Mr. Petty served as a Consultant to the Franklin Mining President and Board of Directors from October 2003 until his appointment as CEO and President in September 2007. Mr. Petty has, during the past thirty years, been involved in developing multiple mining, energy, construction and manufacturing projects in South America and Mexico. His business relationships in Bolivia were invaluable in securing the Escala Mina I and San Antonio de Turiri Mine joint-ventures. Rea Mendoza, Walter Mr. Walter Rea Mendoza has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Franklin Mining, Inc. Mr. Rea Mendoza earned an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Boliviana, La Paz, Bolivia and a graduate degree in Management at Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Before joining Franklin Mining Bolivia in 2007, Mr. Rea Mendoza worked in Santa Cruz as a financial analyst from April 1998 to May 2007 specializing in risk analysis. Mr. Rea Mendoza's clients included two private foundations (FASSIL SA and Project Urbanization Don Jose), La Guardia Banco Santa Cruz, the Ministry of Strategic Planning and Taipinquiri (Santa Cruz Architecture, Art and Cultural Center). He currently holds no board memberships and no advisory or consulting positions related to or in conflict with Franklin Mining Bolivia or Franklin Mining, Inc.
Kesselman, Mark Mr. Mark L. Kesselman has been appointed as Executive Vice-President for Corporate Development of Franklin Mining, Inc. Mr. Kesselman also holds officer and director roles for both public and private companies including President, Eurofinance, Inc. and Secretary & Director of Ecometals, Ltd. Between 1974 and 1992, Mr. Kesselman held a number of senior management positions at Citibank N.A. (Citigroup); from 1979 to 1984, Mr. Kesselman was Vice President at Allen & Company Inc., a merchant banking boutique.
Spenkoch, Kurt Mr. Kurt Spenkoch serves as Treasurer, Secretary, Director of Franklin Mining, Inc. Mr. Spenkoch has been a member of the Company’s executive staff since October 2003 serving as Director and Vice-President of Operations through mid-February 2008 with continuing service as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors following his resignation as Vice-President. Mr. Spenkoch worked 20 years with a steel fabrications company, including three years as CEO. For the past ten years, Mr. Spenkoch has been an investor in oil and gas and an import-export firm specializing in distributing new technologies to South America. Mr. Spenkoch also serves as Secretary of Tradestar Resources Corporation, an independent energy company headquartered in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Franklin Mining, Inc. has no relationship with Tradestar Resources Corporation.
