Name Description

Geoffrey Brunsdon

Mr. Geoffrey (Geoff) Norman Brunsdon is Non-Executive Independent Chairman of the Board of APN Funds Management Limited, the Responsible Entity of Generation Healthcare REIT, since April 2012. Geoff has had a career in investment banking spanning more than 25 years. Until June 2009 he was Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking of Merrill Lynch International (Australia) Limited. He is a member of the Australian Takeovers Panel, Chairman of Sims Metal Management Limited, ING Private Equity Access Limited and MetLife Insurance Limited, and a non-executive director of Macquarie University Hospital. Geoff is also a director of Redkite (supporting families who have children with cancer), the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists and Purves Environmental Custodians. He holds B.Com, CA, F Fin, FAICD.

Miles Wentworth

Mr. Miles Wentworth is Chief Executive Officer of Generation Healthcare REIT since August 17, 2006. Mr. Miles has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and property funds management, 16 of which have been specifically in healthcare fund, property and development management. Miles has overall responsibility for the day to day management and performance of Generation Healthcare REIT. His responsibilities include formulating and implementing the overall strategy of the Fund, capital management, financial reporting and investor relations. Miles holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Otago University, is a Chartered Accountant and member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Michael Groth

Mr. Michael Groth has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of APN Funds Management Limited, the responsible entity of Generation Healthcare REIT., with effect from 27 June 2014. Michael’s professional career has spanned over 7 years with KPMG Melbourne, where he worked closely with a number of major listed companies and stockbrokers before moving to the United Kingdom to work in the financial services industry and for a government regulatory body. Since joining APN in 2006, Michael has had broad exposure across all areas of the Group, most recently in the role of Director, Corporate Finance where he has been responsible for working with APN’s businesses to support their growth as well as being responsible for accounting, taxation and treasury across the business and a key contributor to setting the business’s direction and strategy.

Howard Brenchley

Mr. Howard E. Brenchley is Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director of APN Funds Management Limited, the Responsible Entity of Generation Healthcare REIT since August 12, 2011. Howard has a long history in the Australian property investment industry with 26 years’ experience analysing and investing in the sector. Howard joined APN in 1998 and was responsible for establishing the APN Funds Management business. In this capacity he developed a suite of new property securities and direct property funds, including the flagship APN Property for Income Fund, one of the property securities funds in Australia. Prior to joining APN, Howard was co-founder and research director of Property Investment Research Pty Limited, one of Australia’s independent research companies, specialising in the property trust sector. Howard is also a sought after commentator and speaker on property investment. He has lectured on property and property securities investment for Industry associations, Universities and financial planning dealer groups.

Leonard Adams

Mr. Leonard (Chris) Christopher Adams is Director of Generation Healthcare Management Pty Ltd., a subsidiary Company of Generation Healthcare REIT. Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the property industry in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, including over 15 years experience in health sector property acquisitions, transaction structuring, largescale hospital developments and portfolio management. Chris’s responsibilities include overseeing the property portfolio along with acquisitions and developments undertaken by the Fund. Chris holds a Bachelor of Property from University of Auckland.

John Freemantle

Mr. John Freemantle, CPA, is Company Secretary of APN Funds Management Limited, the responsible entity of Generation Healthcare REIT. He resigned from the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company with effect from 27 June 2014. John has been involved in the property industry since 1977. Before joining APN in 2006, he worked with Dillingham Constructions, Jennings Property Group and Centro Property Group, where he held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for 17 years. John is also Chief Financial Officer of the APN Group.

Jennifer Horrigan

Ms. Jennifer Horrigan is Non-Executive Independent Director of APN Funds Management Limited, the Responsible Entity of Generation Healthcare REIT, since April 30, 2012. Jennifer is currently a Principal and Head of Operations at Greenhill Caliburn, a independent corporate advisory firm. She also has 16 years’ experience as a advisor to Australian and international corporations on financial communications, investor relations and corporate issues. Jennifer has advised on some of Australia’s most high profile transactions. Her career has included roles as Managing Director, Sydney, of the world’s PR consulting firm, Burson-Marsteller, before co-founding Savage & Horrigan, a corporate and financial communications firm, in partnership with Ogilvy and STW, where she served as Managing Partner for five years. She has experience in enterprise management, including the supervision and management of compliance, financial management and reporting, HR and other critical administrative areas. Jennifer is also a director of Redkite (national children’s cancer charity, formerly the Malcolm Sargeant Fund for Children), an associate member of Finsia (Financial Services Institute of Australia) and is involved with fundraising and support of The Mater Hospital, North Sydney (Patricia Ritchie Centre for Cancer Care). She holds BBus, GradDipMgt, GradDipAppFin, MAICD.

Michael Johnstone

Mr. Michael Francis Johnstone is Non-Executive Independent Director of APN Funds Management Limited, the Responsible Entity of Generation Healthcare REIT. Michael has 40 years of global business experience in chief executive and general management roles and more recently in non-executive directorships. He has lived and worked in overseas locations including the USA, has been involved in a range of industries and has specialised in corporate and property finance and investment, property development and funds management. His career has included lengthy periods in corporate roles, including 10 years as one of the Global General Managers of the National Australia Bank Group. He has experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and corporate structuring. Michael is a non-executive director of the Responsible Entity of the listed Australian Education Trust and the Australian Social Infrastructure Fund. He is also a non-executive director of a number of companies in private environments, including the not for profit sector. He holds BTRP, LS, AMP (Harvard).
