Name Description

Dinesh Paliwal

Mr. Dinesh C. Paliwal is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Harman International Industries, Incorporated. He was Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. Mr. Paliwal has served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President since July 1, 2008. He joined the company in July 2007 as Vice Chairman, CEO and President. Prior to joining the company, from January 2006 until June 2007, Mr. Paliwal served as President of ABB Ltd., a provider of industrial automation, power transmission systems and services. From January 2004 until June 2007, Mr. Paliwal also served as Chairman and CEO of ABB Inc., and from October 2002 to December 2005 he served as President of ABB Automation. Mr. Paliwal also serves as a director of ADT Corporation. Mr. Paliwal served as a director of Embarq Corporation and Tyco International Ltd. during the last five years.

Sandra Rowland

Ms. Sandra E. Rowland is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Harman International Industries, Incorporated., effective January 1, 2015. With more than 20 years of experience in financial management, Rowland joined HARMAN in 2012 to lead Investor Relations. In 2013, she also took on the responsibility of Corporate Development, which included Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to HARMAN, Rowland served in positions of increasing responsibility at Eastman Kodak Company, including Controller of the Consumer Segment, Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, Assistant Treasurer, Director of Investor Relations, and Chief Financial Officer of the Commercial Segment. John Stacey

Mr. John Stacey is Chief Human Resource Officer, Executive Vice President of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. He joined our Company in February 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to joining our Company, he was Vice President, People for InBev North America, InBev Central and Eastern Europe from 2005 through January 2008.

Henry Tirri

Mr. Henry Tirri is appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of the company. effective June 1, 2016. Prior to joining Nokia, Tirri was a tenured Professor of Computer Science, Head of the Graduate School and the Intelligent Systems Laboratory at the University of Helsinki, leading a world-class research group in probabilistic modeling. He has held various academic positions including Visiting Scholar at the University of Texas at Austin; Research Scientist at Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC); Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories; and Visiting Scientist at NASA AMES, Visiting Professor at Stanford University and an Adjunct Professor of Civil Engineering at University of California at Berkeley. He is the author and co-author of numerous academic papers in various fields of computer science, social sciences and statistics and holds many patents in information technology.

Ralph Santana

Mr. Ralph Santana is Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. effective April 1, 2013. Mr. Santana joined our Company in April 2013 as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining our Company, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung North America from 2010 to 2012. Todd Suko

Mr. Todd A. Suko is Executive Vice President, General Counsel of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. He joined our Company in October 2008 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. From October 2008 through December 2011 he also served as Secretary. Prior to joining our Company Mr. Suko served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for UAP Holding Corp. and United Agri Products from 2001 to September 2008. Phillip Eyler

Mr. Phillip Eyler is Executive Vice President and President, Infotainment of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. Eyler was previously Senior Vice President & General Manager, Global Automotive Audio. In his new role, Eyler will lead the nearly $3 billion Infotainment division of HARMAN which develops integrated systems encompassing Augmented Navigation, Telematics, Multimedia, Connected Safety and Cyber Security solutions. He will oversee an organization of 7,500 employees, includ721ing top technology experts and engineers throughout the world. He will be based at the Company's North America Automotive headquarters in Novi, Michigan.

Michael Mauser

Mr. Michael Mauser is Executive Vice President, President - Lifestyle Division of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. He was appinted as President - Lifestyle Division and no longer Co-President of the Infotainment Division of the Company effective July 1, 2013. He joined the Company in 1997, and has served as Executive Vice President and Co-President—Infotainment and Lifestyle Divisions since July 1, 2011. From April 2010 through June 30, 2011, Mr. Mauser served as Executive Vice President and Co-President—Automotive Division. From May 2005 until April 2010, Mr. Mauser served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the Company's Automotive Division.

Mohit Parasher

Mr. Mohit Parasher is Executive Vice President and President, Professional Solutions of the Company. He is responsible for all worldwide operations, strategy and performance of the Professional Solutions division, the world's largest professional audio, lighting, video and control products and systems organization. The division serves the entertainment and enterprise markets with comprehensive systems, including enterprise automation and complete IT solutions for a broad range of applications. He will be based at the headquarters for Professional Solutions in Northridge, Calif. Parasher joined HARMAN in May 2014 as Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Audio for Asia Pacific. Prior to HARMAN, he was CEO of Retail at Bharti Airtel, where he conceptualized and successfully executed the company's "serve to sell" business philosophy across its 1,200 retail stores. He also served as CEO and Executive Director for Beetel Teletech, a Bharti enterprise, where he turned the company profitable in his first three quarters on the job. Parasher enjoyed a long career with Sony where he managed market development across the world, including in the UK, Poland, India, Lebanon, Morocco and United Arab Emirates. In addition, Parasher served on the Supervisory Board of Sony Germany and the Board of Sony Europe. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pune and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Allahabad. He also received an executive management education from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Herbert Parker

Mr. Herbert K. Parker is Executive Vice President - Operational Excellence of Harman International Industries, Incorporated., effective January 1, 2015. He was serves as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Harman International Industries, Incorporated., effective January 1, 2015. He joined the Company in June 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From August 15, 2008 until October 1, 2008, Mr. Parker also served as the Company's principal accounting officer. Prior to joining the Company, he served as Chief Financial Officer of ABB North America from January 2006 to May 2008.

David Slump

Mr. David John Slump is Executive Vice President, President, Services of Harman International Industries, Incorporated., since July 1, 2013. From January 2009 through June 30, 2011, he served as President—Consumer Audio Division. From January 2009 through June 30, 2011, he served as President—Consumer Division. From January 2009 to May 2010, he also served as our Vice President, Corporate Development. Ann Korologos

Ms. Ann McLaughlin Korologos is a Lead Independent Director of Harman International Industries, Inc. She has served as Lead Director since May 2008. From April 2004 to April 2009, she served as Chairman of the RAND Corporation Board of Trustees. She is Chairman Emeritus of The Aspen Institute, where she served as Chairman from 1996 to 2000. Ms. Korologos was a Senior Advisor to Benedetto, Gartland & Company, Inc., an investment banking firm, from 1996 to 2005. From 1987 until 1989 she served as the United States Secretary of Labor. Ms. Korologos is a director of Michael Kors Holdings Limited, Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. and Kellogg Company. Ms. Korologos also served as a director of Vulcan Materials Company and AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines, during the last five years.

Adriane Brown

Ms. Adriane M. Brown has been appointed as Independent Director of Harman International Industries Inc., effective June 25, 2013. She is currently the President and Chief Operating Officer of Intellectual Ventures, a privately held invention capital firm that focuses on the creation of new inventions and the introduction of new models for monetizing inventions as stand-alone assets. Prior to joining Intellectual Ventures, Ms. Brown worked for Honeywell International, a Fortune 100 publicly traded diversified technology and manufacturing leader serving customers worldwide with aerospace products and services, control technologies for buildings, homes and industry, automotive products, turbochargers and specialty materials. Ms. Brown served as Senior Vice President, Energy Strategy from May 2009 to September 2009 and as President and CEO of Honeywell Transportation Systems from 2005 to 2009. Ms. Brown does not currently serve, and has not served in the last five years, on any other public company boards. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Pacific Science Center, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to inspire lifelong interest in science, technology and math, and Jobs for America’s Graduates, the nation’s leading drop-out prevention program.

John Diercksen

Mr. John W. Diercksen has been appointed as Independent Director of Harman International Industries Inc., effective June 25, 2013. He is currently Executive Vice President — Strategy of Verizon Communications, a global leader in delivering broadband and other wireless and wireline communications services to consumer, business, government and wholesale customers, from 2012 until September 2013, where he had responsibility for key strategic initiatives related to the review and assessment of potential mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. From 2003 through 2012, Mr. Diercksen was Executive Vice President — Strategy, Development and Planning for Verizon Communications. Mr. Diercksen currently serves as a Senior Advisor for LionTree Investment Advisors, a technology, media and telecommunications investment advisory firm. Mr. Diercksen is a director of Popular, Inc., a leading banking institution in Puerto Rico, and Intelsat, S.A., a communications satellite services provider.

Edward Meyer

Mr. Edward H. Meyer is an Independent Director of Harman International Industries, Inc. He has served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Ocean Road Advisors, Inc., an investment management company, since January 2007. From 1972 to 2006, Mr. Meyer served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Grey Global Group, Inc., a global advertising and marketing services company. Mr. Meyer also serves as a director of Retail Opportunity Investments Corp., a REIT that invests in a diverse portfolio of necessity-based retail properties. Mr. Meyer also served as a director of Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. and National CineMedia, Inc., an in-theater advertising company, during the last five years.

Robert Nail

Mr. Robert Nail is an Independent Director of Harman International Industries, Incorporated. Mr. Nail is the Associate Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Singularity University (“Singularity”), a private corporation that provides educational programs, innovative partnerships and a startup accelerator to help individuals, businesses, institutions, investors, NGOs and governments utilize cutting-edge technologies. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Singularity in October 2011, in October 2009 Mr. Nail co-founded Alite Designs, Inc. (“Alite”), a privately owned company that designs, manufactures, and markets products for outdoor use. From 2007 until 2009, Mr. Nail served as the General Manager for the Automation Solutions Division of Agilent Technologies Inc. (“Agilent”), a publicly traded life sciences, diagnostics and applied chemical markets company. Prior to his position with Agilent, in 1999 Mr. Nail co-founded Velocity11, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of robotic solutions for cancer research and drug discovery, where he served until it was acquired by Agilent in 2007. Mr. Nail is currently a member of the board of directors of Alite and Light & Motion, Inc., a privately owned company that designs and manufactures lighting solutions for outdoor and underwater activities.

Abraham Reichental

Mr. Abraham N. Reichental (Avi) is an Independent Director of Harman International Industries, Incorporated., effective April 1, 2015. Reichental is President and Chief Executive Officer of 3D Systems, a leading provider of advanced and comprehensive 3D digital design and fabrication solutions. Since joining 3D Systems in 2003, his passion to democratize the design-to-manufacturing process has driven the company's growth and positioned it as a global 3D content-to-print leader. Today, 3D Systems equips professionals and consumers across all industries with the tools necessary to bring ideas to life – through state-of-the-art 3D printers, print materials, cloud-sourced custom parts and more. Prior to his role with 3D Systems, Reichental served in a number of senior executive positions with Sealed Air Corporation during his successful 22-year career there.

Kenneth Reiss

Mr. Kenneth M. Reiss is an Independent Director of Harman International Industries, Inc. He served as a partner with Ernst & Young LLP, an accounting firm he joined in 1965, from 1977 until his retirement in June 2003. While at Ernst & Young, he also served as Managing Partner for the Assurance and Advisory Practice in the firm’s New York office and served as the lead auditor for several publicly traded companies, including Toys “R” Us, Inc., Staples, Inc., Phillips-Van Heusen, Inc. and Columbia Pictures. Mr. Reiss serves on the board of directors of The Children’s Place and The Wet Seal, Inc., both of which are national specialty retailers. Mr. Reiss also served as a director of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. during the last five years.

Hellene Runtagh

Ms. Hellene S. Runtagh is an Independent Director of Harman International Industries Inc. She formerly served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Berwind Group from 2001 to 2002, a diversified pharmaceutical services, industrial manufacturing and real estate company. From 1998 through 2000, she served as Executive Vice President of Universal Studios. Prior to joining Universal, Ms. Runtagh spent 25 years at General Electric Company in a variety of leadership positions. Ms. Runtagh also serves on the board of directors of Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., a full-line manufacturer and reseller of welding and cutting products, and NeuStar Inc., a provider of clearinghouse services to the communications industry. Ms. Runtagh served as a director of IKON Office Solutions, Inc. during the last five years.

Frank Sklarsky

Mr. Frank S. Sklarsky CPA. is an Independent Director of Harman International Industries, Inc. He Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PPG Industries, Inc. Prior to joining PPG Industries he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Tyco International Ltd. from December 2010 to September 2012. Prior thereto, from October 2006 to November 2010, Mr. Sklarsky served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eastman Kodak Co. Mr. Sklarsky served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of ConAgra Foods, Inc. from November 2004 to October 2006. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sklarsky spent 20 years with Chrysler in a series of senior financial leadership roles, and he also served in executive finance positions with Dell, Inc. Mr. Sklarsky serves on the Board of Trustees of Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also a certified public accountant. Mr. Sklarsky does not currently serve, and has not served in the last five years, on any other public company boards.

Gary Steel

Mr. Gary G. Steel is an Independent Director of Harman International Industries, Inc. He has served as the Head of Group HR and Sustainability and a member of the Group Executive Committee of ABB Ltd. from January 2003 to November 2013. Prior to joining ABB Ltd., Mr. Steel served in various executive positions with Royal Dutch Shell plc, including Human Resources Director for Global Finance for Shell International B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc. Mr. Steel currently serves on the board of directors of a publicly listed ABB subsidiary in India and is a non-executive director of SSEPD, a subsidiary of SSE plc, a publicly listed UK producer, distributer and supplier of electricity and gas.
