer, graduated from UFF.

Luiz Eduardo Barata Ferreira

Mr. Luiz Eduardo Barata Ferreira serves as the Member of the Board of Directors at Centrais Eletricas Brasileira SA. He is Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Mines and Energy. He has extensive experience in the Brazilian electricity sector, having served as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Electric Power Trade Chamber (CCEE), an organization he was part of since 2010, when he took over as superintendent. Jailson Jose Medeiros Alves

Mr. Jailson Jose Medeiros Alves serves as Member of the Board of Directors at Centrais Eletricas Brasileira SA. In 2013, he attended the training course for board members at the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance. He started his career in 1997, working in the management and implementation of civil engineering projects. Since 2002 he is an employee of Eletrobras, having worked for five years in the Engineering Office on technical and budget analysis for projects and monitoring developments for electric power generation, including Proinfa. From 2007 he started working at the Department of Energy Efficiency Projects, managing projects of municipal energy management and public lighting. Walter Malieni

Mr. Walter Malieni, Jr. serves as the Member of the Board of Directors at Centrais Eletricas Brasileira SA. In 2014, he participated in an executive session for Banco do Brasil in the Digital Transformation Program in Business from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He was state superintendent in Rio de Janeiro of Banco do Brasil between January and December 2000, commercial manager and statutory commercial director of Companhia de Seguros Aliança do Brasil between January 2001 and October 2006 and commercial superintendent, Director of Credit and Director of Distribution in São Paulo of Banco do Brasil between November 2006 and December 2012. Pricilla Maria Santana

Ms. Pricilla Maria Santana serves as Member of the Board of Directors at Centrais Eletricas Brasileira SA. Since April 2015, she is Under Secretary of Intergovernmental Financial Relations of the Secretariat of the National Treasury. In the Secretariat for Economic Monitoring of the Ministry of Finance, she held several positions, such as Assistant Secretary, General Coordinator of Agricultural Products and General Coordinator of Public Utilities and Infrastructure. She also served, from 2002 to 2005, in the position of Manager for Market Monitoring and Protection of Competition of the National Land Transportation Agency (ANTT). In addition of being part of the Board of Directors of Eletrobras, she is a member of the Fiscal Council of BB Seguros S.A. and of the Board of Directors of Banco da Amazônia. Mauricio Muniz Barretto de Carvalho

Mr. Mauricio Muniz Barretto de Carvalho serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA. He is Secretary of the Program for the Acceleration of Growth. Prior to this, he acted within the Republic’s Presidency, the Ministry of Education and the Post/Correios. He was also Professor at FAAP and FASP and of Uniplan. He has a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Urban Planning from ESESP / Fundacao Getulio Vargas.
