Name Description
Icahn, Carl Carl C. Icahn has served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Federal-Mogul Corporation. since January 2008 and as a director since December 2007. Mr. Icahn has served as chairman of the board and a director of Starfire Holding Corporation, a privately-held holding company, and chairman of the board and a director of various subsidiaries of Starfire, since 1984. Since August 2007, through his position as Chief Executive Officer of Icahn Capital LP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Icahn Enterprises L.P. (“IEP”), and certain related entities, Mr. Icahn’s principal occupation is managing private investment funds, including Icahn Partners LP, Icahn Partners Master Fund LP, Icahn Partners Master Fund II LP and Icahn Partners Master Fund III LP. Mr. Icahn has been chairman of the board and a director of XO Holdings, Inc., a telecommunications services provider, since February 2006 and of its predecessor from January 2003 to February 2006. Mr. Icahn has served as a Director of Cadus Corporation, a company engaged in the ownership and licensing of yeast-based drug discovery technologies since July 1993. In May 2005, Mr. Icahn became a director of Blockbuster Inc., a provider of in-home movie rental and game entertainment. In October 2005, Mr. Icahn became a director of WestPoint International, Inc., a manufacturer of bed and bath home fashion products. Alapont, Jose José Maria Alapont has been President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Federal Mogul Corporation since March 2005. Mr. Alapont served as chairman of the board of directors of the Company from June 2005 to December 2007. Mr. Alapont has more than 35 years of global leadership experience in both vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, with business and operations responsibilities in the Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific regions. In 1998, he became responsible for Delphi energy and chassis systems international operations. In 1999, Mr. Alapont was named a vice president of Delphi Corporation and president of Delphi Europe, Middle East and Africa, and became a member of the Delphi Strategy Board, the company’s top policy-making group. In 2003, Mr. Alapont was promoted to president of Delphi’s international operations, and vice president of sales and marketing. From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Alapont served in several executive roles and was a member of the Strategy Board at Valeo, a global automotive supplier. He started at Valeo as managing director of engine cooling systems, Spain. In 1991, Mr. Alapont was named executive director of Valeo’s worldwide heavy-duty engine cooling operations. In 1992, he was promoted to group vice president of Valeo’s worldwide clutch and transmission components division. He was named group vice president of the company’s worldwide lighting systems division in 1996. Mr. Alapont began and developed his automotive career from 1974 to 1989 at Ford Motor Company and, over the course of 15 years, worked in different management and executive positions at Ford of Europe. Mr. Alapont earned degrees in industrial engineering from the Technical School of Valencia in Spain and in philology from the University of Valencia in Spain.
Kaminski, Jeff Jeff Kaminski has served as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President, Member - Strategy Board of Federal Mogul Corporation. Mr. Kaminski has served as senior vice president and chief financial officer since 2008, and a member of the Strategy Board of the Company since 2005. Previously, he was senior vice president, global purchasing. Prior to that, he was vice president of global supply-chain management. Katz, Robert Robert L. Katz has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary of Federal Mogul Corporation. Mr. Katz has served as senior vice president and general counsel since May 2007. He was appointed Secretary of the Company in December 2007. Mr. Katz joined the Company as vice president and general counsel in January 2007 and became a member of the Strategy Board of the Company. Bowers, William William S. Bowers has served as Senior Vice President, sales and marketing, and a member of the Strategy Board of Federal Mogul Corporation since 2006. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Bowers spent nearly 30 years at General Motors Corporation and Delphi Corporation, most recently as executive director of sales, marketing and planning for the energy and chassis division from 2002-2006. Previously, he was based in Tokyo, Japan, as the Asia-Pacific regional director for Delphi’s energy and chassis systems from 1998-2002. Goachet, Pascal Pascal Goachet has served as Senior Vice President - Human Resources and Organization, Member - Strategy Board of Federal Mogul Corporation since July 2006. Previously, he was named director of human resources, EMEA and Asia-Pacific in May 2005. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Goachet was a staff member of the French Ministry of Labor in 2005. He served as vice president of corporate human resources, NEC Computers International, a subsidiary of NEC Japan from 2000 to 2005; and divisional director, human resources, Group Lafarge, Special Materials Division from July 1996 to December 2000. Dalleur, Rene René L.F. Dalleur is Senior Vice President - Customer Satisfaction, Global Engineering & Manufacturing, member of the Strategy Board and an officer of Federal-Mogul Corporation. He is responsible for developing sustainable global profitable growth strategies and driving OE customer satisfaction through the advancement of safety products and performance systems, including friction, systems protection, ignition, fuel, wipers and lighting. Previously, Dalleur was senior vice president, Vehicle Safety and Protection; senior vice president, Global Friction Products; and vice president of sealing systems, ignition and wipers, Europe. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul in 1998 with the acquisition of Cooper Industries, Dalleur held various positions in engineering, purchasing, and plant and general management in the automotive and aerospace industries. Dalleur earned a diploma in management and a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Louvain, Belgium.
Jueckstock, Rainer Rainer Jueckstock has served as Senior Vice President - Powertrain Energy, Member - Strategy Board of Federal Mogul Corporation since April 2007. Previously, he was senior vice president, global Powertrain operations from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Jueckstock joined the Company in 1990, and has served as senior vice president, pistons, rings and liners; vice president, rings and liners; operations director, piston rings, Europe; and managing director of the Friedberg, Germany, operation. Hermiz, Ramzi Ramzi Y. Hermiz is Senior Vice President, Vehicle Safety and Protection, a member of the Strategy Board and an officer of Federal-Mogul Corporation. Hermiz joined Federal-Mogul in 1998 with the acquisition of Fel-Pro, Inc. Since then, Hermiz has held positions of increasing responsibility, beginning with director, purchasing; followed by director, pull systems and inventory; vice president, global supply-chain management; vice president of Federal-Mogul’s European Aftermarket operations; senior vice president, Sealing Systems; and most recently, senior vice president, Automotive Products. Brunol, Jean Jean Brunol has served as Senior Vice President - Business and Operations Strategy and a Member - Strategy Boardof Federal Mogul Corporation since 2005. Prior to joining the Company, from January 2004 to April 2005, Mr. Brunol was senior vice president, product and business strategy, international operations at IVECO, the commercial vehicle company of the Fiat Group. Previously, Mr. Brunol was business partner and executive advisor for private equity funds and independent companies. He also served as president of tube operations at Thomson from 2000-2002, and was chief executive officer of SAFT ALCATEL Battery & Power Systems Company from 1997 to 2000. Burkhart, James James C. Burkhart has served as Senior Vice President, Global Aftermarket, and a Member of Strategy Board of Federal Mogul Corporation since 2007. Previously, he served as vice president of global marketing, Aftermarket Products and Services since 2004. He joined the Company as senior vice president, global development in March 2007. Previously, from 2003 to 2007, Mr. Chochoy was executive vice president of the automotive seating group at Faurecia, based in Paris. Mr. German joined the Company in 1994 and has served as senior information systems consultant, valve train and transmission IS director, business unit IS director and corporate IS director, Asia Pacific Region. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. German progressed through various positions, including information technology manager, powertrain division, with a United Kingdom-based automotive supplier.
Bozynski, David David A. Bozynski has served as Vice President and Treasurer of Federal Mogul Corporation since 1996. Prior to joining the Company in 1996, Mr. Bozynski had a 21-year career with Unisys, where his last appointment was vice president and assistant treasurer. Previously, he served as vice president, line of business finance, responsible for the finance function of Unisys’ four commercial lines of business. Mr. Bozynski also served as vice president, corporate business analysis.
Gaut, Steven Steven K. Gaut has served as Vice President - Corporate Communications and Government Relations, Member - Strategy Board of Federal Mogul Corporation since April 2008. Prior to joining the Company in April 2008, he was director of communications and marketing services for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and global powertrain division for Delphi Corporation, based in Paris, France. From 2003 to 2008, Mr. Gaut served in roles of increasing responsibility in communications, sales, marketing and planning at Delphi Corporation while based in Europe. Intrieri, Vincent Vincent J. Intrieri is Director of Federal-Mogul Corporation., since December 2007. Since January 1, 2005, Mr. Intrieri has been senior managing director of Icahn Associates Corp. and High River Limited Partnership, entities primarily engaged in the business of holding and investing in securities. Since April 2005, Mr. Intrieri has been the president and chief executive officer of Philip Services Corporation, a metal recycling and industrial services company. Since August 2005, Mr. Intrieri has served as a director of American Railcar Industries, Inc. (“ARI”), a company that is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing covered hopper and tank railcars. Since March 2006, Keith Meister has served as principal executive officer and vice chairman of the board of Icahn Enterprises G.P. Fluid Routing filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 in February 2009 and emerged from Chapter 11 in March 2009. Vandenberghe, James James H. Vandenberghe is Director of Federal-Mogul Corporation., since February 2008. Mr. Vandenberghe was vice chairman of Lear Corporation, a supplier of automotive systems and components until May 2008. He had been affiliated with Lear and its predecessor companies for 35 years and was named vice chairman in November 1998. Mr. Vandenberghe joined Lear Siegler Inc. in 1973 as a financial analyst and advanced to higher-level positions in financial and general management capacities.
