Vernon Lobo |
Mr. Vernon F. Lobo is an Independent Chairman of the Board of Cyberplex Inc. Mr. Lobo is the Managing director and founder of Mosaic Venture Partners, a private venture capital firm investing in early stage digital technology companies. He began his career in software development and engineering at Nortel Networks Corporation where he received a full scholarship to attend Harvard Business School. He was a consultant with McKinsey & Company, where he led engagements in the firm’s telecommunications and information technology practices. Prior to founding Mosaic, he was a Partner with Quorum Growth Inc., a Canadian venture capital fund focused on technology-based enterprises. He sits on the boards of several private companies, as well as Soundbite Communications Inc., Silanis Technologies Inc., AirIQ Inc. and TECSYS Inc., all publicly traded corporations. He holds a BASc in Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School. |

Mr. Lavine is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Exclamation Investment Corporation., a public company (TSXV:XI) founded by Mr. Lavine which is focused on entrepreneurial investment and business creation activities. Mr. Lavine is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and a co-founder of The Chrysalis Capital Group Inc., a private company focused on all aspects of the CPC program. Mr. Lavine holds an Honours degree in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario (1991) where he received the gold medal for top student in his class. Mr. Tjan is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of The Cue Ball Group of Companies, a private holding company and venture capital firm focused on early growth equity investments in the information, Internet media, and specialty consumer industries. Until early 2005, he served as Senior Partner with The Parthenon Group, a strategy consulting firm where he remains Vice Chairman. In 1996 he founded the pioneering Internet and technology consulting company ZEFER, now Niteo Partners – a division of NEC. He began his professional career with McKinsey & Company. Additionally, Mr. Tjan is one of the World Economic Forum’s Global Leaders for Tomorrow and sits on the Boards and/or Advisory Boards of: Esplanade Capital, Knovel Corporation, MiniLuxe, Shape Up and the Editorial Advisory Board of MIT Technology Review. He holds an A.B. degree from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. |
