| Mussallem, Michael | Mr. Mussallem has been chairman of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation since 2000. Prior to 2000, he held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in engineering, product development and senior management at Baxter International Inc. Mr. Mussallem received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and was conferred an honorary doctorate by his alma mater in 1999. Mr. Mussallem is a director, and former chairman, of the California Healthcare Institute, a director of the OCTANe Foundation for Innovation and chairman of the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed). |
