| Rawls, Jerry | Mr. Jerry Rawls has served as a member of Finisar Corporation board of Directors since March 1989 and as the Chairman of the Board since January 2006. Mr. Rawls served as the company's Chief Executive Officer from August 1999 until the completion of the Optium merger in August 2008. Mr. Rawls also served as President from April 2003 until the completion of the Optium merger and previously held that title from April 1989 to September 2002. From September 1968 to February 1989, Mr. Rawls was employed by Raychem Corporation, a materials science and engineering company, where he held various management positions including Division General Manager of the Aerospace Products Division and Interconnection Systems Division. Mr. Rawls holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and an M.S. in Industrial Administration from Purdue University. |
| Gertel, Eitan | Mr. Eitan Gertel was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Finisar Corporation and as a Director since the completion of the Optium merger in August 2008.
