Bonifacio Cabral, Joao Mr. Joao Bonifacio Cabral Jr. has served as Independent Chairman of the Board of Directors of Companhia Paranaense de Energia - COPEL since 2003. He gained a degree in Law from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Parana in 1973 and a post-graduate degree in International Law and International Business from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in 2001. He also acts as General Counsel of Itaipu Binacional. He. served as General Attorney of the Attorney General's Office of the Court of Audit of the State of Parana, as well as Chief Administrative Officer of Itaipu Binacional.
Ghilardi, Rubens Mr. Rubens Ghilardi has served as Member of the Executive Board, Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of Companhia Paranaense de Energia - COPEL since February 1, 2005. He got a degree in Economics from the Economics College of Universidade Federal do Parana in 1963, and a degree in Business Administration from the Economics and Business Administration College of Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Parana in 1973. He graduated in Law from the Law Faculty of Universidade Federal do Parana in 1966. He completed post-graduate studies in Tax Law at Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Sao Paulo in 1980, and in Civil Proceedings from Universidade de Brasilia. He was Federal Judge in Londrina and Curitiba between September 1993 and April 6, 2004, when he retired, and has been Professor in the Superior Federal Magistrates School since 1998. He was Tax Law Professor in the Public Law Department of the Federal University of Parana from 1971 to 1993, Legal Officer at Banco BHM de Investimentos from 1990 to 1993, Legal Officer in several financial, service and commercial companies from 1969 to 1990, and Member of the Taxpayers’ Committee of the Parana State Government from 1977 to 1988.

He was Member of the Company’s Board of Directors from 2003 to 2004, and Member of the Executive Board and Chief Corporate Management Officer from 2005 to 2008.
Ravedutti, Ronald Thadeu Mr. Ronald Thadeu Ravedutti has served as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Distribution Officer of Companhia Paranaense de Energia - COPEL since February 1, 2005. Munhoz Neto, Raul Mr. Raul Munhoz Neto has served as Member of the Executive Board and Chief Power Generation and Transmission and Telecommunications Officer of Companhia Paranaense de Energia - COPEL since March 7, 2006. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Parana in 1966.
