Name Description

Gabriele Clementi

Eng. Gabriele Clementi has served as Executive Chairman of the Board of El En SpA since 1989. He received holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Universita degli Studi di Firenze (1976) and he collaborated with the university until 1981, while at the same time founding a center for experimenting applications of biomedical equipment together with Barbara Bazzocchi. In 1981, together with Mr. Bazzocchi he founded El En SpA. He serves also as Director of Quanta System SpA, With Us Ltd. and Elesta Srl, as well as Sole Director of Valfivre Italia Srl.

Barbara Bazzocchi

Ms. Barbara Bazzocchi serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of El En SpA. She received diploma in Accounting in 1958 and as an executive secretary in 1961. From 1976 until 1981, she managed and administered a center for the experimentation and application of biomedical equipment and then, with G. Clementi, founded El En SpA. As Director, she has been involved full time in the management of the company since its founding. Since 1989 she has been Executive Board Member.

Andrea Cangioli

Eng. Andrea Cangioli serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director and Head of Internal Control of El En SpA. He holds a degree in Engineering of Technological Industries from Politecnico di Milano (1992). Since 1992 he has been on the Board of Directors of El.En. Srl. and since 1996 he has been Executive Board Member of the Company and of numerous companies belonging to the Group.

Stefano Modi

Eng. Stefano Modi has served as Non-Executive Director of El En SpA since August 4, 2006. In 1989, he received his degree in Electronic Engineering from Universita degli Studi di Firenze and up until 1990 collaborated with the Institute of Quantistic Electronics on projects related to the technical and functional specifications as well as the design and engineering of diode lasers. Since 1990 he has been an employee of the Company and has worked on projects related to the technical and functional specifications engineering and development of various types of laser systems intended for use primarily in medical and aesthetic applications. Since 1999 he has been an officer of the company with management responsibilities in the medical research and development department.

Alberto Pecci

Dr. Alberto Pecci serves as Non-Executive Director of El En SpA. He received his degree in Political Science and after a brief experience working at the BNL bank United States, he founded the Lanificio Pecci, of which he is Chairman, as well the other companies of the textile group of which the Lanificio is parent company. He was nominated Cavaliere del Lavoro in 1992, and was first Vice Chairman (1988-1993) and then Chairman (1993-2002) of the La Fondiaria Assicurazioni. He has been Member of the Board of Directors of Mediobanca, of Assicurazioni Generali, of Banca Intesa and of Alleanza Assicurazioni. He is Member of the Board of Directors of KME.

Paolo Blasi

Prof. Paolo Blasi serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of El En SpA. He received degree in Physics from Universita degli Studi di Firenze in 1963, in 1971 received a teachers certificate for teaching General Physics. He held various positions in a number of companies, including Director of the National Laboratories of Legnaro of the I.N.F.N. (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare), Vice President of the I.N.O. (Istituto Nazionale di Ottica). President of the University of Florence, President of the Conferenza dei Rettori delle Universita Italiane (C.R.U.I.), Board Member of the Banca d'Italia, Member of the Board of Directors of the Ente Cassa di Risparmio of Florence, and Member of EURAB (European Research Advisory Board), among others. Since 1980 he has been Professor of the Physics Laboratory for the University course in physics. He is a member of the International Association of Universities (I.A.U.).Since 2003 he has been a member of upon appointment by the Comite national d’Evaluation des etablissements publics a caractere scientifique culturel et professionnel President of France. Since 1981 he has been Member of the Fondazione Internazionale Nova Spes (for the Global Development of People and Society) and director of the Istituto per una Scienza Aperta of the same Foundation. He is Member of the National Geographic Society, of the Forum per i Problemi della Pace e della Guerra, of the Centre for the Study of decorative Arts, and the Director's Advisory Committee of the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University. He is or has been a member of the Board of Directors of various institutions including, Officine Galileo (1985-1988) Societa Galileo Vacuum Tec (1988-1990), Istituto Nazionale di Ottica (INO) (1987-1996), Fondazione Scienza e Tecnica from (1987- 2000), Fondazione Progettare Firenze since 1995, Conservatorio di Santa Maria degli Angeli, since 1985, British Institute of Florence since 1995, and Scuola di Musica di Fiesole since 1996.

Michele Legnaioli

Mr. Michele Legnaioli serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of El En SpA. He has had a professional experience, including, among other offices, President of Fiorentinagas SpA and Fiorentinagas Clienti SpA, of the Gruppo Giovani Industriali di Firenze (Young Industrialist of Florence), National Vice President of the young entrepreneurs of Confindustria, from May 2003, Member of the joint commission of Confindustria. Since April 28, 2004, he has been President of the Aeroporto di Firenze SpA.
