Name Description

Robert Lawson

 Mr. Robert A. Lawson serves as Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board of Genus PLC. He is also Non-Executive Chairman of Barratt Developments plc and is shortly to retire as Chairman of Hays plc. He is also Director of The Federation of Groundwork Trusts. His career has spanned several United Kingdom and continental groups including 10 years as Chief Executive of Electrocomponents plc its expansion into new international markets and three years as Managing Director of Vitec Group plc. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Cambridge University.

Karim Bitar

 Mr. Karim Bitar serves as Chief Executive, Executive Director of Genus PLC. He worked for over 15 years with Eli Lilly and Company (‘Lilly’) and was President of Lilly Europe, Canada and Australia before joining the Company. An ex-McKinsey & Company consultant, who worked across Asia and in Europe, he has also held management roles at Johnson & Johnson and the Dow Chemical Company.

John Worby

 Mr. John Worby is no longer a Group Finance Director, Executive Director of Genus PLC., effective March 31, 2013. He joined the Board of Directors of the Company as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors on September 1, 2004 and was Chairman of the Audit Committee until he became Group Finance Director on February 26, 2009. He is Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Cranswick plc and Smiths News plc, and was previously Deputy Chairman and Finance Director of Uniq plc (formerly Unigate plc) having been Finance Director of Wincanton Ltd.

Stephen Wilson

 Mr. Stephen Wilson serves as Group Finance Director, Director of Genus PLC. He has been appointed as Director of the Company effective January 14, 2013 and as a Group Finance Director of the Company effective March 1, 2013. He is currently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Misys, the financial services software provider that was a FTSE 250 listed company until its recent acquisition by Vista Equity Partners. Prior to Misys, he was Vice President and CFO of IBM UK. Stephen is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and is a Non-Executive Director of Xchanging plc.

Bill Christianson

 Mr. Bill Christianson serves as Chief Operating Officer of Genus PLC. Bill has doctorates in Veterinary Medicine and in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota. He joined Genus in 1993. Before his current appointment in July of this year, he held various operational roles within Genus, including serving as General Manager of the PIC North America business in 2007 and as Chief Operating Officer of the Americas from March 2010.

Denny Funk

 Dr. Denny Funk, Ph.D, has been appointed as Chief Scientific Officer of Genus PLC effective 4 January 2012. He will have full responsibility for the Company's research & development (R&D) programme. Dr. Denny Funk was an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before joining Genus in 1995.

 Mr. Ian Farrelly serves as Group Company Secretary, General Counsel, Executive Director of Genus PLC. He is solicitor. He joined the Company from Microgen plc, where he was Group General Counsel, and was previously Group Solicitor and Company Secretary of Diagonal plc having been Solicitor to Hays plc

Catherine Glickman

 Ms. Catherine Glickman has been appointed as Director - Group Human Resources of Genus Plc effective January 5, 2012. Until recently, Catherine was the Head of HR at Tesco, one of the global retailers. During her 20 years at Tesco she was instrumental in developing the HR strategy that helped drive the retailer's growth and international expansion in recent years. Overall, she has over 25 years' experience in HR, within Tesco and beyond. Catherine is responsible the Group's talent management strategy as well as taking responsibility for engaging, equipping and investing in Genus employees to help the Group deliver its ambitious plans for growth.

Ricardo Campos

 Mr. Ricardo Campos is Chief Operating Officer - Genus ABS of Genus PLC. Ricardo has degrees in Business Administration, Agribusiness Administration and Management from the SNA Agribusiness School, Santiago, Chile. Having joined Genus in 2004 from an ABS distributor that was purchased by the Group, he was instrumental in establishing ABS businesses in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia – all of which enabled the Latin America business to achieve double-digit growth. Subsequent roles included leadership of the genetic business in the Caribbean and Marketing Specialist for non-genetic products and Genus Latin America Managing Director.

Jerry Thompson

 Mr. Jerry Thompson is Chief Operating Officer - Genus Asia of Genus PLC. Jerry graduated with a BSc Hons in Agriculture from Seale Hayne College, Devon and has worked for PIC and subsequently Genus for almost 20 years. After two years in the UK business he moved to Eastern Europe where he has held a number of roles including Managing Director for PIC Romania and for the Central and Eastern European PIC business. In 2008, Jerry moved to the position of Regional Director for PIC Europe. He became Regional Director for the Russia and Asia Pacific Region based in Shanghai in 2010.

Mike Buzzacott

 Mr. Mike Buzzacott serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Genus PLC. He spent 34 years at BP prior to his retirement in 2004, holding a number of international roles including Finance and Control Director for Asia Pacific, Chief Financial Officer of BP Nutrition and Group Vice President for Petrochemicals. He is Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee Chairman of Croda Plc and Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Scapa Plc. He was formerly Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rexam Plc and Chairman of Biofuels Plc.

Barrington Furr

 Professor Dr. Barrington J. A. Furr, Ph.D., serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Genus PLC. He retired as Chief Scientist and Head of Project Evaluation for AstraZeneca plc after 34 years of service. He is Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency and was awarded an Order of the British Empire in 2000 for his services to cancer drug discovery. He joined the Board on December 1, 2006 and chairs the Board’s Science Committee. He is author of more than 160 papers on reproductive endocrinology and antihormones.

Nigel Turner

 Mr. Nigel Turner serves as Senior Non-Executive Independent Director of Genus PLC. He was Chairman of Numis Securities Ltd and Deputy Chairman of Numis Corporation plc from December 2005 to November 2007. Previously, he was Vice Chairman of ABN AMRO’s Wholesale and Investment Bank in which he had specific responsibility for the Global Corporate Finance and Equity businesses. He joined the Dutch bank in 2000 from Lazard, where he was a partner for 15 years and sat on its Supervisory Board.
