Name Description

Patrick Dennis

Mr. Patrick Dennis is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Guidance Software, Inc. Before joining Guidance Software, Mr. Dennis was a Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – Products and Marketing at EMC Corporation. During his 12-year tenure with EMC, Mr. Dennis held executive roles in sales, services and engineering. Most recently, Mr. Dennis was responsible for the strategy and operations of EMC's Cloud Management Division. Previously, Mr. Dennis was the Group Vice President of North American Storage Sales for Oracle Corporation, where his responsibilities included providing leadership, strategy, and development of the company's North American commercial business. Most recently, Mr. Dennis served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer for EMC's Cloud Management Division responsible for divisional strategy and long-range plan, mergers and acquisitions, and general management of the networking business. He also held the role of Chief Operating Officer for EMC's Enterprise and Mid-Range Systems Business groups. In this role, Mr. Dennis led and developed the 3,500-employee global technical sales force. Mr. Dennis' diverse general management experience includes information technology and business leadership roles in startups, small business and global enterprises. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Barry Plaga

Mr. Barry J. Plaga is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He was Interim Chief Executive Officer of Guidance Software, Inc. He was Chief Financial Officer of Guidance Software, Inc. He was formerly Vice President of Financial Global Processes at Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAVA), where he reported to the Chief Financial Officer, and where he oversaw financial planning and forecasting, finance program management, and the finance components of Sun's Oracle ERP project. Previously he served for six years as chief financial officer of SeeBeyond Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: SBYN), where he was responsible, in addition to his core finance and accounting role, for mergers and acquisitions, legal, information technology, human resources, administration, and facilities. Prior to SeeBeyond, Mr. Plaga served as Chief Financial Officer of Activision, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI) for two years, and as Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Activision for six years before that. Mr. Plaga is a Certified Public Accountant with graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Southern California.

Alfredo Gomez

Mr. Alfredo Gomez serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of the Company. Previously, Gomez served as Deputy General Counsel at Hanmi Bank and General Counsel at the publicly traded EMCORE Corporation. In these positions, he directed and executed on legal strategies in the areas of contracts, litigation, employment, compliance, governance, and securities. Gomez earned a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University. He has also held legal positions at j2 Global Communications Inc., Western Digital Corporation, and Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, LLP.

Stephanie Urbach

Ms. Stephanie Urbach is Senior Vice President - Human Resources of Guidance Software, Inc. Previously, Ms. Urbach worked as a human resources leader for Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., (JEC). From 1988 to 2012, Ms. Urbach held various management positions at Avery Dennison (AVY), including as head of human resources for technology. Ms. Urbach has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 1988. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English American Studies from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Ken Basore

Mr. Ken Basore is Senior Vice President - Product Engineering of Guidance Software, Inc. Mr. Basore joined Guidance Software in 2000 and has overseen research and development since 2004. Most recently, he served as Guidance's chief information officer in charge of information security, IT operations, internal infrastructure, and the company's software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment. During his tenure at Guidance, Basore has also led the technical support, training, operations, and professional services teams, as well as providing oversight to the Forensic Business Unit.

Rasmus Van Der Colff

Mr. Rasmus Van Der Colff is Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer of Guidance Software, Inc. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for THQ, Inc. (NASDQ: THQI), where he oversaw worldwide accounting, financial reporting and tax. Prior to THQ, Inc. he served two years at Sun Microsystems as Director of Global Accounting, where he was responsible for overseeing the worldwide accounting organization. Previously he served as Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer for See Beyond Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: SBYN), overseeing worldwide accounting, financial reporting and tax. Prior to See Beyond, he served as Vice President Finance for Activision, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI) for three years and Corporate Controller for three years before that. Mr. van der Colff was also an auditor with KPMG in South Africa for four years. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a graduate degree from the University of South Africa and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Michael Harris

Mr. Michael W. Harris is Chief Marketing Officer of Guidance Software, Inc. Harris has led a broad range of businesses from startups to multi-billion dollar public companies. Prior to joining Guidance Software, Harris served as Vice President, Products for j2 Global, a world leader in cloud services where he set the product direction, priorities and roadmap, as well as led merger and acquisition product integrations. Harris also held CEO roles for a number of technology startups while at Idealab, as well as serving as CEO for Adapt Technologies. Before Adapt, he held senior executive leadership roles at Yahoo!'s Overture Services Division, FileNET, and Stac Software.

Linda Souza

Ms. Linda Souza is the Vice President - Product Marketing and Operations of Guidance Software, Inc. Ms. Souza is responsible for product marketing across the entire EnCase® software platform including defining and executing go-to-market strategies, product positioning and messaging, sales enablement, and tracking market intelligence. Her responsibilities also include driving demand generation, measuring marketing effectiveness, evolving the brand and overseeing development of all market-facing materials including collateral, the website, and campaigns. Ms. Souza holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, and a Master of Arts in Global Marketing Communication and Advertising from Emerson College, Brussels, Belgium. She also earned a diploma in Marketing Communications from the International Advertising Association, Brussels, Belgium, and a Certificat Pratique de Français Commercial et Economique from l'Université Stendhal, in Grenoble, France.

Jeff Hines

Mr. Jeff Hines is Vice President - Sales, Americas Theatre of the Company. Also a 20-year veteran of the technology industry, Mr. Hines held high profile sales and channel positions at Hitachi Data Systems, EMC and Oracle Corporation. As a forward-thinking sales leader, Hines implemented customer-focused sales strategies and built teams in the enterprise software industry that drove sustainable multimillion dollar revenue quarters. Mr. Hines earned a BS degree in marketing from Indiana University.

Scott Skidmore

Mr. Scott Skidmore is Vice President - Global Channel Sales of the Company. technology executive with more than 20 years of sales management experience, Mr. Skidmore was most recently the vice president of worldwide sales at Permabit after serving as vice president of channel sales for the Americas at CommVault. Prior to joining CommVault, Mr. Skidmore was vice president of worldwide sales at Zetta, a cloud storage-as-a-service company, and held executive management positions at EMC and EqualLogic, where he helped facilitate the integration of the company into Dell's business after it was acquired for $1.4 billion. Mr. Skidmore earned his BS degree in business and economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Chad McManamy

Chad McManamy, Esq, serves as theVice President - E-Discovery and Assistant General Counsel of Guidance Software, Inc. In this position, McManamy will work with judicial, legal industry and corporate e-discovery professionals to ensure that their specific needs are represented in the further development of the company's EnCase® eDiscovery products, at a time when global data-protection, privacy, and legal technology requirements are undergoing rapid change. In this new role, McManamy will serve as the lead authority driving Guidance Software's e-discovery marketing and sales approaches, serving as the "voice of the customer" in the product development process, as well as continuing his work as a thought leader in the industry. He will oversee the internal planning process to determine how Guidance Software's e-discovery solutions can best address the market. In addition, McManamy will act as a thought leader externally on matters pertaining to e-discovery by speaking at conferences and on webinars, authoring articles and blogging. He is also one of the core leaders in designing the go-to-market strategy for Linked Review™—the groundbreaking technology assisted review (TAR) capability of EnCase eDiscovery that has proven highly effective in market trials. "Chad is a proven leader in the e-discovery field and the insight he has gained from years of multi-national litigation and serving as in-house counsel ensures we continuously innovate and support our customers," said Mark Harrington, senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Guidance Software. Ken Yearwood

Mr. Ken Yearwood has been appointed as Sales Director - Northern Europe of Guidance Software, Inc., effective September 08, 2014. Based in London, Mr. Yearwood will be responsible for managing sales, channel and business development in Northern Europe (UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia), as well as South Africa. Mr. Yearwood has more than 20 years of experience in managing sales operations within the software and telecommunications industries, with a specific focus on data security, networking, storage and backup. Prior to taking on his new role, Mr. Yearwood was the regional sales director for Websense, and prior to that, he was the director of sales and marketing in Northern Europe at Proofpoint, Inc.

Jay Ackerman

Jay R. Ackerman is Chief Revenue Officer of Company. From 2005 to 2014, Mr. Ackerman held various senior management positions at Service Source, as the Head of Worldwide Sales and Customer Success, Chief Renewals Officer and Chief Services Officer and EVP. Prior to Service Source, Ackerman was president and CEO for WNS North America. Previously, Mr. Ackerman held senior management positions at Exult, Inc. and Gunn Partners, Inc. Robert van Schoonenberg

Mr. Robert G. van Schoonenberg is an Lead Independent Director of the Company. He was an Independent Director of Guidance Software Inc. He is the Former Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of the Board of Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE:AVY). He also served as Secretary and General Counsel at Avery Dennison for over 28 years. John Colbert

He previously held a number of executive positions at Guidance Software, Inc., including President and Chief Executive Officer from August 2004 to July 2005, Senior Executive Vice President from April 2004 to August 2004, Senior Vice President of Sales and Professional Services from July 2003 to April 2004, Vice President of Professional Services from March 2003 to July 2003, Vice President of Research and Development from March 2002 to October 2002, and Director of Training from June 2001 to March 2002. Mr. Maximus Carnecchia Scipio is Director of Guidance Software, Inc. Max Carnecchia is the Chief Executive Officer of BIOVIA-Dassault Systémes. After acquiring Accelrys in 2014, Dassault Systémes announced the creation of the BIOVIA brand combining Dassault Systémes' own efforts in BioIntelligence, their collaborative 3DEXPERIENCE technologies and leading life sciences and materials science solutions from Accelrys. Prior to this, Mr. Carnecchia had served as President and CEO of Accelrys and a member of the Board of Directors since 2009. Mr. Carnecchia led Accelrys through significant growth and transformation, successfully transitioning the company from a leading provider of scientific business intelligence software to the leading global provider of Scientific Product Lifecycle Management software and services. Prior to Accelrys, Mr. Carnecchia served as President of Interwoven, a global leader in content management solutions, having previously served as Vice President of Alliances and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales after joining Interwoven in 2001. Prior to this, Mr. Carnecchia served as Vice President of Global Sales for Xoriant; Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for Smart DB Corporation sales; and he held management positions at Intel and Group 1 Software. Mr. Carnecchia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from The Stevens Institute of Technology. He serves on the Board of Directors of Agilysys, Inc. (NASDAQ: AGYS), a leading developer and provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software and services. He also serves on the Board of Directors of ALDA (Analytical Life Science & Diagnostics Association).

Reynolds Bish

Mr. Reynolds Carl Bish is Independent Director of the company. Mr. Bish is a vice president of Lexmark International, Inc., and president of Lexmark Enterprise Software. He is responsible for strategy, execution and executive team leadership for Lexmark’s industry-leading enterprise software offerings. Mr. Bish was CEO of Kofax, where he successfully sold the company to Lexmark in 2015 for over $1 billion. In 1989, he co-founded Captiva Software Corporation, which became a leading provider of input management solutions. He served as Captiva’s president and CEO until its acquisition by EMC Corporation in 2005. He then served as vice president of EMC’s Enterprise Software Group until mid-2006. Mr. Bish has served on the board of directors and as chairman of the audit committee of both Iomega Corporation (NYSE:IOM), a leading storage company acquired by EMC in 2007, and I-Many, Inc. Wade Loo

Mr. Wade W. Loo is Independent Director of the company. Mr. Loo currently serves as the audit committee chair of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, which is the largest community foundation in the United States. Mr. Loo was a non-executive director at Kofax Limited where he served as audit committee chair. Mr. Loo retired from KPMG during 2010, where he worked for 30 years. He was the leader of KPMG’s Audit Committee Institute Roundtables and Audit Committee Chair Peer Exchanges in Silicon Valley, which provide audit committee chairs and members with best practice and corporate governance information. While his recent focus was on emerging software and technology companies that are publicly held or in the process of affecting initial public offerings in the United States, Mr. Loo also has a wealth of experience in working with major public companies in international environments. As a result, he has significant experience with U.S. GAAP and SEC technical accounting and auditing matters. Mr. Loo is also a member of the board of directors of JobTrain, a charitable organization helping people in need find meaningful jobs in the East Palo Alto, California area.

Stephen Richards

Mr. Stephen C. Richards is an Independent Director of Guidance Software Inc. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors since February 2008 and, he previously served as a member of the Board from January 2006 until November 2006. He served as Chief Financial Officer of McAfee, Inc., from April 2001 until his retirement in December 2004. He also concurrently served as Chief Operating Officer from November 2001 to December 2004. Prior to that, he was Chief Online Trading Officer of E*TRADE Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:ETFC). His previous roles at E*TRADE also included: Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and New Ventures, Senior Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Prior to E*TRADE, he was Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Correspondent Clearing at Bear Stearns & Companies, Inc., Vice President/Deputy Controller of Becker Paribas, and First Vice President/Controller of Jefferies and Company, Inc. Mr. Richards is a Certified Public Accountant and a current member of the Board of Directors of Cray Inc. (NASDAQ:CRAY). During the period of 1999-2009, he served on the Board of Directors of Tradestation Group. He received a B.A. from the University of California at Davis and a M.B.A. in Finance from the University of California at Los Angeles.
