Name Description
Ciccarelli, Larry Mr. Larry Ciccarelli is Executive Chairman of the Board of GlobeStar Mining Corporation. He was Interim Chief Executive Officer from February 2008 to October 2008. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Western Ontario. He has served as Vice President and Secretary of Karr Securities Inc., a private investment firm.Mr. Ciccarelli has served as founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sarmin since 1997, a privately held corporation prior to its acquisition by GlobeStar (TGW Corp). Mr. Ciccarelli through Sarmin was responsible for the acquisition of Corporacion Minera Dominicana, a wholly owned subsidiary of Falconbridge International Investment Limited. Corporacion Minera Dominicana (CMD) was Falconbridge’s Latin American exploration company. Through CMD, Sarmin acquired Falconbridge’s exploration staff, its assets, including all the exploration data.Mr. Ciccarelli served as executive director and subsequent Executive Chairman of GlobeStar. He was responsible for the acquisitions of the Cerro de Maimón deposit from Falcondo, Falconbrige’s nickel operations in the Dominican Republic.Mr. Ciccarelli also has served as Chief Operating Officer of CF Hospitality Inc. from 1992 to 1997, which partnered with Working Ventures, Canada’s largest labor sponsored capital fund focusing on strategic acquisitions in the hospitality sector while managing over 1000 employees. He also served on the Advisory Board as the sole Canadian representative for Cendant Corporation (NYSE).
Brace, David Mr. David W. Brace is appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Director of GlobeStar Mining Corporation. Mr. Brace Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation since October 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. Brace was the Executive Vice President Business Development of Aur Resources Inc. from January 2005 to August 2007, and prior to that was the President, South America Division, of Aur Resources Inc.
Massola, David Mr. Massola has been Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President - Finance of GlobeStar Mining Corporation. Prior thereto, Chief Financial Officer of De Beers Canada Inc.; prior thereto, Mr. Massola spent 20 years with BHP-Billiton in various positions in Canada, Chile and the United States most recently in 1997 through 2001 as Vice President of Finance of BHP-Billiton’s Ekati Diamond Mine.
Olson, A. Eric Mr. Olson has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of GlobeStar Mining Corporation. Eric joined the GlobeStar team in 2006 and has been instrumental in bringing the Cerro de Maimon copper-gold-silver mine into production essentially on time and on budget with Commercial Production declared, as previously reported, as of January 1, 2009. Eric is a mining engineer registered with the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and has over 25 years of progressively increasing responsibilities in the mining industry, including positions in operations, management, corporate development and marketing. He is a Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101 who has supervised the preparation and verification of most of the technical information related to the Cerro de Maimon mine. Eric will be assuming responsibility for the leadership and management of GlobeStar's mining operation as well as any new development or mining opportunities while reporting to GlobeStar's Chief Executive Officer.
Iannozzi, John Mr.Iannozzi is Director of Globestar Mining Corporation. He has been a Chartered Accountant since 1987 after obtaining an Honors Bachelors of Commerce Degree from the University of Windsor, Ontario in 1985. He is Chief Financial Officer of GlobeStar from September 2002 to December 2006 and Treasurer of Karmin Exploration Inc. since August 1998. Mr. Iannozzi has also been the Vice President of Finance at Karr since 1994. From 1987 to 1994, Mr. Iannozzi was the Manager at BDO Dunwoody LLP and Coopers & Lybrand LLP.
Ortslan, Terence Terence S. Ortslan is Director of Globestar Mining Corporation. He is Mr. Ortslan has been an independent consultant since 1995 and Managing Director of TSO & Associates since 2005. Prior to 2005, he was a mining analyst in the investment industry.
Faucher, Richard Mr. Faucher is Director of Globestar Mining Corporation. He is Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Royalties Inc. from 2005 to 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. Faucher was the President of Niocan Inc. from 1999 to 2005, the President of Princeton Mining Corp. from 1995 to 1997 and the President of Falconbridge Dominicana from 1992 to 1994.
Feiner, Stuart Mr. Feiner is Director of Globestar Mining Corporation effective May 10, 2007. Mr. Feiner currently is a Consultant to certain organizations, focusing on the mining industry and related businesses and on business development and other areas. Employed by Inco Limited (now Vale Inco) in various capacities over a 30 year career, including serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Inco Limited from August 1993 to March 2006. Retired from Inco Limited in August 2006.
