Name Description

Robert Quinn

Mr. Robert J. Quinn, B.S., B.A., J.D., serves as Independent Chairman of the Board of Formation Metals Inc. Mr. Quinn has been a director of the Company since August 20, 1999. Mr. Quinn is a lawyer and a founding partner of the Houston law firm of Quinn & Brooks LLP which provides corporate and transactional legal services to the international mining community. Mr. Quinn has over 27 years of legal and management industry experience, including serving as the Vice President and General Counsel of Houston-based Battle Mountain Gold Company, an attorney with the Denver law firm of Holland & Hart and an attorney with Idaho-based Hecla Mining Company. Mr. Quinn is presently a director of a number of other TSX-listed public mining companies.

Cecil Andrus

Governor Cecil D. Andrus has been re-designated as Emeritus Director of Formation Metals Inc., with effect from may 28, 2013. Mr. Andrus previously served four terms as the governor of Idaho (1971-1977 and 1987-1995) and a former U.S. Secretary of the Interior (1977 – 1981). Mr. Andrus has served on the boards of Albertson’s, Key Bank and Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation since leaving office in 1995. He currently is “of counsel” to the Gallatin Group, a northwest based public affairs firm and chairman of the Andrus Center for Public Policy at Boise State University.

J. Paul Farquharson

Mr. J. Paul Farquharson has been appointed as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Formation Metals Inc., effective January 15, 2014. Mr. Farquharson has been Chief Financial Officer of the Company since August 1995. Mr. Farquharson has over 25 years experience in financial management and regulatory compliance with private and public resource companies across Canada. Over the last 16 years he has been responsible for financial and compliance matters for the Company and has assisted with the raising of venture capital and the corporate development of the Company.

Mr. Alan D. Vichert, B.A., B.Sc. (Geol), M.B.A., CRM., serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Risk Officer, Corporate Administrator of Formation Metals Inc. Mr. Vichert has many years of geological and business experience in the Middle East, the Caribbean, the USA and Canada. Before joining Formation Metals, Mr. Vichert spent a decade with the International Financial Centre Vancouver promoting world-wide business in Vancouver. He assists Formation in matters of business development and is responsible for ensuring that business ventures engaged in by the company are managed in the manner most likely to reduce risk for shareholders.

Eric Honsinger

Mr. Eric R. Honsinger, B.Sc., P.Geo., serves as Vice President - Corporate Communications of Formation Metals Inc.Mr. Honsinger's geological and technical background brings over 25 years of project management, exploration and I.R. related experience to the Company. He is directly responsible for Corporate Communications and related compliance and liaisons with retail, high net worth and institutional shareholders. He has managed and contributed to the success of numerous field and special projects during his employment history with Formation.

David Christie

Mr. David Christie, PGeo, is Director of Formation Metals Inc. Mr. Christie worked as an exploration geologist with a number of resource companies for more than 14 years before moving to a mining equity research role in 2000. In 2001 he was promoted to the gold and precious mineral equity analyst role at TD Securities and moved to Scotia Capital in 2007 as the senior gold and precious minerals analyst, where he was highly ranked in industry surveys. Mr. Christie joined Bellotti Goodman Inc. as president in 2011 and assumed the role of vice-president of Goodman and Company Investment Counsel Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Dundee Corp., in late 2012. Mr. Christie is a professional geologist with APGO and NAPEG, is a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada, and has been a member of the PDAC convention committee for the past six years. Mr. Christie is also a director of Eagle Hill Exploration Corp. and Condor Precious Metals Inc.

Gregory Hahn

Mr. Gregory A. Hahn hasa been appointed as Director of Formation Metals Inc., with effect from May 28, 2013. Mr. Hahn brings a diversified set of geological and mining skills to the board with over three decades of mining industry experience. He is currently the president and chief operating officer of Canamex Resources Corp. Previously a director, and interim president and chief executive officer of Metalline Mining Company, he was responsible for restructuring the company in a merger that resulted in an increase in market capitalization from $40-million to over $140-million in eight months. He has served on the board of numerous companies, including Marathon PGM Corp., which eventually was sold to Stillwater Mining for $170-million at premium to the market. Former president and CEO of Constellation Copper Corp., he formed Summo Minerals (which became Constellation) and took it public on the Toronto Stock Exchange raising over $100-million in equity.

Scott Hean

Mr. Scott B. Hean is Director of Formation Metals Inc. Mr. Hean is currently the chief financial officer of Quaterra Resources Inc., a TSX Venture Exchange- and OTCQX-listed junior mining exploration company, and is a member of the audit and chair of the compensation committee of Sabina Gold & Silver Corp, a TSX-V-listed company. Mr. Hean has held senior management and executive positions with J.P. Morgan of New York, primarily financing junior oil and gas companies. He also served as senior vice-president and managing director with the Bank of Montreal, responsible for natural resources sector financing in North America. He has served on numerous not-for-profit boards including Outward Bound Canada, B.C. Children's Hospital, and is currently chair of the Bill Reid Trust. Mr. Hean graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1973 and from the Ivey School of Business in London, Ont., in 1975. He also graduated in 2006 from the Institute of Corporate Directors, directors education program.

James Engdahl

Mr. James B. P. Engdahl serves as an Independent Director of Formation Metals Inc., since August 28, 1992. Mr. Engdahl is President of Great Western Minerals Group Ltd. and former Managing Director, Prairie Region, Windy Point Capital.Mr. Engdahl has over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance, management, accounting and administration with major financial institutions such as Barclays Bank of Canada and the Bank of Montreal.

Robert Metka

Mr. Robert G. Metka, B.Sc., Eng., M.B.A., serves as an Independent Director of Formation Metals Inc., since June 11, 1998. He was V.P. of Projects for Noranda Minerals and V.P. and General Manager of CEZinc. He is presently a Principal of Hatch, the world's international hydrometallurgical company. He received a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and a Master of Science in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His professional affiliations include the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec, Professional Engineers of Ontario and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

David Stone

Dr. David Michael Raymond Stone, Ph.D., M.B.A., P.E., P.Eng., serves as an Independent Director of Formation Metals Inc., since May 10, 2002. Dr. Stone holds a B.A. Sc. in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA and PhD in Civil Engineering from Queen’s University. He is a licensed professional engineer in numerous Canadian and United States jurisdictions. Dr. Stone sits on a number of Boards of TSX and TSX Venture Exchange listed companies. He is President of Minefill Services Inc.
