Gary Lauer |
Mr. Gary L. Lauer serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of eHealth Inc. Mr. Lauer has served as chief executive officer since December 1999 and as chairman of board of directors since March 2002. He also served as president from December 1999 to March 2012. Prior to joining , Mr. Lauer was the chairman and chief executive officer of MetaCreations Corporation. Prior to MetaCreations, Mr. Lauer spent more than nine years at Silicon Graphics, Inc., a computing technology company, where he was a member of the senior executive team. Mr. Lauer started his career at IBM in sales and marketing management. Mr. Lauer holds a B.S. degree in finance and marketing from the University of Southern California Business School. Mr. Lauer serves as a member of the board of directors of Vantiv, Inc. |

Mr. Robert S. Hurley serves as Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations of eHealth Inc., since March 2011. Dr. Jiang Wu serves as Senior Vice President - Engineering of eHealth Inc. In this role, Dr. Wu oversees the product development, quality assurance, information technology and carrier technology services functions of the company. Prior to becoming Senior Vice President of Engineering, Dr. Wu served as the company's Vice President of Engineering since May 2007, as its Director of Engineering since September 2000 and as its Development Manager since September 1999. Ms. Ellen O'Kane Tauscher has been appointed as Independent Director of eHealth, Inc., effective July 2, 2012. Ms. Tauscher served from January 1997 to June 2009 as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California’s 10th Congressional District. While a member of Congress, Ms. Tauscher served on the House Armed Services Committee, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and most recently as Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces. Ms. Tauscher served as Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs from June 2009 to February 2012, when she retired from government. Since returning to the private sector earlier in 2012, Ms. Tauscher has provided advice to the State Department on arms control, missile defense and civil nuclear cooperation and joined the board of directors of Invacare Corporation. Prior to serving in Congress, Ms. Tauscher worked in investment banking and the financial industry in various roles for Bache Halsey Stuart Shields, Bear Stearns & Co., Drexel Burnham Lambert and as an officer of the American Stock Exchange. Ms. Tauscher holds a B.S. degree in early childhood education from Seton Hall University. |
