Lee Mitau |
Mr. Lee R. Mitau is an Independent Chairman of the Board of HB Fuller Company. He is Director of H.B. Fuller Company since 1996 and was appointed Chairman of the company in December 2006. He is Executive Vice President and General Counsel, U.S. Bancorp, a bank holding company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Mitau has been Executive Vice President and General Counsel of U.S. Bancorp since 1995. He will retire from U.S. Bancorp on March 1, 2013. Mr. Mitau serves as Chairman of the H.B. Fuller Board, Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and as a member of the Compensation Committee, and has public company legal and governance experience. |

Mr. James J. Owens is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of HB Fuller Company. Mr. Owens was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of H.B. Fuller Company in November 2010. Prior to that appointment, he served as Senior Vice President, Americas from January to November 2010 and as Senior Vice President, North America from August 2008 to January 2010. Prior to joining H.B. Mr. R. William Van Sant serves as an Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of H.B. Fuller Company since 2011. He has been Operating Partner, Stone Arch Capital, LLC, a private equity fund based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. Van Sant joined Stone Arch Capital, LLC as an Operating Partner in January 2008. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Paladin (a Dover Company), a manufacturer of heavy-duty construction products headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from August 2006 to December 2007, and he served as Chairman at Paladin from July 2005 to August 2006. In addition, he previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Paladin from October 2003 to July 2005. Mr. James R. Giertz is Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of HB Fuller Co., since March 3, 2008. He served as senior managing director and chief financial officer at GMAC ResCap. Prior to that, Mr. Giertz was employed by Donaldson Company, Inc. During his 12 years with Donaldson Company, Inc, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer, and senior vice president of commercial and industrial products. In the latter position, he oversaw a group of global businesses. In addition, Mr. Giertz has experience with General Motors Corporation where he served as assistant treasurer of the company's operations, and also held several international treasury positions in Canada and Europe.
