Dinesh Paliwal |
Mr. Dinesh C. Paliwal is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Harman International Industries Inc. Mr. Paliwal has served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President since July 1, 2008. He joined the company in July 2007 as Vice Chairman, CEO and President. Prior to joining the company, from January 2006 until June 2007, Mr. Paliwal served as President of ABB Ltd., a provider of industrial automation, power transmission systems and services. From January 2004 until June 2007, Mr. Paliwal also served as Chairman and CEO of ABB Inc., and from October 2002 to December 2005 he served as President of ABB Automation. Mr. Paliwal also serves as a director of ADT Corporation. Mr. Paliwal served as a director of Embarq Corporation and Tyco International Ltd. during the last five years. |

His responsibilities included accountability for Samsung’s brand communications, digital marketing, market intelligence, and product innovation team in North America. Previously, he spent 16 years at PepsiCo where he held a variety of executive marketing and senior product management roles that spanned North America and international business units. Mr. Todd A. Suko is Executive Vice President, General Counsel of Harman International Industries Inc. He joined the Company in October 2008 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel.
