Fontaine, R. Richard R. Richard Fontaine is the Executive Chairman of the Board of GameStop Corp.. He served as the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from GameStop’s predecessor company’s initial public offering in February 2002 until August 2008. Mr. Fontaine is also a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Fontaine served as the Chief Executive Officer of the predecessor companies from November 1996 to February 2002. He has been an executive officer or director in the video game industry since 1988.
DeMatteo, Daniel Daniel A. DeMatteo is a director and has been the Chief Executive Officer of GameStop Corp. since August 2008. He served as Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer from March 2005 to August 2008. Prior to March 2005, Mr. DeMatteo served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company or the predecessor companies since November 1996. He has served on the Board since 2002 and has been an executive officer in the video game industry since 1988.
Smith, Catherine Ms. Catherine R. (Cathy) Smith is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of GameStop Corp. Most recently she served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Dallas-based Centex Corporation. Freeman, Shawn Mr. Shawn D. Freeman is Senior Vice President, General Manager - Digital Business of GameStop Corp. Mr. Freeman has 20-years senior management experience building and online businesses for several noteworthy companies in a variety of industries, including travel, mobile and live entertainment. Most recently he was president of Chicago-based Ticketsnow.com and senior vice president of resale for Ticketmaster North America where he was responsible for all of Ticketmaster's resale operations in North America including key resale partnerships with the NFL and NHL. Previously he was the chief technology officer and general manager of the direct-to-consumer business for Handango.com, a smartphone content retailer with more than 16,000 content partners, on-device application partners, and direct-to-consumer Internet distribution network. Prior to that he was chief information officer for Hotels.com responsible for building and managing one of the world's online travel sites. Additionally he was the founder of Big Theory LLC/Focus 2, a boutique e-commerce consulting company that was acquired by Worldwide Xceed Group a publicly traded global consulting company, where he served as a member of the senior executive team managing key Fortune 500 accounts such as Hilton Hotels and Herman Miller.
Riggio, Leonard Leonard Riggio is a director of GameStop Corp. and Chair of the Executive Committee. Mr. Riggio was the Chairman of the Board of GameStop or its predecessor companies from November 1996 until GameStop’s initial public offering in February 2002. He has served as an executive officer or director in the video game industry since 1987. Mr. Riggio has been Chairman of the Board and a principal stockholder of Barnes & Noble, Inc. (“Barnes & Noble”) since its inception in 1986 and served as Chief Executive Officer from its inception in 1986 until February 2002. Since 1965, Mr. Riggio has been Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and the principal stockholder of Barnes & Noble College Booksellers, Inc. (“B&N College”), one of the largest operators of college bookstores in the country. Since 1985, Mr. Riggio has been Chairman of the Board and a principal beneficial owner of MBS Textbook Exchange, Inc., one of the nation’s largest wholesalers of college textbooks.
Rosen, Michael Michael N. Rosen is a director of GameStop Corp. and has served as a director for the Company or the predecessor companies since October 1999. Mr. Rosen is also a member of the Executive Committee and served as the Secretary of the Company or the predecessor companies from October 1999 until May 2007. Steinberg, Stanley Stanley (Mickey) Steinberg is a director of GameStop Corp. and has served as a director since the EB merger in October 2005. Mr. Steinberg served as a director of EB from September 1998 until the completion of the EB merger.
