William Howell

Mr. William John Selwood Howell has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of ECR Minerals plc., with effect from 31 May 2015. is a geologist with 48 years of experience in the minerals industry. Bill holds British and Australian nationality and is currently based in Vietnam. He graduated from Southampton University, UK with an honours degree in geology in 1966. Bill is a Fellow of both the Australasian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Society of Economic Geologists, and is a Competent/Qualified Person for JORC Code and NI43-101 reporting purposes. He is listed as a Senior Associate Geologist with UK-based geological and mining consultancy ACA Howe International Ltd. Bill has served as a director of several public companies, including as Exploration Director of Triple Plate Junction plc (now named Aurasian Minerals plc), a company admitted to trading on AIM, until 2011, having co-founded that company in 2003. From 2009 to 2012 Bill was also a director of Asian Mineral Resources Ltd, which is quoted on the TSX Venture Exchange, and held the role of Non-Executive Chairman during that company’s reorganisation in 2012. Asian Mineral Resources commenced production at the Ban Phuc nickel sulphide mine in Vietnam in 2013. In his career to date Bill has specialised mainly in the countries of South East Asia and the Pacific, including, from 1995 to 2003, as Managing Director and Regional Exploration Manager South East Asia for Normandy Mining Ltd and later Newmont Mining Corporation following its takeover of Normandy. He was employed by the Broken Hill Proprietary Company Ltd (BHP) from 1967-81, including as Superintendent Geologist South East Asia from 1975-81, and was responsible for opening and managing BHP’s first mineral exploration offices in Papua New Guinea (1968), in East Malaysia (1973) and in the Philippines (1976). Craig Brown

Mr. Craig William Brown is the Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company. He is a Chartered Accountant with over 21 years’ experience in senior management and finance roles within the exploration and mining industry. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand in 1993 and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Craig was a founding shareholder of Kryso Resources plc (“Kryso”), a gold exploration and development company which was admitted to trading on AIM in 2004. Kryso was restructured and renamed China Nonferrous Gold Ltd (“CNG”) in 2013. Craig acted as Finance Director and Company Secretary of Kryso before becoming Managing Director in 2010 and stepping down from the board in September 2013. During this period, Kryso/CNG delineated a 5 million ounce JORC Mineral Resource at the Pakrut gold project in Tajikistan, completed a bankable feasibility study for the project, obtained debt and equity finance for mine development, and commenced construction of the mine and infrastructure. Since 2013, Craig has continued to act as a consultant to CNG, during which time CNG has successfully obtained additional debt finance in order to commence production, completing the first gold pour at the Pakrut mine in 2015. Prior to his roles with Kryso/CNG, Craig held positions with Gulf International Minerals Ltd and Nelson Gold Ltd, both of which also successfully put gold mines into production during Craig’s tenure. Craig holds New Zealand nationality and is currently based in the United Kingdom.

Ivor Jones

Mr. Ivor William Osborne Jones is the Executive Director of the Company. He is a geologist with 30 years’ experience in the industry and is currently practising as an independent consultant based in Australia. Mr Jones holds a BSc (Hons) in Geology from Macquarie University and an MSc in Resource Evaluation from the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow and Chartered Professional (Geology) of the Australian Institute of Mining & Metallurgy (AusIMM) and a Member of the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC). Mr Jones has extensive expertise in all aspects of geology, including project evaluation, resource estimation and the preparation of JORC and NI43-101 reports, across both precious and base metals. His previous roles have included numerous positions with leading consultancy Snowden Mining Industry Consultants (“Snowden”), including as Group General Manager of Geosciences from 2009 until 2014. Mr Jones has also held positions at operating mines, including as Manager of Mine Geology at the Leinster Nickel Operations of WMC Resources Ltd in Western Australia, and as Group Resource Geologist for Anvil Mining Ltd with operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has experience of working in Australia, Africa, North and South America, Europe and the Philippines.

Christian St. John-Dennis

Mr. Christian Gabriel St. John-Dennis is the Non-Executive Director of the Company. He is a highly experienced stockbroker and is currently the CEO and a major shareholder of Optiva Securities Ltd (“Optiva”), a member of the London Stock Exchange. Mr Dennis holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Birmingham, is an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), and is an FCA approved person. During his career Christian has worked for a number of major investment firms both in London and New York. He has been involved with advising and arranging funding for a large number of mining companies across a wide range of commodities, working with companies at varying stages of development from seed funding through to IPO, and has assisted in bringing a number of those companies along the value curve from project development through to production.
