Name Description

Bryan Martin

Mr. Bryan R. Martin has been re-designated as Chairman of the Board, Chief Technology Officer of the company, with effective September 9, 2013. From February 2002 to September 2013, he served as the Chief Executive Officer. From March 2007 to November 2008, and again from April 2011 to December 2011, he served as President. From February 2001 to February 2002, he served as our President and Chief Operating Officer. He served as our Senior Vice President, Engineering Operations from July 2000 to February 2001 and as Chief Technical Officer from August 1995 to August 2000. He also served as a director of the Company from January 1998 through July 1999. In addition, Mr. Martin served in various technical roles for the Company from April 1990 to August 1995. He received a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Vikram Verma

Mr. Vikram Verma is the Chief Executive Officer, Director of 8x8, Inc. From October 2008 through August 2013, Mr. Verma was President of Strategic Venture Development for Lockheed Martin. From 2006 through 2008, Mr. Verma was President of the IS&GS Savi Group, a division of Lockheed Martin technology and information services division providing real-time supply chain management and security solutions for government and commercial markets worldwide. Prior to that, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Savi Technology, Inc., a leader in RFID-based tracking and security solutions and a pioneer in using RFID tags to track cargo containers and their content globally via public and private clouds. Savi was acquired by Lockheed Martin in 2006.. Mr. Verma received a B.S.E.E. degree from Florida Institute of Technology, an M.S.E . degree from the University of Michigan in electrical engineering, and a graduate degree of Engineer in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He has also attended executive management programs at the Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business and the University of California at Berkeley Haas School of Business. He has been granted eight patents and has won numerous other accolades including being named a "Technology Pioneer" by the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland and a Tau Beta Pi - Williams Fellow.

Mary Ellen Genovese

Ms. Mary Ellen P. Genovese is Chief Financial Officer of the Company., effective October 31, 2014. Prior to joining 8x8, from 2008 to 2011, Ms. Genovese served as a consultant to a Fortune 50 global security company where she evaluated potential technologies to license or spinout with the intent of unlocking value to under-utilized assets. From 2004 through 2006, she was the CFO of Savi Technology, a leading provider of RFID systems and solutions to track cargo containers and their content globally via both public and private clouds. While at Savi, Ms. Genovese led the negotiating team in closing a strategic joint venture with Hutchison Port Holdings, a subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa, and she prepared the company for a possible IPO event that culminated with the acquisition of Savi by Lockheed Martin. Prior to Savi, from 2000 to 2004, Ms. Genovese was Chief Financial Officer at Trimble Navigation. While she was Trimble’s CFO, the company grew revenues from $271 million to $669 million and maintained strong GAAP operating earnings and positive cash flow growth. Ms. Genovese was also instrumental as CFO in completing numerous acquisitions, securing financing, driving the company's cost reduction programs, and standardizing global policies and system-wide financial reporting capabilities. Between 1992 and 2000, Ms. Genovese worked at Trimble in a succession of other increasingly responsible executive positions, including vice president of finance, corporate controller, business unit controller and controller of manufacturing operations. She holds a B.S. Degree in Accounting from Fairfield University and received her CPA license from the State of Connecticut.

Puneet Arora

Mr. Puneet Arora is Senior Vice President - Global Sales of the Company. Mr. Arora comes to 8x8 with a successful track record building, leading and scaling sales organizations for SaaS and enterprise software industry leaders such as Salesforce.com, Oracle and, most recently, LivePerson. Mr. Arora was most recently Vice President, Head of North America Sales at LivePerson where he managed all aspects of demand generation, revenue creation and customer success across a diverse array of accounts ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. Prior to LivePerson, he managed Cloud CRM Sales for North America West at Oracle, where he was responsible for sales and customer success for the western third of the continent. Before Oracle, Mr. Arora was Vice President Corporate Sales at Salesforce.com where he led sales and customer success for the Southeast U.S. Earlier in his career, Mr. Arora spent over 10 years in leading enterprise software companies like BlueRoads, Selectica and Trilogy where he led a successful career as an Enterprise Sales executive leading teams and opening new markets. Mr. Arora holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Lowa State University and is pursuing an MBA from Babson College's Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business.

Darren Hakeman

Mr. Darren Hakeman has been appointed as Senior Vice President - Product & Strategy of the company, with effcet from September 12, 2013. From 2009 to 2013, Hakeman worked as a strategic advisor to leading Silicon Valley companies and emerging start-ups including Authentication Metrics, Inc. (now Agari), Blackfire Research, and a major global security company. Prior to 2009, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for a SaaS Business Unit of Lockheed Martin that emerged following Lockheed's acquisition of Savi Technology, Inc. He received a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Jeff Romano

Mr. Jeff Romano is Senior Vice President of Global Services and Support of the Company. He joined the company as Senior Vice President of Global Services and Support. As 8x8 continues to gain momentum with international mid-market and enterprise customers, Romano's charter is to transform and revolutionize the entire customer experience from deployment of services to ongoing service adoption, support, and customer success.

Enzo Signore

Mr. Enzo Signore is Chief Marketing Officer of Company. Mr. Signore brings over 20 years of marketing, product management, sales and business development experience with industry-leading communications and technology vendors to 8x8. He was most recently Vice President of Worldwide Enterprise Solutions and Field Marketing at Avaya where he was responsible for defining, positioning and marketing Avaya's entire multi-billion dollar enterprise portfolio spanning Unified Communication and Collaboration, Video Collaboration, Customer Experience Management, Networking as well as Private Cloud Services. Before that, he served as Vice President, UC Product Management at Avaya where he led the product strategy and go-to market plan for the company's UC Core portfolio. Prior to Avaya, Mr. Signore served as Vice President of Asia-Pacific Sales and Worldwide Sales Operations for optical communications component supplier JDSU, where he rapidly grew the business across the entire region. He was also Vice President of Corporate Marketing at JDSU and successfully re-branded the company as the leader in Broadband and Optical Innovation. Prior to JDSU, Mr. Signore was Senior Director of Marketing for Cisco's Broadband Access portfolio. In this role he grew the business from inception to a multi-hundred million dollar operation. Prior to Cisco, Mr. Signore held business development and engineering positions at ISOCOR, Inc. and Retix, Inc. Mr. Signore holds a Masters degree in Telecommunications and Computer Science (Summa Cum Laude) from Politecnico di Torino, Italy.

Jared Smith-Mickelson

Mr. Jared Smith-Mickelson is Vice President - Engineering of the company. Mr. Smith-Mickelson brings more than 15 years of development, management and engineering leadership experience to 8x8. During his career, he successfully managed distributed engineering teams as well as integrated technology organizations acquired through acquisition. Prior to joining 8x8, Mr. Smith-Mickelson worked five years as Vice President of Engineering at Jive Software, Inc. overseeing the company's big data, mobile, real-time and API initiatives. Prior to that, Smith-Mickelson held several senior manager roles at Cisco Systems, Inc. within the company's Data Center Application Services business unit and Wide Area Application Services business unit. He began his Silicon Valley career with an Accel Partners' backed startup, Reactivity, which was acquired by Cisco in 2007. Mr. Smith-Mickelson earned his master's and bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Guy Hecker

Mr. Guy L. Hecker, Jr., is Lead Independent Director of 8x8 Inc., since January 2010. He was the founder of Stafford, Burke and Hecker, Inc., a consulting firm based in Alexandria, Virginia, and served as its President from 1982 to 2008. Prior to his retirement from the United States Air Force in 1982, Major General Hecker's duties included serving as Director of the Air Force Office of Legislative Liaison and an appointment in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Research, Development and Acquisition for the Air Force. Earlier, he served as a pilot and commander in both fighter and bomber aircraft units, including command of a bomber wing and an air division. During his Air Force career, Major General Hecker was awarded a number of military decorations, including the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, the Silver Star, the Legion of Merit (awarded twice) and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He currently serves on the board of directors of NavCom Defense Electronics and The Citadel Foundation. Major General Hecker received a B.A. from The Citadel, an M.A. in International Relations from George Washington University, an honorary Ph.D. in military science from The Citadel and completed the management development program at Harvard Business School.

Vladimir Jacimovic

Mr. Vladimir Jacimovic is Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Jacimovic has over 25 years of investing and operating experience with high growth companies in the technology and services industry with specific expertise in the Software as a Service (SaaS), Big Data and Security segments. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Continuum Capital Partners, an investment firm that specializes in crossover investments targeting private and public technology companies. Previously, Mr. Jacimovic was a Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), a leading global venture capital firm focused on helping entrepreneurs build transformational businesses across multiple stages, sectors and geographies, and a Managing Director at Crosslink Capital, a leading stage-independent venture capital and growth equity firm. Since beginning his venture career in 1996, Mr. Jacimovic has been involved in more than 30 investments in software, communications, and technology enabled services. Mr. Jacimovic began his career with operating roles at Intel and Ingres, and later worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. in the US and in Europe. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of San Francisco.

Ian Potter

Mr. Ian Potter is Independent Director of the company, since September 17, 2013. He brings more than 25 years of international business development, management and operational experience to 8x8. He was most recently a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley & Co. in Singapore, having moved there in 1994 to establish the firm's commodities trading and risk management business across Asia. Mr. Potter is currently a Distinguished Fellow with INSEAD's Global Private Equity Initiative, a Senior Advisor at Morgan Stanley and the Managing Partner of Lion City Capital Partners. From 1994 until his retirement from Morgan Stanley in 2013, he supervised all aspects of the firm's commodity business in Asia while serving on a number of internal and external private company boards. During this time, he opened the group's New Delhi, Shanghai, and Tokyo offices and was responsible for developing the group's capacity across the region and expanding its product offerings. Morgan Stanley's Japanese and Chinese offices were the first of their type to be established and required interaction and support from local enterprises, regulators and authorities. Mr. Potter began his career in London and New York working for Chase Manhattan Bank N.A. where he contributed to the development of the bank's interest rate and currency derivatives business. He holds an MBA from INSEAD in France and a BA from Queen's University in Canada.

Jaswinder Singh

Dr. Jaswinder Pal Singh is Independent Director of the Company. Dr. Singh is currently a Full Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University and Chairman and Co-Founder of Gwynnie Bee, Inc., an Internet technology company in the retail space. Previously, he was Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at firstRain, Inc., a SaaS provider of market intelligence solutions for the enterprise, where he led the development of award-winning technologies and products for web-based communication and information access. Dr. Singh also served as an advisor to Right Media, Inc., a SaaS online advertising exchange that was acquired by Yahoo in 2007, and later led the development of Yahoo’s innovative next-generation advertising marketplace. Dr. Singh is a leading authority on Scalable Computing Systems, Infrastructure and Applications and has served as a consultant to several leading companies and agencies. He was the only computer scientist to receive the NSF Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers in 1997 and was also a winner of the Sloan Research Fellowship in the same year. He is a coauthor of Parallel Computer Architecture: A Hardware-Software Approach, the leading textbook in Parallel Computing, and author of several patents and over 75 published research papers. Dr. Singh has a BSE degree from Princeton University and obtained his MS and PhD degrees from Stanford University.

Eric Salzman

Mr. Eric Salzman is Independent Director of 8x8, Inc., since February 24, 2012. From August 2011 to present, Mr. Salzman has been the Managing Member of SarniHaan Capital Partners LLC. Prior to SarniHaan Capital Partners LLC, Mr. Salzman spent several years at Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. including as Managing Director in the Private Equity and Principal Investing Group as well as Managing Director in the Global Trading Strategies Division. Prior to Lehman, Mr. Salzman was an investment professional at a private equity affiliate of Credit Suisse Asset Management and was a financial analyst in the M&A Group of First Boston. Mr. Salzman has extensive public and private board experience having served on over twelve boards and is currently a director at three private equity owned technology companies. Mr. Salzman has a B.A. Honors from the University of Michigan and a MBA from Harvard University.
