Name Description
McGee, Liam Mr. Liam E. McGee serves as Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Hartford Financial Services. He was appointed as President of the company effective December 17, 2009. He is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., effective October, 1, 2009. He comes to the Company from Bank of America Corporation, which he joined in 1990. Most recently, Mr. McGee served as President, Bank of America Consumer and Small Business Bank, a position he held since August 2004. In that role, he operated the nation’s retail bank, serving more than 50 million consumer households and small businesses through a distribution network that included over 6,100 branches and the nation’s online and mobile bank. From August 2001 to August 2004, he served as President, Global Consumer Banking; from August 2000 to August 2001, he served as President, Bank of America California; and from August 1998 to August 2000, he served as President, Southern California Region.
Zlatkus, Lizabeth Ms. Lizabeth H. Zlatkus is Chief Financial Officer of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc, effective May 1, 2008. Ms. Zlatkus joined the Company in 1983 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in finance, risk management and business operations. In 1996, she became Director of The Hartford’s disability and group life business and was elected Senior Vice President in 1997. In 1999, she was named head of the Group Benefits Division. Ms. Zlatkus was named E xecutive Vice President of Hartford Life in March 2000, with overall profit-and-loss responsibility for Hartford Life’s Group Benefits Division. Ms. Zlatkus was named Chief Financial Officer of Hartford Life in 2003 and was also given responsibility for actuarial, risk management and Hartford Life’s information technology area. In February 2006, she was named President of International Wealth Management and Group Benefits and from June 11, 2007 until May 1, 2008 she served as Executive Vice President of the Company and Co-Chief Operating Officer of the Company’s life operations. Ms. Zlatkus’ professional career began at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now known as KPMG).
Andrade, Juan Mr. Juan Andrade has been appointed as President, Chief Operating Officer of Property and Casualty Operations of Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. He has served as Executive Vice President - Sales and Distribution of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. He was Executive Vice President and Head of Property and Casualty Operations of the company. In his new role, Andrade brings a proven record of relationship building and commitment to winning in the marketplace to a very strong field organization supporting 10,000 independent agents and brokers who distribute the company's portfolio of personal and business insurance products. Since joining The Hartford in 2006, Andrade and his team have transformed the company's claims organization, resulting in more accurate and better quality outcomes, enhanced customer service and more effective and efficient claims handling processes. In his insurance career before joining The Hartford - spanning 15 years at AIG and Progressive - Andrade has held a range of roles as a profit center manager, accountable for sales and distribution, product, pricing and claims. Andrade, graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science. He received his Master of Arts in International Economics and Latin American Studies from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies.
McGreevey, Gregory Mr. Gregory McGreevey is Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc and President of Hartford Investment Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, positions he has held since October 2008. Prior to joining the Company in August 2008, he held the positions of Vice Chairman and Executive Vice President of ING Investment Management – Americas from October 2005 through March 2008 and Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of ING Proprietary Fixed Income from October 2003 through October 2005.
Kreczko, Alan Mr. Alan Kreczko serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. since June 11, 2007. He previously held the positions of Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel where he oversaw the law department’s property and casualty, life, investment and compliance units. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Kreczko held various senior positions within the United States Government. Until 2002, he was the acting Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees and Migration, where he led the State Department’s response to humanitarian crises in conflict situations, including Afghanistan, Timor, Sudan and West Africa. Prior to that position, he had served as Legal Advisor to President Clinton’s National Security Council. He has also served as Deputy General Counsel to the Department of State and as legal advisor to the President of the United States’ personal representatives for Middle East negotiations.
Concannon, Michael Mr. Michael Concannon is Executive Vice President - Property and Casualty Sales and Distribution Organization of Hartford Financial Services. An industry veteran with experience in sales, underwriting, product and finance, Concannon joined The Hartford in 1995 working in product management for the personal lines insurance center. He has held several positions with increasing levels of responsibility at The Hartford, including leadership roles in the affinity business unit and product management. Prior to joining The Hartford, Concannon held a number of finance and underwriting management positions at Allstate Insurance Company, E.F. Hutton & Co. and Dean Witter Reynolds. Mr. Concannon earned a Bachelor of Science from St. John's University and an Master of Business Administration from Adelphi University.
Whelley, Eileen Ms. Eileen Whelley serves as Executive Vice President for Human Resources of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc, a position she has held since June 2007. She previously held the position of Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources. Prior to joining the Company in December 2006, Ms. Whelley spent 17 years at General Electric where she held a number of human resources leadership roles. In 2002, she was named executive vice president of human resources for NBC Universal, responsible for HR and talent negotiations for the NBCU Television Group and corporate staff functions. Before joining NBCU, Ms. Whelley was the vice president of human resources excellence for GE Capital in Stamford, Conn., where she oversaw HR for eight GE Capital businesses, HR Six Sigma and HR talent development. Walters, John Mr. John Walters is an Executive Vice President of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc and serves as Chief Operating Officer of The Hartford’s life operations. Mr. Walters joined Hartford Life in April 2000 from First Union Securities, the brokerage subsidiary of First Union Corp. In that position, he managed their consulting services group, which provided investment consulting to high net worth clients. Mr. Walters joined First Union through its 1998 acquisition of Wheat First Butcher Singer, where he had been since 1984.
Bombara, Beth Ms. Beth A. Bombara has held the positions of Senior Vice President and Controller of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc since June 4, 2007. Since joining the Company in April 2004 as a Vice President, with primary responsibility for the Company’s compliance with the internal control requirements set forth in Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, Ms. Bombara has held positions of increasing responsibility. Weaver, Constance Ms. Constance Weaver serves as Senior Vice President - Marketing and Communications of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc since February 2008. Mr. Weaver's extensive career in marketing, communications and investor relations brought her most recently to BearingPoint, a management and technology consulting company, where she served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Prior to her role with BearingPoint, Weaver held a similar post at AT&T, capping a 10-year career with the telecommunications company. Before joining AT&T, Weaver held senior positions covering investor relations, communications, marketing and strategy with Microsoft Corporation, MCI Communications and McGraw-Hill, Inc. Weaver has been deeply immersed in community and civic engagement. Swygert, H. Patrick Mr. H. Patrick Swygert serves as Director of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc since 1996. Mr. Swygert is a Distinguished Lecturer of the Institute for Strategic Studies of the National Defense University. He previously served as President of Howard University, Washington, D.C., a position he held from August 1995 until his retirement in June 2008. He was President of the University at Albany, State University of New York, from 1990 to 1995. Mr. Swygert also is a member of the Board of Directors of United Technologies Corporation and a member of the External Advisory Board of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Strauss, Charles Mr. Charles B. Strauss serves as Director of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc since 2001. Mr. Strauss served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Unilever United States, Inc., a primary business group of Unilever, the international food and home and personal care organization, from May 2000 until his retirement in December 2004. While at Unilever, he also held the positions of Group President, Unilever Home and Personal Care—North America since September 1999 and Chairman of the North America Committee, which coordinates Unilever's North American activities. McGovern, Gail Ms. Gail J. Mcgovern serves as Director of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc since 2003. Fetter, Trevor Mr. Trevor Fetter serves as Director of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. since 2008. Mr. Fetter was named President of Tenet Healthcare Corporation effective November 2002 and was appointed its Chief Executive Officer in September 2003. From March 2000 to November 2002, Mr. Fetter served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Broadlane, Inc., a provider of technology solutions for the healthcare industry. Mr. Fetter also is a member of the Board of Directors of Tenet Healthcare Corporation.
Allardice, Robert Mr. Robert Allardice serves as Director of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. since 2008. He is a retired regional Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank Americas Holding Corporation, North and South America. He began his financial services career at Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc., where he spent nearly 20 years in positions of accelerating responsibility. He founded the company's Merger Arbitrage Department and later became chief operating officer of the Equity Department. He was also a founding member of Morgan Stanley's Finance Committee.
