Marcio Pereira Zimmermann

Mr. Marcio Pereira Zimmermann serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA. He has been working for Eletrobras Eletrosul since 1980. He was one of the founders and the first President of the Brazilian Association of Companies of Transmission of Electrical Energy (Abrate). He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eletrobras Cepel, Eletrobras Eletrosul and the Power Research Company (EPE). He represents the Ministry of Mines and Energy in the Board of Directors of the Operator of the National Electricity System (ONS). He is Member of the Board of Directors of Petrobras and Petrobras Distribuidora. Since January 2005 in the Ministry of Mines and Energy, he has been Member of the Executive Secretariat of the National Council for Energy Policy (CNPE). He was Secretary of Energy Planning and Development, Executive Secretary in the Ministry of Mines and Energy. Since January 2005 he has been in the Ministry of Mines and Energy. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio Grande do Sul, a post graduate degree in Electrical Systems Engineering from Universidade Federal de Itajuba and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro.

Jose da Costa Carvalho

Mr. Jose da Costa Carvalho Neto serves as Member of the Board of Directors, Member of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA. He was Deputy Secretary of Mines and Energy of Minas Gerais in 1987, and was Chairman of Companhia Energetica de Minas Gerais (Cemig) between July 1998 and January 1999. Also at Cemig, where he started as Trainee in 1966, he was Chief Distribution Officer from 1991 to 1997, and held the offices of Superintendent, Department and Division Manager. He was Professor of power plants at Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Minas Gerais from 1970 to 1977. He has been Employee of Companhia Estadual de Energia Eletrica do Rio Grande do Sul (CEEE) since 1971, where he was Director of the Generation, Transmission and Distribution areas. Jose Antonio Muniz Lopes

Mr. Jose Antonio Muniz Lopes has served as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Transmission Officer of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA since 2011. Prior to this, he had been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Member of the Board of Directors of the Company since March 6, 2008. He was also CEO of Eletrobras Eletronorte from 1996 to 2003 and of Eletrobras Chesf from 1992 to 1993, both subsidiaries of the Company. He is currently head of the Ministry of Mines and Energy's office and Executive Secretary of Conselho Nacional de Politica Energetica (CNPE). He was Chief of Staff to the Minister of Mines and Energy, Planning and Engineering Director for Eletrobras Eletronorte, where he worked in different areas since 1977, and Member of the Board of Directors of Eletrobras Eletronorte, Eletrobras Cepel and Previnorte. Mr. Thadeu Figueiredo Rocha has served as Member of the Board of Directors, as employee representative, of Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras SA since 2012.
